  • suena como guitarra

  • You should work on your position... it's very sloppy.

  • @bloodbaymare let him play the instrument the way he feels comfortable playing it.

  • @NewToViolin I was merely making a suggestion. The guy can play however he likes and do whatever the hell he wants. As someone who started learning to play the violin before I could even read, I understand the importance of having good position. It REALLY does affect the tonality and the quality of your playing. Everyone should want to improve themselves, and by working on a more correct position, this guy could really improve his sound. The effects are hiding the flaws of his playing.

  • @bloodbaymare I know what you were doing and i honestly don't care much for how long you've been playing. It's the passion you put into it. If you put you entire heart into what your playing, i don't care what position your in. You'll get your point accross. I didn't mean the reply in an offensif way. You simply seemed very criticle and well...mean. I should of specified that. Sorry. (btw, this is coming from a someone who could play an instrument befor he could read as well)

  • @NewToViolin Perhaps I was being critical, but if the poster doesn't like that, then he doesn't have to post videos to YouTube, or he can disable comments. Posting YouTube videos is just asking for criticism. I may have been "rude" but this guy posted a video titled "Kick Ass Electric Violin Experiment," and called his playing "Ass kicking." This seemed pretentious to me, so I didn't care so much if I came across as rude or not. He's an adult, I'm pretty sure he can handle it.

  • @NewToViolin You can have all the passion in the world for music, but that doesn't mean your music will be GOOD in the eyes of other people. Since he's posting a YouTube video for everyone else to see, I assume he cares about the opinions of other people. If he wants to better himself, I suggest he work on his position. You should take care to make sure you're learning to play the violin properly. Bad habits are harder to break than just learning the right way in the first place is.

  • @bloodbaymare i agree 100% with what your saying. Don't get your panties up in a bunch...lol

  • @NewToViolin @NewToViolin Really? Because saying "If you put your entire heart into what you're playing, i don't care what position you're in" doesn't really sound like 100% agreement. I guess you just don't have a viable argument because you know nothing about playing the violin, and now you're back pedaling, acting like you have agreed with me all along when in fact, you haven't.

P.S. My panties are just fine.

  • @bloodbaymare lol your right, i know fuck all about violin..i just bought one 3 days ago. An i still stick to that argument that if you put your heart into it idc what position your playing in. lol. I'd rather see someone be horrible at playing any instrument yet Loving and enjoying it instead of someone with perfect technique but looks like he was forced to play it and would rather be doing something else.

P.S. I'm really doubting that at the moment..

  • @NewToViolin Lol I know I'm right. :) There needs to be a balance between passion and technique. You can have all the heart in the world, but if you don't know shit about your instrument, or how to play it properly, it doesn't matter, you'll suck no matter what. I should know, I'm very, VERY passionate about my playing and have gone too long without lessons, and even though I have great position, there are flaws in my technique that are holding me back.

P.S. Trolling you is fun. 8D

  • @bloodbaymare i never spoke against the fact that you need balance. Simply said idc if you do or don't. Anyways... I'm done with this pointless argument.

    P.S. i can tell :3

  • Thats a CR Design...

  • thats awesome! is this the wav4? does it come with a bow and case? would u recomend this as a good electric violin? and are you using an effects pedal?

sorry about all the questions hahaha but after seeing you play it it makes me interested in buying one.

  • Thanks a lot. I managed to find this NS Design 5 string violin used. It was pre wave 4. I really like it. I was using a gutar effects pedal that has multiple effects. I ended up buying a cheepie ($50) bow from Shar. It works fine. I would highly reccomend NS design instruments. Top notch!

  • @waynefagerlund thank youu very very much for the help! i realy appreciate it.

    keep up the awesome playing:)

  • why are you holding the bow the wrong way???

  • he's not?? lots of people play it like that....

i dont but i know people that do, its just easier for them

  • Thats awesome man, and i really like that violin :D

  • Thank you very much. I like that violin more than many acoustics that I've played. It rocks. I can only get better.

  • i've only played two acoustic violins and i like the very much, but i have to say mi soul eagers for an electric violin, so i can plug my zoom pedalboard and experiment with sounds, after all isnt what music is all abouit? experiment with everything you can :D

    Good luck man

  • Thanks for the kind words.

  • VERY COOL!!
