Really great movie!!! Lagaan took a lot of prizes in 2001 and had been screened in many many countries all over the world. So,I think people still enjoy watching these kind of indian old stories. If someone didn't watch it yet, I reccomend it with all my pleasure!

This is one of my (many!!) favorite Indian songs.....and I'm an Irish/Scottish American. :o)) This movie is a fabulous tale of slavery and escape by sheer courage, commitment, and common sense. Setting the untouchable as a valued member of the team was genius....and humanly fair. :o) Thanks Amir it's a gem you've created here...and it should have WON the Oscar for best foreign film!!!
