@ssips720 Actually if you rode you would know, it's a must, if you hit a large bump while changing lanes or what not she would bump right off the bike.. this system is on over 500 dogs world wide and worked great ! Thanx !!!

If you lay that bike down it will drag her behind it. Will she not sit still on the bike without it?

@alvarez9737 Hey, actually the way it works is if we ever did go down, the way I designed the K9 Tankpad is that it's attached to her via a ring that will tear off, so if we did go down I would grab her like a football and we separate from the bike.. we ride dirt bikes with this same set up not the tank pad, but the same leash system 9 yrs now and it's kicked butt !

Great Video, but, I have one suggestion for your dog's safety. I think you might want to have the dog wear a harness to attach her to the bike, so that if something happens and she starts to fall, she won't hang herself with the collar around her neck. Other than that... REALLY COOL!!! Happy riding and stay safe.

@8kristine Hey Kristine.. thanx much, she actually learned with the harness back in 2001 rode that way for a years, now she rather roll the collar and she actually can't hang, as 60%of her body sits on my seat, the K9 tankpad just keep her front part on the tank, we have over 50,000 miles now with this set up and have sold about 500 of these to others around the globe, it's a blast seeing dogs ride !!!

@idecchi she does, if I grab my gear or pull out the bike she goes crazy.. her 2nd fav thing to do, first is eat.. then ride then fetch her easy grab disc, she's a fun dog.. luvs the dirt bikes and jet ski's too ! O and Kayaking, but for sure surfing in warm water.. !

@allaussiedownunder Hey there, sorry so late.... I got them from the swap meet many years ago.. but her first pair back in 2002 I took a pair of swim goggles and cut the nose strap then used a tiny zip tie, I still have them too.. they rocked !

That is Awesome! Where did you get the pad for the tank? I ride with my dog but I ride passenger and she rides in a pouch at my side. Although she's quite happy there I'd like to try this one day, I think she'd enjoy!

@ShieAyla HI ya.. KIapet.com it's called a K9 Tankpad ! It's more fun for sure ! I started her in a back pack, but this way I can keep and eye and hand on her ! Thanx !
