This camera is absolute fucking bullshit. Does anybody else not notice how choppy the frames are when clips are being panned? It's enough to make you want to gouge your eyes out with a rusty spoon. I bought this camera 2 months ago and I have tried absolutely everything to get shit happening. The MTS files hardly even played back on my pc (running XP) to start with. I tried everything, even PP CS4 and Vegas Pro didn't make a difference. I'll be sticking with my Sony 2002 model TRV18. Cheers.

iBellix, I really need your help...I just bought a canon HG 21...try to record some video clips and everytime the objects are moving then the movies will get flicking or blurring. I did try to set the shutter speed to 1/100...1/250...1/500...but the movies still get flicking whenever the objects are moving...please help me !!

I noticed that your pan shots are kinda choppy and I realized that when you import it into iMovie there is an option to import at full size. I you do this the file size will be huge but the video wont be choppy. Hope this helps. I love my vixia

No, it looks more like he recorded those panning shots at 24p, but didn't remove pulldown from them.

theres a lot of noise in the low light, just like my shitty standard definition camera lol. And the vids kinda lagging, not cos my comps not good enough to watch in hd, i think its cos iMovie screwed up the video and isnt good enough to process hd video. Theres even a lot of noise in high lighting. I think u wasted a lot of money on a shitty camcorder. I doubt u did any proper research, just got the most expensive one that has a mic input. Theres so many more cameras that have that one feature.
