If you don't know about the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints (Mormons), then go to their Mormon.org website to ask and have answered any questions you have
@LDSdevilboy4193 and also go to utlm.org and there you can seen and hear what Mormon.org won't tell you. You can also go to hotm.tv where you can see and hear videos of Christianity and Mormonism being compaired and the current series is a step by step investigation into the history of The Book of Mormon, and why it came to be. It explains why there are many different versions of the first vision and why the dates don't match, why no-one has seen the gold plates and other things. hotm.tv
Mormons use the bible just like they use the book of Mormon. In their articles of faith it clearly states that they do. Also, they do not worship Joseph smith. They honor and remember him just as any Christian remembers and honors any past prophet. Jesus Christ, is their savior just as any other Christian religion believes.
Theeagerburger I have just removed one of your post and a post from leeuniverse because in both of them you each make PERSONAL comments on each other. The very reason why I was making thsi video in the first place, rebuking James The Preacher for being without love! Now if you cannot have a reasonable debate without resorting to calling names, even if the person makes a personal attack on you 1st, then don't take part or you'll be blocked!
@Theeagerburger Your "christianity" shows so well by your words. Further, your so-called "proof" against us is the ACTUAL "lies". I know because I've been in your religions, and I've been an anti-mormon. So, your "intellect" and spirit doesn't impress me. It is you who follows the devil by your own wicked words and false judgements. Even further, if you think we aren't the "true" servants, read Christ's own words in Mark/Luke 9 about other believers not with you. You know not what you do.
@leeuniverse I have just removed one of your post and a post from The Eager Burger because in both of them you each make PERSONAL comments on each other. The very reason why I was making thsi video in the first place, rebuking James The Preacher for being without love! Now if you cannot have a reasonable debate without resorting to calling names, even if the person makes a personal attack on you 1st, then don't take part or you'll be blocked!
@leeuniverse "you can run but you cant hide" lol I see growing up takes more time for some, you sent me a message filled with filthy words and plagued with the devils hatred and you say Im running because I blocked you, I told you zero tolerance for prpfanity, after reading your comments It seems you need serious help beyond the word of God because it does'nt seem to be working for you, the center of Christianity is love but you brush it off and attack people like you have the right to judge...
@leeuniverse .... well see if you recognise these words..... "Judge not and you will not be judged" " condemn not and you will not be condemned " is it so difficult for people to preach the word of God without resorting to throwing stones " he amoung you who is without sin may cast the first stone" no one has any excuse for this behavior, grow up and walk the refiners fire, cleanse yourself of pride and you will not only see more clearly but also be a light for those in darkness!!
@Dafrogie Your words apply to the anti-mormons. If I judge I judge evil & evil done to others. I'm not the one judging good people who believe differently. But I will most certainly stand against bearing false witness, unfair, unrighteous degrading & those who engage in it. I follow Christ's own words in Mark/Luke 9 and the scriptures of Romans 14, anti-mormons however do not. They contend against other believers offending them, they claim others are of the devil when they are of the light.
Mormons, Muslims, JehWitn, and Religious people are doomed to Hell and are of their father : the devil, you race of vipers the big fat devil will impale you with his pitchfork, that is how he pays your faithfulness. . . good luck
@rockethead555 I find it best when talking of the Devil, that we don't use steroetypical images of him. Else He becomes a comical figure who people become less identifiable with adn He becomes less believable. Then people consider Him a Joke and by not taking Him seriously, they fall easily into his traps.
muhammad is of the devil, the mormons are of the devil , and all heathen people such as JW, etc. Jesus said : you are of your father the devil and his deeds you want to do, he told the pharisees, the modern day clergy are the pharesees of today and the sons of Ismael are doomed to hell because they love bloodshed
Even more, in Romans 2 God directly states that even those who don't know Him in this life, will get a chance to and WILL still be saved according to their hearts and good works. Thus, it is clear that according to the "Higher Law" that Christ gave, believers are to ONLY fight against and condemn EVIL, NOT other believers or non-believers, no matter the faith or otherwise, as well are to only be critical of those WITHIN the faith who do evil or are as wolves.
Even further, in Mark/Luke 9 Christ actually condemns the Apostles for attempting to condemn other believers, who believe on Him, but do not have His Authority, nor his Gospel, that they are as Little Children. In fact, Christ has very harsh words for those who would "offend" even these children. Those chapters directly condemn anti-mormonism and anti-mormons, especially the Christian ones. Christian anti's are directly contending against God Himself by trying to destroy mormonism.
There is another issue however as to your Biblical usage of your point. Actually, if you read the NT carefully, you will see that NO leader of the Church, not even Christ himself was critical of ANY religion nor ANY believer. In fact, Paul was once arrested for preaching against the religion of Diana, but no witnesses were found, and they were released. However, Christ and the Apostles DID preach against their "Brethren", that is fellow Jews. Your Magician was a Jew.
@leeuniverse I often hear from LDS that They have the name Jesus in their Church! Did not the sons of Sceva use the name of Jesus? Why are they not considered Christians or Mormons? They used the name of Jesus, it must make them right! Unless of course, it's a family issue, which is why the Demon kicked the crap out of them rather than yeald to the Holy Name!
@leeuniverse Christ was very critical of The Jewish authorities. He called them "Vipers, Whitewashed Tombs, Full of Dead Mens Bones!" He was VERY critical of Others! Christ came to The Jews, not the Gentiles. So he did not speak of their false gods because he came to the Jews and was focused on Them! But He did uphold The Law and indoing so, took a stance in saying All other religions are False! By making such clear statements as He did, and living The Holy Life that he did!
@REVPIPSTER Read what I said again, I already said your first part. As to the other part, even when Christ was gone and Peter got the revelation to take the Gospel to the Gentile and not only the Jews there are NO examples of Apostles condeming others not with them, save Jews who pervert the Faith. Show me one word about other religions in the NT??? I don't disagree that he would say they are false, just pointing something out. Further......
@REVPIPSTER ..... Read Mark/Luke 9 very carefully. Christ condemns the Apostles for trying to condemn the Faith of other Believers who are as children, but NOT WITH THEM. In other words, Christ was talking about other believers who had not His Authority, and His Truths, but where believers in Him Trying to believe on Him their very best they could. Thus, if you believe YOU have the Truth, Christ himself condemns you for your acts against Mormonism and other Christian Faiths.
@REVPIPSTER .... There is another problem..... Even if you believe it is a biblical charge to "attack Faith" rather than proclaim it, defend it, and preserve it, you as an anti-mormon bear false witness in almost everything you say about mormonism and mormons. Thus, you are much more on the Devils errand than on Gods. God's true servants do not bear false witness of others, even to be critical of them. It's one of the Ten Commandments, & anti-mormons break it in almost everythign they say.
@leeuniverse Firstly I am gladyou acknowledge that Mormonism is another faith, because many Mormons claim to be Christians. I am not Anti Mormon as you put it, I am anit-mormonism. I take a stand against what I consider to be an attack on My Faith, Christianity. The First vision makes it clear that The Mormon belief is that ALL Christian Churches are Wrong, their beliefs are Wrong and Their Teachers Corrupt! Mormonism fired The First Shot and attacked Christianity first. I'm just responding.
@REVPIPSTER Boring.... That first shot was uttered by Christ Himself, so argue with him. Further, He said similar things in the New Testament towards the "traditional" Jews of the time. So, what makes you and yours so much better to not deserve the same kind of chastisement from Christ 2000 years later??? Also, a statement of belief doesn't change the facts. We believing you are false does not equate to you bearing false witness of others, nor having ministry's AGAINST others. Non-Biblical
@leeuniverse According to JS, it was uttered by The Mormon Jesus (depending on which First Vision version you are choosing to believe in.) The picture of Jesus painted in Mormonism is a different Jesus than that of The Bible. A Jesus who is one god among many gods and is the brother of Lucifer. Which is different from who The New Testament reveals him to be like. Also Jesus didn't tell the Jews not to mistrust the Torah and to follow a religion that was different from what The Bible taught!
@REVPIPSTER You should learn the difference between what YOUR RELIGION tells you the Bible teaches compared with what the Bible actually teaches. I was a mormon while in your religions LONG before I even knew mormonism existed. I knew your religions didn't practice, was not accurate, etc. etc. what the Bible actually said. So, get that malarky out of your head that mormonism doesn't follow the Bible. We follow it FULLY, you do not.
@Theeagerburger I agree, TEB, but most of them don't realized they are doing it. Most sincerely believe they are in the will of Father God. That's why with patience and long suffering and correct use of Scripture we but show them by our example, the true Jesus of The Bible. They have been taught Christians will attack and hate them. But we must demonstraite The Love of God to them. sow the seeds that will cause them to question the LDS and read The Bible. The Holy Spirit will do the rest!
@Theeagerburger "you can run but you cant hide" lol I see growing up takes more time for some, you sent me a message filled with filthy words and plagued with the devils hatred and you say Im running because I blocked you, I told you zero tolerance for prpfanity, after reading your comments It seems you need serious help beyond the word of God because it does'nt seem to be working for you, the center of Christianity is love but you brush it off and attack people like you have the right to judge
@Theeagerburger .... well see if you recognise these words.....
@leeuniverse Let me ask you a question. What makes you think that there was anything wrong woth The Original Teachings of The Early Church? Jesus told the people to go back to the original teaching. He told themto Do what the Jewish Leaders said, just not to copy what they did! The original scriptures were fine and nothing was wrong with them, but the gods of Mormonism introduce new scriptures that contradict Even The Old Testament which Jesus upheld!
@REVPIPSTER Christ chastised them on their teachings also. Christ also brought a NEW Gospel. He didn't eliminate the old, but he did put new wine into a new jar. And what you are speaking of when you say "early Church"? You don't follow the authority & teachings of the early church. You are of a man-made religion. WE are the original Church again. Further, there is no "contradictions" between mormonism, LDS scripture etc. with the Old. Only your perversions of us and scripture makes so.
