  • I was discharged from the Navy because I have this disease. I started showing symptoms when I was 15 and I was just diagnosed a few months back (I am 17 now) It's painful and does effect a large part of your life but remain positive and make healthy choices.

  • this doctor is looking down at something and reading off it he dont know shit. prob not even a real doctor.

  • UC and other intestinal infections/problems can be treated to the point where you have no more pains and flairs. Intestinal problems start from the chemicals, additives, artificial stuff, radiation and process of the food that we put in our bodies. This stuff shouldnt be inside us, but it is, and it sticks to our intestins and creates problems. Just eat real organic and natural food. It will fix your problem. Also take a cleanes that contains organic material, herbs, etc. you can watch my vid

  • @keendreamer You have GOT TO BE KIDDING!!! Do you have UC? I doubt it. If you did, you wouldn't be spewing this garbage. If I'd merely eaten tree bark and lawn clippings, as you suggest, I'D BE DEAD. As well as thousands of others suffering with UC. UC will kill you if not treated properly. Thanks to my Doctor, I now am 6'0" 200lbs. During my worst flair I lost down to 119lbs, that's right 119lbs. I also had to have several blood transfusions. UC has NOTHING to do with diet. It is inherited!!!

  • @eddievalleytrailer I have to say I agree with you. I was only just diagnosed 16/10/10 sadly, it was untreated for 2 years, and undiagnosed. By 6/11/10 I was rushed for emergency surgery, at 21 I now have an illeostomy. I lost 185lbs in 27 months without trying, becoming severely malnutritioned and underweight. My diet since birth has been nothing but organic foods - obviously, diet is not a cause. UC has been linked with genetics, in some cases. Lucky me, I'm the only one in my family with it.

  • @eddievalleytrailer well, I do have UC since you can't really get rid of it, but it is under control. I just remember that when i started eating real food as opposed to chemicalized, processed, etc. foods I began to just not notice pains until I forgot I ever had flairs and stuff. You can call it a miracle or you can look at other claims about organic food keeping UC under control. Im sure organics are good for people with UC at any stage, but if caught at my age then it's very treatable.

  • I had a flare up back in '82 that so was so intensely painful that I finally shoved a bottle of 'Aunt Jemima Syrup' up there just to stop the pain.

This did not stop the pain, but it made it easier for my cell mate to toss my salad despite my nauseating condition down there.

  • I succumbed to severe ulcerative colitis actually six years ago (not 5 as previously mentioned). I say succumbed because it sure felt like I was dead. But with careful studying of my diet, temporary correction, rotating, and the eventual health of a naturopath, I ended up HEALTHIER than I had ever been before! I was thinking of posting a video to YouTube, and after seeing everyone talk about J-pouches, Asacol and invasive surgeries, I'm convinced more than ever I have to make a video. HEALTHY!

  • The general YouTube word has compelled me to make my own train-of-thought video. Feel free to watch my video and share your comments ("Conquering ulcerative colitis WITHOUT SURGERY : Prologue").

  • I have a friend that who has this...

    I will say this....

    type

"Ulcerative Colitis Vitamin E Fish oil"

    in Google... good luck

  • yes cuz the anas is meant only for things to come out ahah

  • i have ulcerative colitis. please help me and visit my website

  • I understand that but I make sure to use a lot of lubrication and keep it slow. I wish there was a way to get around having anal for sexual pleasure but to be frank I don't have a vagina so its either my anus or my mouth. I hope there is some advice that you could offer me that wouldn't discourage me from having anal sex.

  • Are you fucking kidding me?

  • Is there a problem?

  • REALLY!!!

  • thats how it got worse for u ???

  • So........ Ulcerative Colitis ruined my career, life and relationship.

Out of everything this disease brings... You're worried about ass-sex...?...

    I fucking hate humanity........

  • I have a severe case of the disease and It has not ruined my life. I think you just need to think positively and not let it defeat you. There are worse things that could be affecting you other than your UC.

  • how did it ruin your relationship bud, I understand life but apart from a sex life how would it drive of your mate?

  • cut one of ur eyes out and there u go weirdo

  • Should people with UC not engage in anal sex? I am asking because I've engaged in anal sex a few times and its very painful and I'm not sure if it is due to my colitis or not. I am not sure if the rectum and intestine shrink do to UC or whatnot but would love to know more.

  • Anal sex in highly not recommended for patients with UC. The anus is not meant for sex in general. The lower end of the colon/rectum most likely is inflamed so engage in anal sex would only cause more harm to the inflamed area and problems with bowel movements.

  • This interview is somewhat sloppy, but all their information is correct. However, I was under the impression that UC was a college-age diagnosis, not primarily pediatric...it's usually much more severe if diagnosed in childhood.

  • How is it sloppy?

  • Interesting video.
