@dkd108 Best advice i can give you is to create your own party instead of using the existing one and roll for better stats. then run around levels 1-3 until you can get everyone to a high enough level, and have some gold to buy better weapons and armor.

This was done on an emulator. I saw that the stairs on the level 5 map lined up with the serpent on level 16 so i used the Level code to jump there. May put up another video about whats happening on level 20 soon :)
The address is 008D. Typing in 0 will give you level one and typing in 1 will give you level 2 and so on. And on a side note at 1:13 the message that pops up for like half a second says "You have defeated the dragon! Your party leaves the dungeon with 5762 pieces of gold, 0 exp points, and exp level 6" I have no clue why u can only see it for such a short time though.
Man that game was impossible to beat and that ending let alone the look of the serpent was not worth the effort. the game was fun but damn they did a terrible job with the ending.
I never did finish that game :-(

omg that ending would of made me jump off the roof if i actually passed that game as a kid :S the disapointment would of drove me mad lol