@leeuniverse Your response to me is quite typical of someone who Keeps The Law. A self rightious attitude developes. Even when I was "Religious" I could not keep the whole 10 Commandents. I have never met a man who claims to be a Christian be they Mormon or not who haskept the Law. James who LDS love to qoute ref the need for faith and works, also said if you break 1 part of the Law, you have broken the Whole Law. That is why You need to be saved by Grace only coz We can't keep the Law at all!
@REVPIPSTER And your response is the typical anti-mormon bearing false witness ranting about mormons being "all about the law" rather than Grace. Further, I feel sorry for you that your standards and those around you are so LOW that you all can't keep the SIMPLE Ten Commandments. Well, you will go exactly where you belong at the end, because you expect so "little" of yourself. Do you expect so little from your children if you have any???
@leeuniverse Simple? Then you have truly missed the point. They are the hardest of all God's Laws to keep. I have broken in my life every single one of them. I could not help it I just did it. Even when I was religious, I found myself breaking The Law in one part or another. I take things others paid for, I tell lies, I commit adultery frequently because Jesus said if I look at a women and lust I commit adultery in my heart. What Good can I do? What do you do with your sin?
@REVPIPSTER You sure don't know your scriptures. The Ten Commandments is not the Higher Law Christ brought. In fact, the 10 were given to Moses by God when the people were not worthy to recieve the Higher Law. Or did you forget that. So, your trying to mix the two laws doesn't work, and was not your original statement, for you now change the line into the Higher Law. As to may "sins", I'm a Christian. I partake of the sacrament/atonement, repent, and daily renew my efforts to be as He Is.
@leeuniverse Hold on hold on hold on. If you are a Christian, then I have the right to contend for my faith and be critical of Your denomination. Because that means that that we are of the same faith. So by me given a reasoned defense for my beliefs and a critical analysis of ANOTHER Christian group is justified. Just as Christ was Critical of Fellow Jews who taught false doctorine, then I am within my rights to critic Mormonism. So don't accuse me of attacking other faiths, Christian!
@leeuniverse So you take the sacrament and daily renew you efforts? So you do break the Commandments then. When the Laws and Ordinances are not broken, there is no need for a Sacrifice to cover what is broken. Because if it is not broken, it does not need fixing! If you do obey ALL the Laws and ordinances of The Gospel of Christ, then you would not need to repeant of anything. And then you come on here and accuse those who reject Mormonismof being sinners and not keeping the Law? Pharisee!
@leeuniverse You are so caught up in your works and rituals and beliefs that you too will become a god, that you have become like the man, James the Preacher who I was denoucing for claiming to be a Christian and yet was preaching condemnation at Mormons rather than showing The Love of Christ.
The Bible says Eph 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
@leeuniverse The point of the Law was to show them they were not worthy. Let us look at some of the 10 commandments shall we? Have you ever stolen anything? I have it makes me a thief. What about you?
Have you ever told a lie? I have (you have accused me of that already) So I am a liar. What about you?
Have you ever committed adultery? Jesus said if you look at a women and lust after her you commit adultery in your heart! So I am an adulterer, what about you?
@leeuniverse I will stand before God in Judgement and I have broken 3 of the 10 commandments. Will there be any good work that I can do to save me? Tell me what these higher laws are that your Mormon Jesus introduced to The Jews that could save even the worst of sinners? Then tell me why you are not following them so that you have to keep taking the atonement and repenting of all of your wrong doings! If it is possible for Men to make themselves right by God by their own works.
Finally, the first anti-mormon to actually acknowledge that immoral anti-mormons are not good for the cause, recognizing what the Bible states on the matter. Of course, you actually need to take it even further, not simply to the Street Protesters, but to ALL anti-mormonism. Why? Because ALL anti-mormonism does nothing but bear false witness of mormonism. Only like .01% of those who are critical of mormonism do so "morally".
@leeuniverse I think you have made a lot of sweeping statements here but in reality there is a lot more to this than what you are saying, or rather not saying.
First, as recorded consistantly in the 8 or 9 differing versions of the 1st vision by Joseph Smith, the only consistant statement through out is that the angel or god that appeared to JS, said that All Christians, their beliefs and teachers were wrong. So that sets Mormonism apart from Historic & Biblical Christianity. Anti-Christian!
@leeuniverse Secondly, Christ rebukes the Disciples for rebuking other Believers in Him, from outside of the immeadiate circle, who were doing what He said Believers should do! I think that the key here is that They were ACTUAL believers, in the Same Jesus as the Disciples followed. Not a different Jesus, as the one Mormonism claims to follow. St Paul wrote about different Jesus's and different gospels and Mormonism has both a different Jesus and gospel.
@REVPIPSTER You pervert the truth to make such judgements. First, if they were "true" believers the Apostles would have had no reason to condemn them. The Apostles were correct in their judgement, just not correct fully so, because Christ told them that even "children" as this are His. Further, there is no million and one Jesus's. There is only One Christ. All the characteristics of Christ of the Bible, LDS follow. Your perversions of our Faith are not our Faith and thus another Jesus.
@leeuniverse Well you have the Jesus of The Jehovahs Witnesses who was Michael The Archangel. You have The Jesus of The Bahi's who is one of 7 manifistations. You have the Jesus of the Spiritists who is an advanced medium, Then you have the Jesus of Christianity and the Jesus of Mormonism.....but I have just asked you 3 questions about these two.
St Paul spoke to the Corinthians about false teachers bringing a different Jesus and Gospel. So there are many Jesus's in curculation!
@REVPIPSTER There is not one thing about the "LDS Jesus" compared to the Biblical Jesus that is different. Name one..... Name one thing we don't believe about Jesus from the Bible? Name one thing we "add"? You should learn not to confuse your "creeds" with being the Bible. Our Trinity is still the Trinity. Your religion creating your own version and us having our own doesn't somehow mean "unBiblical". All of our Trinity is in the Bible. Your blindness again doesn't make unbiblical.
@leeuniverse Then let us compare The Mormon Jesus to The Biblical Jesus. Where does the Bible say Jesus was born, who was His Father and how was he concieved? The Tell me Where thw Book of Mormon says He was Born? Who does Mormonism say was His Father and how was He concieved?
@leeuniverse The Trinity is not mentioned in The Bible. What is The Mormon doctorine of The Trinity? Do you know what The Christian Doctorine of The Trinity is? Lets see if the terms were are using are actually the same terms. You claim to be Christian but you accuse me of Attacking Other Faiths. St Paul regularly denounced Those coming into the Church teaching False doctorines. So as you claim to be Christian, I can comment. What is The Trinity to you? Let see if we have the same Trinity?
@leeuniverse Here is another question to test if The Jesus of The Bible and The Jesus of Mormonism are The Same or if there are any differences? Before coming to Earth and being born of the Virgin Mary, Where was he before and what was he doing? What were his origins?
@REVPIPSTER The mormons wanted to mock the real Jesus by making up a mormon jesus, they are as satanic as they come, they talk about joseph smith the prophet of satan in church more so then Jesus Christ
I served a mission and never once did I or any of my companions tell anyone Joseph did more than Jesus. Everything Joseph did was to point every human soul to Jesus and his atoning sacrific for all mankind. I think Joseph did more than any man because he restored God's church to the earth, but only Jesus could suffer and bleed from every pore for all of our sins.
@action1jackson Apart from asking if you told people that every other Church was wrong and that The LDS Church was the ONLY true church on the face of the Earth.......Did you not know that Joseph Smith claimed that not even Jesus could Hold his Church together while the Latter Day Saints had not deserted Him? Have you seen that qoute from Joseph Smith?
@REVPIPSTER Maybe you should understand that my belief in the LDS church does not come from Joseph Smith but from God. I have read the book of mormon and felt the holy ghost and know that it is a real and true book written by prophets in the ancient americas who testified of jesus christ as our savior. I know the book is true and that God chose joseph to bring it to light. I know joseph smith was a prophet and he may not have been perfect but he was true and faithful to the end.
@action1jackson So your feelings proved that the Book of mormon was true? I got A feeling when I read the Koran and I can say that I am convinced that Millions of Muslims would testify to you that The Koran is True and Islam is the only true faith on Earth. What do you say to them?
@REVPIPSTER I think that there are truths in most all religions because God loves his children and wants them to live principles that will make him happy. He answers prayers and wants us to pray, fast, be chaste and clean. Muhammad was no doubt inspired by God. What I believe is that God still reveals truth today through a modern prophet and that Jesus Christ IS the truth, the way, and the light. The prophets testify and are living witnesses of him I have no doubt.
@action1jackson Can I ask what you do for the Church? You have served a mission, you said earlier. Do you hold The Priesthoods of Mormonism? Have you been through The Temple? How long have you been a member of the Latter Day Saints?
@REVPIPSTER Yes I hold the priesthood and my only calling as of now is home teacher which means monthly visit with a few assigned members to share a brief message and see how they are doing. I have been around the church all my life, it's when I was about 19 years old that I really prayed about and read the book of Mormon. I was about 21 when I left for a mission
@action1jackson it was obviously a good thing that you decided to pray about the Book of Mormon before you went on your mission, but did you do any research on it before you did that? Why is it that I have never heard a Mormon say you should pray about The D & C or Pearl Of Great Price to confirm them as The Word Of God? Are They The Word of God? I have prayed about the Book of Mormon AND The Bible and I felt God say only The Bible was. Should I pray about these other two also? Have you done it?
@REVPIPSTER That is an excellent question! I haven't done such research as to find geoligcal artifacts to prove that the book of mormon is true, only read and reread it a couple of times. I have however visited the hill cumorah where the plates were found and the sacred grove where joseph saw the father and the son and felt a very peaceful feeling about them. we tell people to pray about the book of mormon is because it is the keystone, if you receive confirmation of that the rest will follow
@REVPIPSTER And yes I have prayed about them and I think you can never go wrong praying to ask God for guidance and a spiritual confirmation that what you are reading is true.
