nope that was a definate crunch. he didnt wait long enough with the clutch in . its not the car, the driver was out of practice

It sounds like that because the gears are not syncronized! Stop with the stupid comments about grinding the gears! This is how the car is, its not damaging.. it just SOUNDS that way.

Thank you....I think that is because it was still on the 6 volt system, that and the 1st and 2nd gears are not syncronized on those models...hence the 'grinding' sound...thats how they sounded originally from the factory...by todays standards they DO sound 'ill', lol.
