This was not made by Nintendo and Rare, but instead by HiGame. There are many pointless SNES to NES pirate games that have been made, like Super Mario World NES. I really don't understand why anyone would make one, since the games are hard to find and the creator would not make much money off of it.

i,ve beat the game thanks the helpfull use of the great advented savestate funktion wich help me out of all preoblems.

so if you can,t beat each level at one time than i recommend savestate. alltrough if my pc is switch off , than all savestate will be lost.

OK, I just recently played this. It's even worse than I thought. The hit detection is HORRID, and is among the worst I've ever seen. Often, I die in the most unfair times. I don't blame the video creator for loading savestates often.

Oh, and it manages to preserve one of DKL and DKL2's worst glitches, and multiplies it tenfold: If you fall faster than the screen can keep up, you lose a life. Try this on the "N" in Mainbrace Mayhem.

Anyway, the title, ship 1, and rigging music sound very official, but the map screen music is just... failure.

donkeykoncountry 2 comes graphicely more closer to the snes version than donkeykongland 2 for the gameboy ,it ieven have,s animation at the end of each level,but it is just a shame that there are only 3 levels in the game and not 4o levels includding the bonuslevels etc,,,alltrough the sound from donkeykongland 2 are much better than this one..

I personally wouldn't know about the exact schematics of the sound, but I know that a lot of it was Square Waved. Now that I think on it the only decent tune that's stood the test of time and remixing is the Super Mario Brothers Music (Overworld).

You found the NES version of the sequel huh? That's cool. I remember seeing that on nesplayer.com's pirate game section. The soundtrack translation is definitely better here, since the music tracks are full-length (unlike NES DKC). It's sucks that there's only 3 levels, but the video is still appreiciated.
