so, i guess it has to be a not accurate weapon becouse it you are shoting from a helecopter and the target is not too far, for example no more than 200m, becouse if it is accurate you will never get the target becouse the helecopter is flying and the gun is shaking by the moving of the helecopter, so it have to do the shot with not accurate fire but fast for covering the place with a target (cars,people,animals XD and light armored apc)

The US has even gone as far as to replace their full-auto M16s with 3-round burst models. You also have to consider the distance and speed the helicopter is at in order to hit your target.