@action1jackson Hi Action, long time no hear. How are you doing? I was just wondering a couple of things on what you said, How do you compare Islam to mormonism and it's relationship to Christianity? Was Islam an attempt by God and Jesus to Restore The Church in the Middle East as Mormonism is In the Americas?
@REVPIPSTER hey rev!! God loves his children so will always try and give them truth and light for they happiness. whether muhammad was a prophet i don't know. But many prophets have died and the church has fallen into apostasy. It has been a cycle. Some truths get changed. But as for now the Islam religion does not recognize Jesus as the savior. I personally believe that the priesthood keys were lost with the death of the original apostols and not restored again until Joseph Smith was called.
@action1jackson I am not doubting that you are not a sincere person, sincerely trying to serve God, but if your faith is based on a feeling when all of the other aspects of that faith have huge gaps in examination. there is no evidence for The Book of Mormon to be true. Not one of the cities has been found nor evidence for the great battles (just for starters) Yet the Bible that is miligned by the LDS is far more accurate. But LDS say "Feelings" prove it true. So who needs FACTS?
@action1jackson If you want to know how Faithful Joseph Smith was towards the end of his life, when the LDS say he was Martyred, go to UTLM.ORG and investigate LDS documents there.
@action1jackson Thanks for that testimony. 1000's of mormons would Identify with that. Can I ask you a couple of things? First are you aware of History of the Church, vol. 6, p. 408-409 and that claim Joseph made to have done more to hold The Church together then even Jesus did? And if you say that Mohammad was Inspired. Do Muslims need to convert to Mormonism? Is The Koran The Word of God equal to the Bible? So far as it is translated correctly or like The Book of mormon?
@PhilipMarcTrivett Never read that but I did read a quote from Brigham Young that said no man has done more for the salvation of mankind than Joseph Smith save Jesus Christ. And while the Koran is inspired the only one who can save us is Jesus the Christ, of which the Book of Mormon testifies. i believe many were inspired by god such as columbus and the formers of the constitution. Few were commanded by the Lord himself to write down their revelations.
@action1jackson Are we not talking about Scripture here though? Are you comparing and weighing up The Word Of God, The Covernants between God and Man which will lead men to redemption and Forgiveness (or in LDS minds - To Godhood) and you are comparing them with the King of Spain's desire to develope a trade route to the Indies or a group of rebels against the King of England trying to form a government after winning The War of Independance? Is that what is meant by 'all scripture is inspired'
@action1jackson Then is it any wonder that once Joseph Smith convinced his followers to doubt The Bible, then he was able to put in other stuff like The Book of Abraham and 9 different accounts of The First Vision, and plural marriage being essential for Godhood and Blacks not being allowed the Priesthood etc....etc!
@action1jackson I think what Joseph did was start a new brand of religion that used terms and scriptures which sounded Christian but taught something else. Even President Hinkley said Mormons follow a Jesus of This Dispensation, not of that which the Bible teaches and who Christians follow. So it is a different Jesus you teach and a different Scripture which trumps anything the Bible says if it disagrees with LDS writings. St Paul in Galatians warns about those coming with a different Jesus!
@REVPIPSTER cut and pasted from the book of mormon, when jesus appeared to the nephites. 3 nephi 15: 21-2221 And verily I say unto you, that ye are they of whom I said: Other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 22 And they understood me not, for they supposed it had been the Gentiles; for they understood not that the Gentiles should be converted through their preaching
Obviously they see the truth in my description of a cult from the Waco example and their instant defence is to kick back and attack Me the speaker. But that is a natural reaction for people who's life is connected with an organisation like the LDS. All I can say is "Go and check The Facts rather than judge the appearance of your critics!"
I am still amazed at how many LDS comment on my video, which is a call for opponants of Mormonism to treat Mormons with respect and human dignity, and they take it as an attack on the Mormon Church. I have had ONE mormon comment reconizing this, yet every other mormon has picked a fight with me accusing me of attacking them. I have even had personal attacks on my appearance (a normal cult tactic.) Next I'll be asked where my money comes from to finance my time while I do these videos!
how about you shave your hair nicely and brush you teeth first and then clean up your house..there you will use your time to something better instead of minding other church business. ttyl..
@olivehopoate The mark of a Christian is not what he is like on the outside but the Re-birth from within when a man is born again by the Spirit of God. How should I meet your approval? Shall I put on a shirt and tie? How can you see my house or my teeth on this video? You would throw out John The Baptist from the LDS Church You Hypocrite! From your mouth and hand comes judgement on others. You can't even see that this vid is against the James guy rather then the LDS but you are just like him!
@olivehopoate And let the Mormon Church stop sending it's missionaries around the world, telling Christians that their Churches are wrong and that Joseph Smith is the only Prophet we should listen too, and that He had done more than Jesus. When the 60,000 plus missionaries stop doing that and I'll not have one less reason to stand against the Mormon Church! But they won't so I won't!
In like manner, the Old world did not accept the God of Israel or that Moses was the prophet of the world. They considered him a prophet of Israel and they had their varying opinions on who's God truly dominated over all. It doesn't matter what their opinion is. Moses is not the prophet of the Israelites; he is the prophet of the World, if Jehovah is the great God, the one and only true author of our salvation. There are many reasons why modern Christianity differs from the restored version.
Why does it matter to YOU what Mormon's believe? Do you believe that you will appear more riteous in the eyes of God because you bash Mormons? I hope not because that is absurd. But I can't honestly see any other reason why you would want to bash someone else's beliefs.
Of course there's a devil at General Coneference. But they didn't like to be called as "devil", they prefers to be called as "Born Again Christian". You see, devils do anything to attack a religion. When was the last time you see 200 mormons outside your own church protesting?
They don't need to. The Mormon Church has 60,000 missionaries going door to door saying "Your church is Wrong! We are the only true Church on the face of the Earth! We have Jesus in our Name! We do good good good! Our Church is rich and We are blessed blessed blessed! Are you doing what we are doing? NO? Then you must be wrong! We obay The Laws and Ordinances, and you are not as Holy as WE are!" 60,000 knocking on our doors. No, Mormons don't attack anyone? (Pull the other one!)
@REVPIPSTER I had various missionaries coming to my door for 3 years and I had never heard them saying that. If they do, I will let you know. I wonder why Christianity is going downhill in the UK and LDS are still expanding here. Perhaps they do have guts to share their gospel while most religion just run a coffee mornings.
Do you believe that Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God and that the Church of Jesus Christ of The Latter Day Saints is the only true Church on the Face of The Earth?
@REVPIPSTER Don't know yet. I haven't asked God Himself yet. If God can confirm it, then I will believe. If no answer, then, he isn't a prophet and it doesn't mean I will have a right to spend the rest of my life hating a man who is dead over 150 years ago.
Well, I have met and heard from many countless missionaries who do claim that. I many people might claim to follow 'Prophets' and you need to test their claims of revelation against that of those existing in that faith to see if it matches that faith. Then you'd know if he is a false Prophet or not. The Bible says how to test a false prophet!
Also Whe a Missionary bares his testimony and says "it's The Only True Church", would that include The Baptists too?
Oh Mormons are passionate about what they believe. Well done...but it does not make them right. And why should I hate Joseph Smith? I don't hate him. I believe him to be a man who claimed to represent The Christian Godhead, but did not. His writings attacked The Church and all Christian beliefs from the Bible onwards. But I did not know the man adn I hold no personal malice to him but that I am naffed off having to work at clearing up the mess he caused!
But i am more concerned with lifting up Jesus Christ then putting down Joseph Smith! Jesus saved me and changed my life. Not being part of any 'church'!
@REVPIPSTER Then talk about Jesus and don't even mention Joseph Smith. Don't even talk about Mormonism. Try talking more of Jesus and the bible. Nothing more then you do a good job. Missionaries never ever mentioned about other religion to me (except for encouraged me to see the goods in them).
@REVPIPSTER Joseph Smith said he is part of Godhead? Where's the source of that claim? You're the first in my 10 years to say that. His writing did not attack all religions. Unless you're refering to what Jesus has said about all creed are near his lips but away from his heart.
Read what I said again and you'll see I never said he was apart of the Godhead.
When he was not building his own religion, JS was attacking other religions. Re-writing The Bible, without knowledge of Hebrew or Greek is attacking it! Like Islam, JS said, the Bible can't be trusted.....Here ...read this instead it is perfect! Joseph's words are very close to the Mormon Jesus, who is a different Jesus to the Christian Church and Bible!
Go to UTAH Light house Ministries. You'll see lots of historical LDS documents about what Joseph Smith and Brigham Young...and others had to say about their religion and The Christian Faith!
@REVPIPSTER Going to Light House Ministries is like asking me to visit a mosque to discuss catholics. Or visiting catholics for their evidences and opinion of muslims. Documents WON'T make you believe the church is true. The only document or source is God. All you need to ask Him. Nothing else.
The Lord is confident that all men who humble themselves and become as a little child will recognize the voice of the savior that many so profess to already know. The invitation is genuine and real... come and be part of the banquet prepared of the Lord... and dwell no more outside in the bone yard nibbling on the remains of the feast that was held long ago but has been lost due to Apostasy.
Well, I did this video to say that I disagreed with James The Preacher and the way he went about having ago at Mormonism and at Mormons.
But I 100% believe that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints is not the True Church on Earth and that Joseph Smith is the prophet of Mormonism. (only)
His writings and Teachings are in Conflict with The Bible. That's why JS had to come up with new stuff and say the Bible had been corrupted. If that is True...Where is the proof?
@REVPIPSTER Then why are you obsessed with a man that is dead over 150 years ago? Joseph smith isn't here anymore. So why are you complaining? I am sure you would be really happy to murder him if he is still alive.
WOW, that's quite a revealing statement from you and your attitude to people who comment about Mormonism. Very revealing.
