  • Hi i have a question, i will be purchasing the logitech flight system G940 soon, and i was wondering i you knew if i can build in a saitek control panel, so basically mix logitech and saitek together, would that work?

    Thanks

  • Nice sim setup. Im.in the middle.of building mine. I have the components. Im working on the shell now. Your video is inspiring. Keep up the great work and hope to see you in the skies.

  • Thanks a lot for your words, I appreciate it

Keep hard working in this passion.

  • HOW DID YOU DO THE SAITEK YOKES TO TERN LEFT OR RIGHT TOGETHER.

    PLEASE ANSWER

  • Extending axes of yokes with a rod, weld a sprocket on the end, and join with a bike chain

  • how much is it

  • US$9.000

  • Did you modify the yokes yourself? I don't remember a forced feedback saitek yoke... That's awesome. How did you do it?

  • Hi aceangel, Yes, I made some modifications. You can do it by extend the axes of yokes with a rod, weld a sprocket on the end, and join with a bike chain.

    Thanks for posting

  • @caherna Thank you for responding. Nice setup :)

  • omfg this is boring

  • No problem, just don't see it, jejeje

    Thanks for posting.

  • @FlyAway787 I agree it is not heavy, but it is heavier than an RJ. Again, it depends on the angle of the taxiway. In this video, the taxiway was at such an angle that it would not be possible to do this type of departure. And that is a very unusual departure. What airport, may I ask ?

  • You should consider making these cockpits for sale. Its more attractive and practical than some of the stuff out there. can you share instructions on how you buid it?

  • @FlyAway787 Yes, I agreee, but take notice the angle of the turn in, is more than 45 degrees, and the aircraft is heavy (i.e. 737-800.) If there was a situation where the takeoff was to be aborted very early on in the flight, the aircraft would skid off the runway. Most likely you were on something light, such as a CRJ 200. I know this because I fly 172's =]

  • Very improper roll-on takeoff. I am disappointed.

  • Upps, please don't take it so seriously, I'm just in the process of learning.

    Thanks for posting

  • @caherna Okay, well just keep in mind that you have to be on the runway before spool.

  • Ok, thank you very much. I'll keep in mind and I appreciate your advice.

    Me puedes contactar a caherna@colomsat.net.co

  • Great Video. U have probably had this question so many times. but how did you join the two yokes together. Great simulator there :D

  • ok dude look.. great homemade cockpit... 2 things u need tho... with such a cool cockpit u need a better chair... preferably a desk chair... u wont regret it once u start using it... and the second thing is more screens going around for a more realistic look for u... other then that... thumbs up bro...

  • Hi man. Yep, you are right.

Because space and some bucks, I must wait a little more, jejejeje.

Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it.

  • Qué tal man cómo va todo?

Para que ambos tengan el mismo movimiento tuve que instalar un acople y modificar los joystick.

  • Genial!

    Felicitaciones!

  • Muchas gracias.

  • you're pilot? xd

  • Nop, Just a hobbie

  • @caherna are you using anything else with your mcp i see or is it just plug and play? thinking of buying one but hear you need other software??

  • Hi Paul,

It's necessary the SIOC software that comes with the panel.

It comes with a USB connector. Very simple and easy.

Nice teamspeak :p Which one? :p lol

  • Thanks.

A/P Panel is from Opencockpits, and teamspeak is Ivao

  • Hi Nice Video, I'D like to do somethin simular to what you have done in thois video. May i ask how you Linked your 2 Yokes Together. :)

  • Thank you.

Well, you have to extend the main axis of yokes with a rod and in the end weld a bicycle sprocket to join them with a chain

  • How did zou linked them ?

  • Extremely cool setup!! Great job!!

  • Thank you so much

  • Hello :D Great video, I don't know much about computers, but I know I know that Triplehead2Go link's the monitors. But I have heard that u need 2 video cards. Have u used 2 and if not how does it all work? thanks, subscribed to :D

  • Hi.

For Triplehead2go only need one video output (3 of above), but my project uses 2 cards with 2 output each, 'cause I have 3 more screens.

  • Cuanto le costo hacerse todo el cockpit?

  • pues ya voy como por US$8K

  • where did u download the pfd and nd and the ecams from??

very useful if u could tell me nd do u know where i can get the airbus ones??

  • As this is default airplane, U can get them as follows:

    Shift + 8 = PFD

    Shift + 9 = MFD

    For ecams, I modified panel.cfg of B737

  • where did u download the pfd and nd and the ecams from

very useful if u could tell me

  • The default FSX 737...shit the workload must of been high :O

  • :-)

  • Is that frog as a coopilot? ;)

  • Jejejejejeje Right.

    My partner of adventure.

  • @caherna =)

  • The andereYoke moves yes. how did you do that

  • Hi, I modified the main rod of every yoke to attach some mobile parts, similar to a real airplane

  • Smart idea m8!!! u bring me a idea!

  • Jeje

    Afterwards, let me know

  • simply impressive Caherna, most of the comments are around 2 points

    1) triple head to go , 2 graphic cards and how they work together.

    2) linkage of the 2 yokes mechanism and how you did it.

if you would kindly post some pictures in your website demonstrating these 2 topics you will make many people's lives easier including my self, thank you for sharing the information.
