  • Rockapella just isn't the same without Barry Carl.

  • they really messed up when they let barry carl go..

  • @lowvoice2012 they messed up even more by letting Kevin Wright go.

  • @tigerman4 I agree. I love Stephen in for Elliot, but John is no Kevin and never will be

  • poor monkey-faced guy gets very little face time

  • Sam Cooke <3 Rockacapella<3

  • awesome

  • The lead singer reminds me of Owen Wilson. I remember these guys from watching Carmen Sandiego, they introduces me to the wonderful world of a capella. They are awsome!

  • @4lyfebboy dude thats not rob schneider

  • These guys are just perfect, their vocal blends are spot on, singing acapella is not easy, awesome group.

  • The second song is called "(What a) Wonderful World". Not "Don't know much...". Thanks!

  • what made me come here was because i was on retro junk, and i saw them on a Taco Bell commercial! i knew they sounded familiar! then i thought, "OMG! they sang the theme to my fave show!" yes! yeeeeeeeesh!

  • owen wilson's falsetto is so clean. i love it!

  • Perfeito!

  • the second song is called 'wonderful world' from sam cooke

  • Awesome. Is the vocal percussionist singing T1 in this tune?

  • @IronManWXC what is that?

  • @ChrisisBass13 High Tenor

  • the lead singer looks like a cross between martin short and that douche from karate kid. But theres no doubt these guys can sing.

  • the blonde hair guys sings like its his family have died. his eyes have such emotion.

  • i love this video because since there's no microphone i don't have to watch scott's annoying microphone antics. just get to hear his terrific voice

  • jeff voice is great

  • Come to think of it, most people don't know what a slide rule is for.

  • 2:54 -> What's that on his throat? Is it a mircophone to specifically pick up on his humming?

  • @EnigmaDrath you are right in that it being a microphone but I would think it is used more to pick up the noises he makes in his throat when he is beat-boxing.

  • @EnigmaDrath he's the drum set of the group, if you catch my drift. So I'm guessing that the device on his throat is to pick up his beats and etc.

  • @EnigmaDrath no no..those are special mics that pic up when he is being a drum machine...they pic up the bass notes that he makes in deep in his throat.

  • who's the bass freakin tight

  • @wyomon1 The bassist in the video is Barry Carl but he is no longer with the group. However Rockapella is still a stellar and professional group, their concerts are a lot of fun and the guys are all very very nice people.

  • who's the bass freakin tight

  • who's the bass freakin tight

  • I love rockapella! damn they covered all the best songs of the world.

everytime i hear their songs i spontaniously become happy =D!

  • it's "wonderful world". frontmanmike has it right. think of james taylor, "something in the way she moves", which led george harrison to write "something", the first line of which is "something in the way she moves" (he asked for permission from James first). anyway, I love these guys, and thanks for all the close-ups and calm camera, not easy to find.

  • Wow, guys. This song is called "Don't Know Much About History," and it was made famous by Sam Cooke.

What A Wonderful World is an entirely different song, just one that is often used in a MEDLEY with this one by a cappella groups.

  • wronf the name of the song is Wonderful World...sorry...

  • @Jeremy122586

Nope, not entirely wrong. I said the song isn't "What a Wonderful World"

"I see trees of green, red roses too

I see them bloom for me and you

And I think to myself what a wonderful world."

THAT is "What a Wonderful World."

This song is called "Wonderful World," and informally (more commonly) known by it's first line, "Don't Know Much About History." Both titles are correct, I'm just avoiding the confusion as best I can.

  • verry good sir....but this songs official title is WONDERFUL WORLD...I know it might be hard to understand this but songs do have the same names some time...Sorry...

  • also the woman you were trying to correct...she explains it...but you didnt read all that did ya.

  • Wasn't trying to correct the woman, but ... you didn't read all that, did ya. :) Not gonna start arguing, buddy.

  • HELLO PEOPLE

the song is called Wonderful World, there's two songs that are called that

this however is not the same as the Louis Armstrong Wonderful World

i've never heard it called by that other name, maybe they do not know the title and just use that as the title.

    stop being so ignorant

  • I watch this everyday when I get home from work..lol. So soothing.

  • I liked Sean

  • I Like all of them but I think Jeff is awesome when he does the percussion on the "Carmen Sandiego" song

  • Kevin has such a beautiful voice.

But I prefer Sean as a performer.. tough choice.

    Who does everyone else prefer?

  • Wander who will replace kevin?

  • This is my absolute favourite acapella medley EVER!!!

  • Daja Czadu Chłopaki... Ekstra!!!

  • awsome voices, this saved my day! thanks for sharing

  • These guys are rad! The bass is BEAST.

  • AWESOME. forreal.

  • Wow, way to steal this clip from crazeehips.

  • Actually, I don't think crazeehips has any videos with Rockapella singing Don't Know Much.

  • It's called "What a Wonderful World."

  • actually it's called 'up on the roof'

  • he's referring to the second song they sing. they sing two songs. Up On The Roof by The Drifters and Wonderful World by Sam Cooke

  • No, What a Wonderful World is a Louis Armstrong song. That one I believe is called Don't Know Much About History but I could be wrong. However I'm fully sure about What a Wonderful World being a Satchmo song.

  • OMFG!!! reall really AWESOME!! u guys are super!!!!

  • Could just be me, but I think his talent makes him soooo attractive.

  • I think that's mostly the camera...he's amazingly talented.

  • best rendition ever!

  • can you download this from anywhere?

  • absolutely amazing!

  • how old r these guys now?

the last thing i saw them i nwas their santa barbara concert (it's on youtube too)

    and they were so energetic

    and young looking

it looks like they've aged quite a bit in this one

    they're so awesome ^^

  • what makes them so amazing are the locked vowels , making the chords ring and the harmony so much tighter then any other "up on the roof" vid on here.

  • they are amazing

  • awesome!!
