  • I was soooooooooo gonna ask you if you were Haitian. This is such a miracle because it's hard to find others with the same hair type as you & ethnicity. Your videos are GREAT!!! Love them& thank you! :)

  • I am so appreciative of this vid. I especially appreciate the parts with the tangles. I thought I was the only one!

  • ooooo mmmmmm gggggg finally someone with true 4c hair just like my daughters. it takes me forever to do her hair, she is 13 and i am just nowhandling it more. i used to keep it in braids but bc of hand problems i cant do her hair. its so thick and sooooo much. her hair is long like yours too. i may try twists on her hair but it will def be big. yours look nice bc you are grown but for a teen she not going for it LOL. omg, thank GOD for running into this video any suggestions will be great

  • OH MY GOSH!!! That use to be my song that your playing in the background of your video, the first song. Yep, you got a new subbie :-)

  • @TheCoilWhisperer Ha ha ha ha, sounds like you got sick of it... I still love it!!! Thanks for subbing :-*

  • @chery818 Nah, didn't get sick of it. Just don't know where I put the CD. That's back when I use to buy mix CD's to listen to in the car... LOL You know how that goes. It could be under a seat for all I know. LOL

  • I LOVE YOUR 4C HEALTHY THICK HAIR!

  • @luvjnz Thanks :0)

  • your hair looks very much liek mine - but probably thicker - lovely :)

  • @VictoriousLat Thanks much :0)

  • Beautiful hair - you make me want to take down my 3 week old braids now and detangle :)

  • @curliefro He he he :0)

  • Hey Chery! Glad to see u back.

Good tutorial. At 9:30 I hear "fam sa movè" by carimi playing in the background lol.

  • @NEPH80 Hey babes, I'm glad to be back. You know I gotta jam to my konpa while I work, it helps me keep my sanity when dealing with the hair LOL. Hope you and little man are doing good :-*

  • I love this video! This is a similar process to the one I use to detangle my super coily hair (I do 10 sections and don't comb-detangle at all). I also do it on stretched hair before washing (much easier than on super coily wet hair) while listening to music. Finger-detangling is such a good technique.

  • @Lifeisagift1990 :-D I'm glad you liked it. I'm not even gonna lie, if I get frustrated I pick up the comb LOL. You are definitely right about doing it on stretched hair. And definitely definitely have to have my music!

  • Your hair looks beautiful and healthy! I need to start trimming my hair as well. Nice vid!

  • @NoireTropicalBeauty Thanks hun, I trimmed it and took off a nice amount. I was against it but I guess now I see the necessity.

  • yeah, that was a lot of shrinkage. that's why I only use oils when finger detangling.

  • my hair twin shrinkage, tangles, knots, dense cottony goodness lol :o) thank you so much for doing this video. i think you are the only person i've seen detangle the way i do, fingers and a pair of trusty scissors near by. Please do more...

  • @didi425 yes to the dense cottony goodness LOL... people were trying to debate my hair type but I know what it really is LOL... I have more vids coming soon. Thanks for watching :0)

  • Are you Haitian? I'm hearing creole music in the background?

  • @outreachfamily2009 yeah I am LOL. Definitely blasting the konpa :-D

  • @chery818 - lol! I thought so too. I am Haitian as well...

  • @outreachfamily2009 he he he :-D
