  • Im just gonna buy a 2008 Saab 9-3 aero V6 and i want to know if its a good car ano if it has got any engine issue ! THANK YOU VERY MUCH

  • @JJ388JAr Yeah, that hill started when the turbo came in.

  • honestly i absolutely hate gm, and i hate their influence on saab, but i drove a 2009 9-3 with the turbo v6 i believe, and it was a pretty quick car for what it was

  • @maikeru01 What grade of fuel are you using? Try using premium for a couple of tanks and if that doesnt fix it, replace your boost control valve (APC Solenoid) Good Luck

  • This car is sick...i love Saab hehe and that is coming from a Volvo owner!

Respect Saab, BIG RESPECT FROM ME!

  • @maikeru01 sounds like your running to much boost so its detonating, check for boost leaks or broken actuator, get it tested on a rolling road.

  • @AndyJamesWilliams I took it to the dealer for something else and when I got it back I didn't have the issue anymore and they didn't charge me for it, so I think something might just have needed to be tuned up. Thanks for the help anyway though.

  • @maikeru01 glad it sorted now.

  • @maikeru01 I guess your turbo wastegate is sticking or something like that and you get a fuelcut, which is meant to protect the engine from overboost.

  • Whats better, the 9-3 or the 9-5 overall?

  • @maikeru01 Try turning off the traction control/"ESP". If the car gets too much torque the engine will cut it and stop your acceleration.

If not.. then get you car checked with someone that know Saab :)

  • @stureah actually i had to take it to the dealer for something else and when i got it back i didnt experience this problem anymore but thank you for the suggestion.

  • @maikeru01 good to hear ;)

  • @maikeru01 it shouldnt do that. you have something wrong with overboosting. it should sit right at the edge of the green markers and not go into the red. possibly something wrong with your diverter valve. or are you tuned?

  • That happen to all Saab Turbo cars unless you take that feature off, the fuel cut off if the turbo goes in red thats why u have that "bucking" power loss...normal as far as i know, safety feature

  • I think there must be something wrong with your car. I have had many Saab Turbos, and I don´t recognize your problem at all.

  • i tested it out today. i think i was just shifting too early. to get some extra mpg i tend to try and keep the RPMs under 3000. but if i let it go to 3 or 4 i don't have the issue with the turbo.

  • no down hill shit here you nob. saab aeros are quick, my 95 aero will do 40-60mph in about 2 seconds!

  • Do you not understand how fast these cars are? Down a hill you're having a laugh!!!!!!

  • I have seen the comments you make to people. I really suggest you should see a doctor.

  • that was from 50 to 120.... not from 80....

  • THE SOUND IS F****** AWESOME!!!!!!

  • faster than M3 (4.5sec)

  • im thinking of buying a 9-3 2.8 and trading in my 9-5 hot aero

  • don't do it!

the 9-5 aero, especially! remapped is an absolute beast.

the 2.8 eats fuel with little advantage... uk owners will care... :)

  • Do it. I did. It sounds great and pulls like a freshly sodomised mule.

  • I've driven this thing, and it's really amazing!
