After seeing the results of the first trial, with all the holes in the evidence and lack of motive, I am worried she might not win on appeal. If they were able to convict her on that weak case, i have serious concerns about the fairness of the process. For example the phone company's representative testified that they have no way of knowing if a phone is off. The movie has them turning their phones off at the same time. They have no way of knowing if this is true or not.
