And there's always some pleb who can't resist saying BNP, let me say, the fact we have been austere with our budgets in local campaigns has actually had a positive effect on the public. Someone said to a candidate in our area the fact we spent so little, yet put on a decent campaign regardless, has meant we have wiped the floor with other professional career politicians from other parties, who of course are piling £6,000, £7,000 or £8,000 into their campaigns.

To answer some of the criticisms on this video, firstly the point of relating some of these issues to local level is because many of them are EU controlled and affect our everyday lives. For example: the argument of whether our wheelie bins are empited on a weekly or fortnightly basis is part of an EU landfill directive, another example: putting energy saving lightbulbs in our lights is part of an EU survey for an ecological dwelling. These are local issues whether you like it or not.

The new lightbulbs have been prooved to be dangerous to health, not that Brussels cares about our health. It would rather listen to big pharma lobyists.

The un-elected EU commission have banned herbal remedies in their latest diktat. Plants that Europeans have been using for thousands of years (for free) now all need an expensive license. Sign the Avaaz petition !

@nmssis - Thx for the warning, UKIP's still a work in development, I suspect it's just a battering ram with which England can attack the European Union rather than anything more, at least at the moment. The Tea Party always struck me as a Republican Party trojan horse right from the start, the real problem y've got is that Capitol Hill's ruled by the Corporate Sector via campaign election funding. Unless u stop that the USA's politics is dead.

The citizenry does not care. whitehouse releasing a fake birth cer..so fake it's not even funny. the dollar is being pumped out like sewage water. our Constitution has all but eroded hence Civil Liberties are hanging by a thread. Fed, State and local gov'ts are all mostly fascist.

But most of all the Fed Res is controlling everything and masses do not see that. Yeah..Over!

Appaling mess of a ppb

Apart from the start where Farage talks about a local government issue, i.e. civil service executive greed at the Town Halls, the rest is a ppb about national government, what the hell has the Armed Forces' budgets, national anti-smoking legislation, the European Union, income tax, immigration, the state of the economy, foreign aid, etc. got to do with City, Borough & County elections??
