This movies reminds me of my cousin and best buddy who passed away 5 years ago. Reminds me of my teen years and childhood growing up together. Life sucks. This is one of those movies that you have to watch once or twice a year. It is really two human beings. Changed my view about gay people

@MatterOfMusicXD life is too unpredictable... before he died, ang lee was preparing brokeback mountain 2, did you know? apparently, in the film, the family of jack twist were lying about jack's death, because they suspected of such strong friendship. i hope they find another person, but it will never be the same...

@MatterOfMusicXD yeah... when i cried the most was when i saw the letter he send it with the seal "dead" or something like that, and when he entered into jack's dresser and ennis saw his two shirts in the back... and the worst moment for me was when ennis' daughter left her jacket in ennis' house and he went to keep it in the closet and saw the two shirts whith the photo and he cried...... god..

@christine007ish When Ennis said ’Jack, I swear’, he meant that he swore he did-and still- love him; and perhaps if they had another chance he swore he would go with Jack.

In the short story though, it was clearly stated that it was because Jack had never asked him to promise him anything. So when he`s dead, Ennis finally ’promised’.
