wow i'm ashamed for not knowing about this band any sooner. I saw them play this in Philadelphia last night and they made my jaw drop. keep in mind i went to see my friends who were playing before them. awesome awesome awesome.
This particular listener loves the beat of this song, but finds the lyrics rather annoying. I think this song would be better if it were just instrumental.
My 29yr old son turned me on to this group. I'm so happy he did. I tried to turn him on to some old school stuff but he already knew them & sent me copies from his own collection. Age gap is bullshit. They made good shit then, they make good shit now.
Well Duh..it always depends upon the listener. The point is some people get stuck in a time warp & only can listen to oldies & say things like,"they don't make music like they used to".Then you have some folks who won't listen out side of their race or culture.I have found good music in almost every genre and decade.
yeap it's called music for areason. I can get into the classics as much as today. I'm an 80's child and I still listen to zepplin, hendrix, and floyd. And what's so suprising is that i'm black. i'm universal when it comes to culture. Actually being this way is what makes me cool to most people. The only thing I have a grudge against is some of the mainstream rap that's played on the radio.
I too am Black.Back in the 50's I was a Negro.LOL Hard to find brotha's into rock etc. Zepplin was the greatest. Check out a group called "yes". As far as rap, I like alot of the beats but I'm turned off by negative lyrics. No bitches or Hos in my family, just women deserving of love & respect.
@lilmanal03 Over Rated? Back in the 60s when they were starting out , They were considered the Black sheep of musicians . Took 30 40 years to people to finally relize what a great core of musicians they were . So much ahead of the Time . Im white BTW and i said Black . Music Knows no race .
@Div303 just because it took a very long time for them to be recognized doesnt mean they aren't overrated. it doesn't mean they suck either cuz they don't but i think they've been elevated past their actual musical value.
Anybody know of any other artists that are like this...Deffinitly like the outloud album these kats did...

I heard they cheaped out on the doors and just recycled 3 throughout the entire clip.

My house will have 999 front doors like this video before people actually get to the main part of the house. And I wont scrimp on 3 doors and repeat
dctim 3 years ago
that would suck if you lost your keys :P
even worse when you just get out of the house and finished locking up and figured out you forgot something inside.
waleedq 2 years ago 2
fuck that, just think of the size of the keyring. For security, every door woulod have to have a separate lock!
dctim 2 years ago 2
Just make all the doors with new technology. so you have to put your hand on it to reconise your prints or it scans your eyes. would be easier....
sparten316 2 years ago
good idea but you put too much thought into it, haha

Common, Mos Def, The Roots, just mainly artis with a positive flow.

I'll give them a look. I saw your channel & left a comment. You've got a nice list of favorites. Common has earned some recognition as an actor also.

Serves to illustrate what can happen when great artists dare to cross boundries. Some of my friends cried when they saw it.

your friends are pretty odd
goldtapfinger 2 years ago
Some of them might be odd but they're all kool people. None of them would spend time to write negative comments on line.

@abSOULuteD yeah mainstream rap is horrid.
TheLovesoul1 1 year ago
@abSOULuteD That's because all the mainstream CRAP wants to do is make us look bad, and talk down everyone else involved.
That kind of music isn't good for anyone, yeah? -Also has a feeling he totally knows where he's coming from.-
Aisua 1 year ago
@abSOULuteD I 100% agree with your whole statement, although i think pink floyd is overrated. and im black too
