What about pronunciation MS ranganathan??its BHO and not Bo shamboo.Its shambhooooo.

Pronunction makes a lot of difference.

Great voice sudha,but its the difference between MS and the rest of the retinue.MS understood and spelled correctly every word she sang.By doing like what MS did,you will retain the meaning of the word and then you dont offend native speakers of the language you are singing.

I am talking about tyagaraja kritis etc.

You simply cannot mumble something and say that its a song!

i have seen some comments about Sudha. She has good bhava and very good ucha sthayi in combination ( only a very few have that). I have seen some comments about Sudha's capability. In case Sudha happens to see them she should ignore those silly comments. Compare with all contemporary voices. Sudha has indeed sweet voice and good mano dharma. Yes there are times when one can hear hoarseness. but that does not hinder her tempo

Great song. each artist puts thier stamp on it. Loved Maharajapuram Santhanam singing this song. Aruna Sairam sang this song with a fantastic Revathi alapana. When ever I hear this ragam I think of Aruna Sairam.

I would suggest everyone to listen to Dyanalingam ... album by Sudha Raghunathan which was sung for the dyanalingam temple at velliangiri..near coimbatore.... its is one of the best album of Sudha or that matter anyone.....you will definetely... like it very much..... OM NAMA SHIVAYA>>>>>

Obviously, you haven't heard Maharajapuram Santhanam. Just check that one out... Sudha Raghunathan's rendering is great and I am nobody to judge one way or the other.. But you will definitely fall for Maharajapuram.

Superb. Just out of the world. She is very good with all songs on Shiva. One must listen to all her dancwe numbers on shiva like " idadu padam" and "aadi kondar". No body can sing this song like sudha.

the only reason i looked this up is because theshadowfox135 did this on his flute and had a friend accompany him on electric drums. you should check it out. he did a pretty good job. i didn't expect the song to sound like this but then again i'm not used to this type of music. it certainly have an exotic feel to it. i like the way the woman singing this makes her voice go up and down between to two notes really fast, like a trill. she's very good.
