don't mean to sound like i'm bashing on the trailblazer or you but I liked to do this same thing in my 2005 TB and I managed to destroy 2 differentials doing the same thing, and those are not cheap to fix, luckly mine was under warranty but it would have cost me about $1,200 to fix it, so i'd be careful
