It is a much better car than, say, a Honda Civic. It is light years beyond what they were making just a few years ago.

I think it is a quattro, not 100% sure, but watch when he takes off, back end drops quite a bit, a lot more than you would expect in a FWD. Could be wrong though. The guy driving the MS3 definitely failed off the line though, I've been a fan of the speed 3 since it came out, and even with AWD the TT shouldnt have beat it off the line that bad, unless heavily modded. The Speed 3 is insane in the low end.

FYI, the 225 quattro is 1.8t 5V motor. its a 4 cylinder with a turbo, and 5 valves per cyl.

3 intake two exaust. the quattro model is also a 6 speed with AWD. (obviously quattro means 4) This was Def not a quattro. this is the 180hp front wheel drive 5 speed. that extra 45 hp is needed to get the rear weels in motion on the quattro.

@V8Japanese Actually audi TTs are kinda slow unless you mod them. Except for the black rims that TT had nothing done to it. That Mazda however is not a normal Mazda 3. Its definitely a mazdaspeed 3. Stock MS 3s have about 270 hp at the crank. Not sure what at the wheels

@V8Japanese You are correct to an extent my friend... However not all TTs have all wheel drive. The base model TT is a 1.8 turbo front wheel drive which only makes 180 HP at the crank and alot less torque than a speed 3. Only the AWD version comes with 225HP and even then it lacks the torque that the speed 3 has. But judging by this video I can tell you that this audi is not the AWD version. If it was it prob would have been faster off the line

@joshtard1111 Just lettin you know man, this is called Bracket Racing. The slower car (the Audi TT) gets a head start. The Mazda is supposed to wait until his light turns green before he goes. It's all based on the time you "dial in", or visibly put on your car, which is the time you estimate your car will run.

The car that runs the closest to their dial in wins. The Mazda was just doing what he was supposed to. And that TT is a Quattro, look at the small badge on the right of the grill ;-)
