@maniacalone80 "Issues" ? i went from using my technics 1200s turntables to the vestax vci-300 and had no issues at all, so they should be as responsive as your cdj's !!!

@maniacalone80 Two things will help you. Clean you VCI 300 regularly, especially if you smoke and max out your ram in your computer. I went from 2 gigs to 8 gigs in my mac and the difference is well worth it. A lot of companies have ram on sale for the Holidays so jump on a sale like I did. It WILL STEP YOUR GAME UP!

so to get the best sound out of the vci 300 you need a mac im useing a toshiba satellite l45-s7423

you don't need a mac, i have an old gateway 730 laptop and the vci-300 works great, u need a fast processor mines is 3.0 ghz and 1.7 mb memory . the vci-300 has a build in sound card that works great

mac or pc , they are both computers with system specs. And if they match then its all gonna work fine .Dont fall into that mac joke .The only difference is solid state hard disk drives .If you opt for pc then be sure u dont have to many bullcrap installed on it . I use a dedicated pc for djing in the club were i work . Without other software installed ! Works Great !

To invert the crossfader so that its "back to front" just go into settings on "itch" and go to "mixer" then "tick" the box where it says "reverse crossfade"

its as simple as that !!!

How do you get your crossfader hooked up back to front? Nice scratchin. I cant stratch at all and cant figure out how to do it and you make it look so easy. What's the secret behind it especially when using vci - 300 coz i have one..

Yeah, thats how i have to have it because when i first got my turntables back in 88 and learned to scratch i rigged them up the wrong way round and by the time i noticed that everyone had it the other way it was too late and i couldnt switch back lol

are you using a mac ? if so is mac better to use for these sort of usage with dj software than a xp laptop. seems better performance but to test mac myself some time soon.

short answer is yes to both questions, but it depends on what your used to using, ive always used a mac :) but i have run the software on a pc laptop running vista and it worked just as well, but there is an issue with using the software "serato itch" with a pc with a "athlon" processor , hope that helped ?
