I have two films shot over Sydney both at night. One in 2007 which was a huge gold light hovering above the trees travelling towards us. Just as we were about to film it going over our heads it shot up sideways to the stars. Filmed it for 15 mins until it was a tiny speck among the stars. Filmed the other in 2009 which just sat in the sky over Sydney. After filming for over an hour got bored and went to bed. It was gone by 6am.

yes I still have the footage. I have moved to UK and it is in with my personal effects which I will get in a couple of weeks. Not very good footage as I didn't have a tripod. I watched it until it went up to a galaxy. If I were still there I could point to the direction it headed.

I've noticed that a lot of the new UFO sightings have this same craft shape. I saw one myself just like this in Wareham Massachusetts on the 4th of July 2008. I wonder if these aliens have created new models of their ships. They had a lot of sauser shaped ones in the past and now mostly these pyrimid shaped ones. Their new 2009 models have arrived!

i keep seeing this in england, yorkshire. i don't have a camera so cannot get in close, but i've ruled out it being venus/star as some nights its there, some nights it not, and some nights its in different place or moving ver very gradually slowly.

think you need to buy a camera - very cheap from currys or john lewis these days - even tesco's are selling cameras for £120 roughly.

could be just a star, the weird shape could be because of the structure of lenses used, everybody familiar with photography knows that if lenses are poorly constructed and object is out of focus then it becomes polygonial or distorted.

Stick an infra red filter on your cam and try recording the area with your cam on a tripod or something similar..
