@frost1004 4D34 (3.9 liter) is for light truck (Fuso Canter fe859) and shuttle (Fuso Rosa or Temsa Prestige) applications. Wrong engine choice may causes higher fuel consumption and more. Mitsubishi Fuso produces their all engines for unique vehicles. i advice 2.5 liter 4d56-t or (if you may find) 3.2 liter 4m41 for your Montero/Pajero.