Lets stick to testing Mormonism against The Bible shall we? That's what Brigham said and I'm just doing what he invited Christians to do!
Or maybe, if you are going to say things like you just have...perhaps we should just end our conversations now if that is where we are going to go. Be objective or we'll call it a day.
@REVPIPSTER against the bible? Bibles are important to Mormons. Instead of looking for "against", try looking for "for" or "support" and you would be surprised there's millions of verses matched their religion.
@REVPIPSTER It's not a christian duty to be obsessed with a dead man. It's a christian duty to focus on a man called Jesus Christ. If you talk more often about Joseph Smith, you would be in trouble. Follow a mormon's example by talking about Jesus more often than Joseph Smith.
I'm sorry, Hinkley himself said Mormons follow a Prophet of THIS Dispensaion. Mormons sing songs of Praise To Joseph Smith. He taught That He would sit in Judgement along side The Father and The Son. The Bible Says Jesus ALONE is The Judge! All false Religions put their Prophets Equal to or In Place Of Jesus. Did I walk into a LDS meeting and hear nothing about Jesus and it was a one off? I've dozens of accounts of Jesus Never being mentioned in LDS Meetings and Joseph Lots? Don't go there!
Hot AmericanGurl, you said you were undicided if the LDS was The only true Church on the Earth and that you were going to ask God. Yet your Homepage has a Video supporting The Book Of Mormon. What exactly is your position? Are you seriously wanting to know if Mormonism Is Christianity? Have you had The Burning in your Bosom on praying on the Book of Mormon? I wonder where You are coming from exactly? Will you bare your Mormon Testamony?
It is a Christian Duty to stand up for Truth and to Refrute those who give false evidence about God, Just a I would compare Arianism to Jehovah's Witnesses, so we do with Mormonism, to show where the scource of the errors originate from! St Peter exhorts Christians to give an account for their Faith, The St Paul said to Contend for the Faith and HE publicly refruted False Teachers, even in front of Kings! See Acts!
Seeing that The Book of Mormon copies huge chunks of The King James Bible, Then Yes it does fit well, in places. But it's not only that but also, when reading Mormon writings and listening to Mormon Teachers the words may sound the same but the meanings are different. Hinkley said they do not follow a prophet of Old but a Prophet of THIS Dispensaion. That means it's Prophets from Joseph Smith onwards who they follow. Not those of The Bible.
@REVPIPSTER So, are you implying that people in the bible shouldn't follow their living prophet in that time? Because the prophets in the biblical times are rejected by its own people. So, the prophets are rejected today. So, what are the differences? Noah was a prophet, and no one listened. Now, mormons got their prophet, and you didn't listen. Interesting.
@REVPIPSTER For me, a false prophet just say anything against Christ's teaching. A false prophet would not dare to use the bible or use Christ's words. A true prophet is a spokeman of God. Nothing more. I don't live in Utah or America. I was born in England, and my ancestors are from America.
there are no living prophets to day... Christ sent the Holy Spirit to reveal Him... read the first chapter of Hebrews. all these prophets have been fulfilled- completed. The only reason we reject mormon prophets is because they preach a false gospel paul spoke about in his letters... you can believe in whatever you want... it doesn't make it right or biblical.
whatever you want to believe may not be biblical either. but i dont care if you want to spend your life on a religion that had nothing to do with you, that's your choice. your action won't make any differences. they're still growing.
the book of mormon is a counterfeit debunked since 1820. having more than 775 plagiarized verses coming from the bible having the same language from the bible which didn't exist in the times of the Nephites.
not according to the new introduction of the book of mormon. does it not say now that the "lamanites" were "among" the native americans instead of being the native americans? who knows right?
@Renagade1325 Only the chunks of the Bible that Joseph Smith copied and put in there. Saying that, I have heard some say that you can find Teachings in The BOM, which are in someways a kin To Christianity. But JS then added The D&C and Pof GP and there introduced doctorines that contradicted even the BOM.
Well, some say that but I am yet to find that much in the BOM that is a kin to the Bible other than what is direct from the Bible.
God is not dead...people have removed him. yes. religion does create hatred and wars. not suppose to, but when people are removed from god, they are on their own.
James the screamers tactics scare people away. To be direct is one thing, to scream and criticize people just makes them bitter and run for cover. How hard can you scream at a Mormon before he realizes that his church is wrong?
Yet every exmomon I have spoken to has confirmed that this kind of "Preaching" drove them deeper into the cult. Every decent Cult Outreach Organiziation confirms this! MMOutreach, Reachout Trust, Utah Lighthouse Ministries..... you name it, they confirm it. Because they have taken the time to Listen To God, Learn some Psychology of the Cult Mind and Let the Love Of Jesus lead the way. James' Preaching gets now where as no one can talk amid the shouting!
Do not touch the Lord's Annointed? Benny Hinn's and Copeland's followers say the same thing when people challenge their teachings too. I don't Judge James as a person but I believe his methods are wrong. It's his methods I believe are counter productive! I know this because I was full of religious Zeal and being Religious results in Judgment and Condemnation and ends up being no better than The Cults. They will find themselves like Jonah, praying for fire to fall on those God has mercy on!
Interesting James, the way you refer to yourself in the 3rd person.
I have shown how you are EXACTLY like Fred Phelps and the Westburo Baptist Church crowd. You protest and say, "I care about people." Well you certainly haven;t shown it in your videos!
To me you're a sociopathic bully who wraps himself in the scrptures ( the only thing missing are the phylactories!)
I'm amused by being blocked by hypocrites like you that like to dish it out but can't take the heat online.
I'm not judging James The Preacher as a person, that is for God to do. But a Tree is known by it's fruits and the fruits of his actions are only going to entrench Mormons deeper and deeper into the group they are caught up in. Like all the cults do, James also falls into the trap of attacking the individuals and getting their backs up, putting them on the defensive rather than breaking down the walls. James is being EVERYTHING the cult leaders say a Christian is so they ain't listerning!
What poison do the LDS "spit"? Trying to raise righteous families? Teaching their children about morality? Advocating that married couple should be true to each other? I could go on and on.
Stop trying to justify your false religion, unsaved occultic one. The LDS have a false prophet that had at least 33 wives and went to hell, they believe they can become gods on their own planet, old Joe SHOT three people and did not die a martyr. How is that for starters fool!
Well they have 60,000 or so missionaries, going door to door and telling people that Their Churches are wrong and their leaders false and The Creeds of Historic, Biblical Christianity are an abomination to God! The Jehovah's Witnesses do the same and are just as sincere and just as nice. (I truly mean that.) But it does not make Their religion right and it does not make Mormonism Either! Mormons claim to be Christian, drew 1st Blood and Christians have the right to respond....
and although I have seen and heard Momons turn into huge judgemental, self-righteous Pharesis (if that is spelt right) It is not right for a Christian to be like James The Preacher. But Mormons follow the same cultic lifestyle pattens and will be just as Judgmental as anyother religious person would! They give lipservice to The Bible but undermine it at every turn. Brigham Young asked to be shown in The Bible if they were wrong....was shown and said you can't trust the Bible! Hypocrite!
@REVPIPSTER Good for them! I want them at my door. It's sad to hear that other religions doesn't come to my door and share the gospel. Why don't catholics, christians, and various religious bodies follow the Mormon's example?
Hey, Zeadman2, just as there are those who claim to be Mormons who are obnoxious, so there are those who claim to be in the Christian Church. Jesus said by their Fruits you shall know them! I am sure you are trying to be the best you can for God. So am I! Though I disagree with what Mormonism teaches and it has a different Jesus, I would not want to listen to you if you were rude to me and I would not expect you to listen if I were like James The Preacher!
Either he has not met any when he's had a camera on him or it could be that a Mormon is not going to fly an aircraft into his house!?!
Consisder a revamp of a Robin Williams sketch from a few years back:
"in the Event of a cabin siezure, a small gun will fall from the ceiling. Run to the front and claim it in the name of Moroni!(not Allah)" No ain't likely to happen!
I am Mormon....i am not a member of a cult..... i believe that there are people outside my "cult" or religion that are good honest people... but i do feel protected and loved in my church.....
Well, I am attached to this kind of Ministry and I would define the word Cult differently from how some others define it. I certainly would be more respectful than the likes of James The Preacher would be. I remember when I was under the influence of cult writings, how I felt when people condemned me personally when I was in a group that "loved and Protected me!" The Jesus they taught was not The Jesus of The Bible. But I was sincerely trying to be right with God. Those like James put up walls!
THE MORMON GOD CURSING PEOPLE WITH DARK BLACK SKIN AS A CURSE The point is the SKIN COLOR IS DARK BLACK & it's A CURSE now go up to a BLACK OR DARK SKIN INDIAN MANS FACE & SAY THIS
"...the Lord God did cause a skin of BLACKNESS to come upon them (Book of Mormon 2 Nephi 5:21)"
"And the skins..were DARK,according to the MARK which was set upon their fathers..which WAS A CURSE upon them...(Book of Mormon,Alma 3:6)"
"and the CURSING which hath come upon their skins...(Book of Mormon, Jacob 3:5)"
Illegalplayer...lol...you need to get some new material. You're like an old vaudville act--the dust is beginning to collect on your words. (Just a little advice.)
How the hell does he expect ANYONE to take him seriously after that errr....performance??? How can anything like that command an ounce of respect?? He insulted himself this time, ha ha ha
HEY DUDE how is the devil a brother to jesus? lucifer is not even the name of the devil!lucifer is the star Venus! in isaiah 14:12 the word lucifer is helel in hebrew it is a personification of the star to nebuchadneser 2
actually the reading is heylel in hebrew which means"light-bearer" or the king of Babylon (helel) - and if you read the context of 14:12 yes it personification to describe "son of the morning" but if you read on Lucifer is given that name because of the type of angel he was being described in vv 13,14,15,16; but the mormon concept of jesus having a brother who was a angel still doesn't make any sense anyways.
As a mormon, I agree. I would be very saddenned if a mormon decided to play games like that against any other people, be they baptist, methodist, buddhist, or any other religion.
Jesus Christ taught pure love and humility. He taught by example. Thank you for showing this video, which really sends to me the message that this guy isn't your ordinary converted "Christian" man. He just might be fit for psychological study this guy. The video was kinda slow but you got the message across thanks! :)

