go to americana and they are littered with there beauty and history in so many musicians....we have doves for that...m62....the road down to preston,,,salford,,,and were i live "winter hill" im a peninne boy from Bolton these guys are a national treasure in my eyes, and to think, the first time i heard them was in the early 90's ..Space Face "my god its full of stars"...god bless xx

Their songs always change my mood, whether for better or worse. There's not a song by Doves that hasn't touched me somehow. I guess this is what we call pure talent, right?
The Choir really works great with the band, in my opinion.

I got The Last Broadcast and Lost Souls for my birthday, so they are doing the rounds. Loved this performance - looking forward to seeing them at Manchester Central soon.

Thanks for the comment! Having just installed a CD Changer in my old Jaguar XJ40 these two albums are getting a good airing on my journeys between London and Hampshire. Their studio versions are something else and this band is something special - and I'm speaking as someone who's partner sings in the London Bulgarian Choir. Regards, Ivor
