Not a big fan of UK based Breakz but this track however was very popular round' the 03'-05' on 'The X-Factory' (local late night radio show) for damn good reason! Heard remixes but the original here still kills it!
True, I keep up on it all. They're alright, I'm just not a big fan of that 'glitchy' stuff. I have however heard some REAL tight shit come from Deekline & Wizard, Aquasky vs. Masterblaster, & Breakfastaz has some undeniably tight tracks! I'm more so into Dark Miami Bass infused Electro Breaks and Eastern style Electro (not E-House). I actually do have to agree with you though, UK Breaks have gotten way better as the Breaks over here have to!
check these artist out on myspace/music, Far Too Loud, The Breakfastaz, Meat Katie, Elite Force, Napt, D-Ranged, Aquasky, Deekline....trust me....this is what's hot right here, fuck rap and metal, its all about breakbeats....you'll get tons of pussy with this music
You must be out of your mind lol... I am from Baton Rouge and I play in New Orleans a few times a year and they ALWAYS eat the breaks up... Ill say its not as big as it was a few years ago but its still there and people are still jamming it... I iv gotten plenty of girls playing breaks from Houston to Miami...
yeah im from NOLA and the scene hasn't been the same since the palace days but breaks its still the genre of choice down here... but youre right, the scene is nothing compared to what it used to be.
@Smalls2103 what do you mean still it wasnt the genre a choice when the palace parties were still poppin , donnie only booked Icey and a few other break dj .... ALL HAIL UBERZONE THOUGH BEST BREAKS EVER & WERE STEADY BOOKE IN NEW ORLEANS
@MrNatesnumberone there huge in New Orleans at clubs & shit (ampersand) but when there was an actual rave scene ie State palace theater (before the dea shut it down) , house , trance and drum & bass were all way more popular
In the past year Breaks has died down drastically in NOLA. Everyone has stepped on the dubstep train and its not looking to be going anywhere anytime soon. But i wasn't saying that when the palace was up and running that Breaks was the number choice of genre down here, i agree with you that house, trance, and dnb were, but in the time period that the palace shut down to the time this comment was made, Florida Breaks had developed a huge following in NOLA.
Nice vocal. Check out the King Roc remix...

""you'll get tons of pussy with this music " depends on where your from , no girls were im from listen to breaks, all they listen to is rap/hip hop