If you don't know about the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints (Mormons), then go to their Mormon.org website to ask and have answered any questions you have
LDSdevilboy4193 4 months ago

I'm so sick of the Mormon religion... Glad I'm a proud agnostic homosexual. I put up with less bullshit that way. Prop 8's a sham.

REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@Theeagerburger Your "christianity" shows so well by your words. Further, your so-called "proof" against us is the ACTUAL "lies". I know because I've been in your religions, and I've been an anti-mormon. So, your "intellect" and spirit doesn't impress me. It is you who follows the devil by your own wicked words and false judgements. Even further, if you think we aren't the "true" servants, read Christ's own words in Mark/Luke 9 about other believers not with you. You know not what you do.

Dafrogie 1 year ago
@leeuniverse .... well see if you recognise these words..... "Judge not and you will not be judged" " condemn not and you will not be condemned " is it so difficult for people to preach the word of God without resorting to throwing stones " he amoung you who is without sin may cast the first stone" no one has any excuse for this behavior, grow up and walk the refiners fire, cleanse yourself of pride and you will not only see more clearly but also be a light for those in darkness!!
Dafrogie 1 year ago
@Dafrogie Your words apply to the anti-mormons. If I judge I judge evil & evil done to others. I'm not the one judging good people who believe differently. But I will most certainly stand against bearing false witness, unfair, unrighteous degrading & those who engage in it. I follow Christ's own words in Mark/Luke 9 and the scriptures of Romans 14, anti-mormons however do not. They contend against other believers offending them, they claim others are of the devil when they are of the light.

