@lancer2589 they release the excess pressure in the intake pipe created by the turbos. it only releases when u let off the gas and shifting so that you don't have unnecessary pressure going into ur engine so tht the engine and turbo last longer

@lancer2589 when the turbo pauses as in a gear shift or just reving ur motor the pressure causes the blades in the turbo to spin backward the blow off just releases the pressure to prevent that

@unknownhp1 all i got to say to you is....first off 3600 not 4k....thats what mine tips the scales at...and thats with 100 pounds of dynomat and a 6 speed instead of a 5 speed. second a single turbo unmodified motor low psi mustang would put a minimum of 350hp to the ground (prolly around 5psi) giving 15% drive train loss puts it at 400 hp flywheel. you run 8 psi like most people start with your around 400 to the ground. which is good for low 12s. rice that....

@emokiddy666 and what facts do you have to support this? yes its heavier then any rice burner but im not sure on why it makes a difference between turbo or supercharger because of the weight of the car. there are plenty of "big" muscle cars with turbos that have no trouble with quick spool and mass power. just sayin :)

on a twin turbo setup do the two turbos link up with some sort of Y pipe which then goes into the intercooler etc etc