Mormons, Muslims, JehWitn, and Religious people are doomed to Hell and are of their father : the devil, you race of vipers the big fat devil will impale you with his pitchfork, that is how he pays your faithfulness. . . good luck
rockethead555 1 year ago
@rockethead555 I find it best when talking of the Devil, that we don't use steroetypical images of him. Else He becomes a comical figure who people become less identifiable with adn He becomes less believable. Then people consider Him a Joke and by not taking Him seriously, they fall easily into his traps.
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
muhammad is of the devil, the mormons are of the devil , and all heathen people such as JW, etc. Jesus said : you are of your father the devil and his deeds you want to do, he told the pharisees, the modern day clergy are the pharesees of today and the sons of Ismael are doomed to hell because they love bloodshed
rockethead555 1 year ago
Even more, in Romans 2 God directly states that even those who don't know Him in this life, will get a chance to and WILL still be saved according to their hearts and good works. Thus, it is clear that according to the "Higher Law" that Christ gave, believers are to ONLY fight against and condemn EVIL, NOT other believers or non-believers, no matter the faith or otherwise, as well are to only be critical of those WITHIN the faith who do evil or are as wolves.
leeuniverse 1 year ago
Even further, in Mark/Luke 9 Christ actually condemns the Apostles for attempting to condemn other believers, who believe on Him, but do not have His Authority, nor his Gospel, that they are as Little Children. In fact, Christ has very harsh words for those who would "offend" even these children. Those chapters directly condemn anti-mormonism and anti-mormons, especially the Christian ones. Christian anti's are directly contending against God Himself by trying to destroy mormonism.
leeuniverse 1 year ago
There is another issue however as to your Biblical usage of your point. Actually, if you read the NT carefully, you will see that NO leader of the Church, not even Christ himself was critical of ANY religion nor ANY believer. In fact, Paul was once arrested for preaching against the religion of Diana, but no witnesses were found, and they were released. However, Christ and the Apostles DID preach against their "Brethren", that is fellow Jews. Your Magician was a Jew.
leeuniverse 1 year ago
@leeuniverse I often hear from LDS that They have the name Jesus in their Church! Did not the sons of Sceva use the name of Jesus? Why are they not considered Christians or Mormons? They used the name of Jesus, it must make them right! Unless of course, it's a family issue, which is why the Demon kicked the crap out of them rather than yeald to the Holy Name!
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@leeuniverse Christ was very critical of The Jewish authorities. He called them "Vipers, Whitewashed Tombs, Full of Dead Mens Bones!" He was VERY critical of Others! Christ came to The Jews, not the Gentiles. So he did not speak of their false gods because he came to the Jews and was focused on Them! But He did uphold The Law and indoing so, took a stance in saying All other religions are False! By making such clear statements as He did, and living The Holy Life that he did!
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER Read what I said again, I already said your first part. As to the other part, even when Christ was gone and Peter got the revelation to take the Gospel to the Gentile and not only the Jews there are NO examples of Apostles condeming others not with them, save Jews who pervert the Faith. Show me one word about other religions in the NT??? I don't disagree that he would say they are false, just pointing something out. Further......
leeuniverse 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER ..... Read Mark/Luke 9 very carefully. Christ condemns the Apostles for trying to condemn the Faith of other Believers who are as children, but NOT WITH THEM. In other words, Christ was talking about other believers who had not His Authority, and His Truths, but where believers in Him Trying to believe on Him their very best they could. Thus, if you believe YOU have the Truth, Christ himself condemns you for your acts against Mormonism and other Christian Faiths.
leeuniverse 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER .... There is another problem..... Even if you believe it is a biblical charge to "attack Faith" rather than proclaim it, defend it, and preserve it, you as an anti-mormon bear false witness in almost everything you say about mormonism and mormons. Thus, you are much more on the Devils errand than on Gods. God's true servants do not bear false witness of others, even to be critical of them. It's one of the Ten Commandments, & anti-mormons break it in almost everythign they say.
leeuniverse 1 year ago
@leeuniverse Firstly I am gladyou acknowledge that Mormonism is another faith, because many Mormons claim to be Christians. I am not Anti Mormon as you put it, I am anit-mormonism. I take a stand against what I consider to be an attack on My Faith, Christianity. The First vision makes it clear that The Mormon belief is that ALL Christian Churches are Wrong, their beliefs are Wrong and Their Teachers Corrupt! Mormonism fired The First Shot and attacked Christianity first. I'm just responding.
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER Boring.... That first shot was uttered by Christ Himself, so argue with him. Further, He said similar things in the New Testament towards the "traditional" Jews of the time. So, what makes you and yours so much better to not deserve the same kind of chastisement from Christ 2000 years later??? Also, a statement of belief doesn't change the facts. We believing you are false does not equate to you bearing false witness of others, nor having ministry's AGAINST others. Non-Biblical
leeuniverse 1 year ago
@leeuniverse According to JS, it was uttered by The Mormon Jesus (depending on which First Vision version you are choosing to believe in.) The picture of Jesus painted in Mormonism is a different Jesus than that of The Bible. A Jesus who is one god among many gods and is the brother of Lucifer. Which is different from who The New Testament reveals him to be like. Also Jesus didn't tell the Jews not to mistrust the Torah and to follow a religion that was different from what The Bible taught!
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER You should learn the difference between what YOUR RELIGION tells you the Bible teaches compared with what the Bible actually teaches. I was a mormon while in your religions LONG before I even knew mormonism existed. I knew your religions didn't practice, was not accurate, etc. etc. what the Bible actually said. So, get that malarky out of your head that mormonism doesn't follow the Bible. We follow it FULLY, you do not.

@leeuniverse You mormons blasphemize Jesus Christ and REJECT the Bible.. that is a fact
Theeagerburger 1 year ago
@Theeagerburger I agree, TEB, but most of them don't realized they are doing it. Most sincerely believe they are in the will of Father God. That's why with patience and long suffering and correct use of Scripture we but show them by our example, the true Jesus of The Bible. They have been taught Christians will attack and hate them. But we must demonstraite The Love of God to them. sow the seeds that will cause them to question the LDS and read The Bible. The Holy Spirit will do the rest!

REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER Christ chastised them on their teachings also. Christ also brought a NEW Gospel. He didn't eliminate the old, but he did put new wine into a new jar. And what you are speaking of when you say "early Church"? You don't follow the authority & teachings of the early church. You are of a man-made religion. WE are the original Church again. Further, there is no "contradictions" between mormonism, LDS scripture etc. with the Old. Only your perversions of us and scripture makes so.
leeuniverse 1 year ago
@leeuniverse Your response to me is quite typical of someone who Keeps The Law. A self rightious attitude developes. Even when I was "Religious" I could not keep the whole 10 Commandents. I have never met a man who claims to be a Christian be they Mormon or not who haskept the Law. James who LDS love to qoute ref the need for faith and works, also said if you break 1 part of the Law, you have broken the Whole Law. That is why You need to be saved by Grace only coz We can't keep the Law at all!
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER And your response is the typical anti-mormon bearing false witness ranting about mormons being "all about the law" rather than Grace. Further, I feel sorry for you that your standards and those around you are so LOW that you all can't keep the SIMPLE Ten Commandments. Well, you will go exactly where you belong at the end, because you expect so "little" of yourself. Do you expect so little from your children if you have any???
leeuniverse 1 year ago
@leeuniverse Simple? Then you have truly missed the point. They are the hardest of all God's Laws to keep. I have broken in my life every single one of them. I could not help it I just did it. Even when I was religious, I found myself breaking The Law in one part or another. I take things others paid for, I tell lies, I commit adultery frequently because Jesus said if I look at a women and lust I commit adultery in my heart. What Good can I do? What do you do with your sin?
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER You sure don't know your scriptures. The Ten Commandments is not the Higher Law Christ brought. In fact, the 10 were given to Moses by God when the people were not worthy to recieve the Higher Law. Or did you forget that. So, your trying to mix the two laws doesn't work, and was not your original statement, for you now change the line into the Higher Law. As to may "sins", I'm a Christian. I partake of the sacrament/atonement, repent, and daily renew my efforts to be as He Is.
leeuniverse 1 year ago
@leeuniverse Hold on hold on hold on. If you are a Christian, then I have the right to contend for my faith and be critical of Your denomination. Because that means that that we are of the same faith. So by me given a reasoned defense for my beliefs and a critical analysis of ANOTHER Christian group is justified. Just as Christ was Critical of Fellow Jews who taught false doctorine, then I am within my rights to critic Mormonism. So don't accuse me of attacking other faiths, Christian!
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@leeuniverse So you take the sacrament and daily renew you efforts? So you do break the Commandments then. When the Laws and Ordinances are not broken, there is no need for a Sacrifice to cover what is broken. Because if it is not broken, it does not need fixing! If you do obey ALL the Laws and ordinances of The Gospel of Christ, then you would not need to repeant of anything. And then you come on here and accuse those who reject Mormonismof being sinners and not keeping the Law? Pharisee!
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@leeuniverse You are so caught up in your works and rituals and beliefs that you too will become a god, that you have become like the man, James the Preacher who I was denoucing for claiming to be a Christian and yet was preaching condemnation at Mormons rather than showing The Love of Christ.
The Bible says Eph 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
And You are boasting in what You have done!
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@leeuniverse The point of the Law was to show them they were not worthy. Let us look at some of the 10 commandments shall we? Have you ever stolen anything? I have it makes me a thief. What about you?
Have you ever told a lie? I have (you have accused me of that already) So I am a liar. What about you?
Have you ever committed adultery? Jesus said if you look at a women and lust after her you commit adultery in your heart! So I am an adulterer, what about you?
3 laws broken I am guilty! Are you?

@leeuniverse I will stand before God in Judgement and I have broken 3 of the 10 commandments. Will there be any good work that I can do to save me? Tell me what these higher laws are that your Mormon Jesus introduced to The Jews that could save even the worst of sinners? Then tell me why you are not following them so that you have to keep taking the atonement and repenting of all of your wrong doings! If it is possible for Men to make themselves right by God by their own works.
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
Finally, the first anti-mormon to actually acknowledge that immoral anti-mormons are not good for the cause, recognizing what the Bible states on the matter. Of course, you actually need to take it even further, not simply to the Street Protesters, but to ALL anti-mormonism. Why? Because ALL anti-mormonism does nothing but bear false witness of mormonism. Only like .01% of those who are critical of mormonism do so "morally".
leeuniverse 1 year ago
@leeuniverse I think you have made a lot of sweeping statements here but in reality there is a lot more to this than what you are saying, or rather not saying.
First, as recorded consistantly in the 8 or 9 differing versions of the 1st vision by Joseph Smith, the only consistant statement through out is that the angel or god that appeared to JS, said that All Christians, their beliefs and teachers were wrong. So that sets Mormonism apart from Historic & Biblical Christianity. Anti-Christian!
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@leeuniverse Secondly, Christ rebukes the Disciples for rebuking other Believers in Him, from outside of the immeadiate circle, who were doing what He said Believers should do! I think that the key here is that They were ACTUAL believers, in the Same Jesus as the Disciples followed. Not a different Jesus, as the one Mormonism claims to follow. St Paul wrote about different Jesus's and different gospels and Mormonism has both a different Jesus and gospel.
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER You pervert the truth to make such judgements. First, if they were "true" believers the Apostles would have had no reason to condemn them. The Apostles were correct in their judgement, just not correct fully so, because Christ told them that even "children" as this are His. Further, there is no million and one Jesus's. There is only One Christ. All the characteristics of Christ of the Bible, LDS follow. Your perversions of our Faith are not our Faith and thus another Jesus.
leeuniverse 1 year ago
@leeuniverse Well you have the Jesus of The Jehovahs Witnesses who was Michael The Archangel. You have The Jesus of The Bahi's who is one of 7 manifistations. You have the Jesus of the Spiritists who is an advanced medium, Then you have the Jesus of Christianity and the Jesus of Mormonism.....but I have just asked you 3 questions about these two.
St Paul spoke to the Corinthians about false teachers bringing a different Jesus and Gospel. So there are many Jesus's in curculation!
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER There is not one thing about the "LDS Jesus" compared to the Biblical Jesus that is different. Name one..... Name one thing we don't believe about Jesus from the Bible? Name one thing we "add"? You should learn not to confuse your "creeds" with being the Bible. Our Trinity is still the Trinity. Your religion creating your own version and us having our own doesn't somehow mean "unBiblical". All of our Trinity is in the Bible. Your blindness again doesn't make unbiblical.
leeuniverse 1 year ago
@leeuniverse Then let us compare The Mormon Jesus to The Biblical Jesus. Where does the Bible say Jesus was born, who was His Father and how was he concieved? The Tell me Where thw Book of Mormon says He was Born? Who does Mormonism say was His Father and how was He concieved?
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@leeuniverse The Trinity is not mentioned in The Bible. What is The Mormon doctorine of The Trinity? Do you know what The Christian Doctorine of The Trinity is? Lets see if the terms were are using are actually the same terms. You claim to be Christian but you accuse me of Attacking Other Faiths. St Paul regularly denounced Those coming into the Church teaching False doctorines. So as you claim to be Christian, I can comment. What is The Trinity to you? Let see if we have the same Trinity?
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@leeuniverse Here is another question to test if The Jesus of The Bible and The Jesus of Mormonism are The Same or if there are any differences? Before coming to Earth and being born of the Virgin Mary, Where was he before and what was he doing? What were his origins?

I served a mission and never once did I or any of my companions tell anyone Joseph did more than Jesus. Everything Joseph did was to point every human soul to Jesus and his atoning sacrific for all mankind. I think Joseph did more than any man because he restored God's church to the earth, but only Jesus could suffer and bleed from every pore for all of our sins.
action1jackson 1 year ago
@action1jackson Apart from asking if you told people that every other Church was wrong and that The LDS Church was the ONLY true church on the face of the Earth.......Did you not know that Joseph Smith claimed that not even Jesus could Hold his Church together while the Latter Day Saints had not deserted Him? Have you seen that qoute from Joseph Smith?
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER Maybe you should understand that my belief in the LDS church does not come from Joseph Smith but from God. I have read the book of mormon and felt the holy ghost and know that it is a real and true book written by prophets in the ancient americas who testified of jesus christ as our savior. I know the book is true and that God chose joseph to bring it to light. I know joseph smith was a prophet and he may not have been perfect but he was true and faithful to the end.
action1jackson 1 year ago
@action1jackson So your feelings proved that the Book of mormon was true? I got A feeling when I read the Koran and I can say that I am convinced that Millions of Muslims would testify to you that The Koran is True and Islam is the only true faith on Earth. What do you say to them?
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER I think that there are truths in most all religions because God loves his children and wants them to live principles that will make him happy. He answers prayers and wants us to pray, fast, be chaste and clean. Muhammad was no doubt inspired by God. What I believe is that God still reveals truth today through a modern prophet and that Jesus Christ IS the truth, the way, and the light. The prophets testify and are living witnesses of him I have no doubt.
action1jackson 1 year ago
@action1jackson Can I ask what you do for the Church? You have served a mission, you said earlier. Do you hold The Priesthoods of Mormonism? Have you been through The Temple? How long have you been a member of the Latter Day Saints?
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER Yes I hold the priesthood and my only calling as of now is home teacher which means monthly visit with a few assigned members to share a brief message and see how they are doing. I have been around the church all my life, it's when I was about 19 years old that I really prayed about and read the book of Mormon. I was about 21 when I left for a mission
action1jackson 1 year ago
@action1jackson it was obviously a good thing that you decided to pray about the Book of Mormon before you went on your mission, but did you do any research on it before you did that? Why is it that I have never heard a Mormon say you should pray about The D & C or Pearl Of Great Price to confirm them as The Word Of God? Are They The Word of God? I have prayed about the Book of Mormon AND The Bible and I felt God say only The Bible was. Should I pray about these other two also? Have you done it?
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER That is an excellent question! I haven't done such research as to find geoligcal artifacts to prove that the book of mormon is true, only read and reread it a couple of times. I have however visited the hill cumorah where the plates were found and the sacred grove where joseph saw the father and the son and felt a very peaceful feeling about them. we tell people to pray about the book of mormon is because it is the keystone, if you receive confirmation of that the rest will follow
action1jackson 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER And yes I have prayed about them and I think you can never go wrong praying to ask God for guidance and a spiritual confirmation that what you are reading is true.
action1jackson 1 year ago
@action1jackson Hi Action, long time no hear. How are you doing? I was just wondering a couple of things on what you said, How do you compare Islam to mormonism and it's relationship to Christianity? Was Islam an attempt by God and Jesus to Restore The Church in the Middle East as Mormonism is In the Americas?
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago

REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@action1jackson If you want to know how Faithful Joseph Smith was towards the end of his life, when the LDS say he was Martyred, go to UTLM.ORG and investigate LDS documents there.
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@action1jackson Thanks for that testimony. 1000's of mormons would Identify with that. Can I ask you a couple of things? First are you aware of History of the Church, vol. 6, p. 408-409 and that claim Joseph made to have done more to hold The Church together then even Jesus did? And if you say that Mohammad was Inspired. Do Muslims need to convert to Mormonism? Is The Koran The Word of God equal to the Bible? So far as it is translated correctly or like The Book of mormon?
PhilipMarcTrivett 1 year ago
@PhilipMarcTrivett Never read that but I did read a quote from Brigham Young that said no man has done more for the salvation of mankind than Joseph Smith save Jesus Christ. And while the Koran is inspired the only one who can save us is Jesus the Christ, of which the Book of Mormon testifies. i believe many were inspired by god such as columbus and the formers of the constitution. Few were commanded by the Lord himself to write down their revelations.
action1jackson 1 year ago
@action1jackson Are we not talking about Scripture here though? Are you comparing and weighing up The Word Of God, The Covernants between God and Man which will lead men to redemption and Forgiveness (or in LDS minds - To Godhood) and you are comparing them with the King of Spain's desire to develope a trade route to the Indies or a group of rebels against the King of England trying to form a government after winning The War of Independance? Is that what is meant by 'all scripture is inspired'
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@action1jackson Then is it any wonder that once Joseph Smith convinced his followers to doubt The Bible, then he was able to put in other stuff like The Book of Abraham and 9 different accounts of The First Vision, and plural marriage being essential for Godhood and Blacks not being allowed the Priesthood etc....etc!
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@action1jackson I think what Joseph did was start a new brand of religion that used terms and scriptures which sounded Christian but taught something else. Even President Hinkley said Mormons follow a Jesus of This Dispensation, not of that which the Bible teaches and who Christians follow. So it is a different Jesus you teach and a different Scripture which trumps anything the Bible says if it disagrees with LDS writings. St Paul in Galatians warns about those coming with a different Jesus!
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@REVPIPSTER cut and pasted from the book of mormon, when jesus appeared to the nephites. 3 nephi 15: 21-2221 And verily I say unto you, that ye are they of whom I said: Other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 22 And they understood me not, for they supposed it had been the Gentiles; for they understood not that the Gentiles should be converted through their preaching
action1jackson 1 year ago
Obviously they see the truth in my description of a cult from the Waco example and their instant defence is to kick back and attack Me the speaker. But that is a natural reaction for people who's life is connected with an organisation like the LDS. All I can say is "Go and check The Facts rather than judge the appearance of your critics!"
REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
I am still amazed at how many LDS comment on my video, which is a call for opponants of Mormonism to treat Mormons with respect and human dignity, and they take it as an attack on the Mormon Church. I have had ONE mormon comment reconizing this, yet every other mormon has picked a fight with me accusing me of attacking them. I have even had personal attacks on my appearance (a normal cult tactic.) Next I'll be asked where my money comes from to finance my time while I do these videos!

REVPIPSTER 1 year ago
@olivehopoate And let the Mormon Church stop sending it's missionaries around the world, telling Christians that their Churches are wrong and that Joseph Smith is the only Prophet we should listen too, and that He had done more than Jesus.

Of course there's a devil at General Coneference. But they didn't like to be called as "devil", they prefers to be called as "Born Again Christian". You see, devils do anything to attack a religion. When was the last time you see 200 mormons outside your own church protesting?
HotAmericanGurl 2 years ago

Do you believe that Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God and that the Church of Jesus Christ of The Latter Day Saints is the only true Church on the Face of The Earth?
REVPIPSTER 2 years ago
@REVPIPSTER Don't know yet. I haven't asked God Himself yet. If God can confirm it, then I will believe. If no answer, then, he isn't a prophet and it doesn't mean I will have a right to spend the rest of my life hating a man who is dead over 150 years ago.
HotAmericanGurl 2 years ago
Well, I have met and heard from many countless missionaries who do claim that. I many people might claim to follow 'Prophets' and you need to test their claims of revelation against that of those existing in that faith to see if it matches that faith. Then you'd know if he is a false Prophet or not. The Bible says how to test a false prophet!
Also Whe a Missionary bares his testimony and says "it's The Only True Church", would that include The Baptists too?
REVPIPSTER 2 years ago
Oh Mormons are passionate about what they believe. Well done...but it does not make them right. And why should I hate Joseph Smith? I don't hate him. I believe him to be a man who claimed to represent The Christian Godhead, but did not. His writings attacked The Church and all Christian beliefs from the Bible onwards. But I did not know the man adn I hold no personal malice to him but that I am naffed off having to work at clearing up the mess he caused!
REVPIPSTER 2 years ago
But i am more concerned with lifting up Jesus Christ then putting down Joseph Smith! Jesus saved me and changed my life. Not being part of any 'church'!
REVPIPSTER 2 years ago
@REVPIPSTER Then talk about Jesus and don't even mention Joseph Smith. Don't even talk about Mormonism. Try talking more of Jesus and the bible. Nothing more then you do a good job. Missionaries never ever mentioned about other religion to me (except for encouraged me to see the goods in them).
HotAmericanGurl 2 years ago
@REVPIPSTER Joseph Smith said he is part of Godhead? Where's the source of that claim? You're the first in my 10 years to say that. His writing did not attack all religions. Unless you're refering to what Jesus has said about all creed are near his lips but away from his heart.
HotAmericanGurl 2 years ago
Read what I said again and you'll see I never said he was apart of the Godhead.
When he was not building his own religion, JS was attacking other religions. Re-writing The Bible, without knowledge of Hebrew or Greek is attacking it! Like Islam, JS said, the Bible can't be trusted.....Here ...read this instead it is perfect! Joseph's words are very close to the Mormon Jesus, who is a different Jesus to the Christian Church and Bible!

Missionaries have a huge responsibility.
Missionaries take their responsibility seriously.
THELDSLIFE 2 years ago
Well, I did this video to say that I disagreed with James The Preacher and the way he went about having ago at Mormonism and at Mormons.
But I 100% believe that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints is not the True Church on Earth and that Joseph Smith is the prophet of Mormonism. (only)
His writings and Teachings are in Conflict with The Bible. That's why JS had to come up with new stuff and say the Bible had been corrupted. If that is True...Where is the proof?
REVPIPSTER 2 years ago

REVPIPSTER 2 years ago
@REVPIPSTER against the bible? Bibles are important to Mormons. Instead of looking for "against", try looking for "for" or "support" and you would be surprised there's millions of verses matched their religion.
HotAmericanGurl 2 years ago
@REVPIPSTER It's not a christian duty to be obsessed with a dead man. It's a christian duty to focus on a man called Jesus Christ. If you talk more often about Joseph Smith, you would be in trouble. Follow a mormon's example by talking about Jesus more often than Joseph Smith.
HotAmericanGurl 2 years ago
I'm sorry, Hinkley himself said Mormons follow a Prophet of THIS Dispensaion. Mormons sing songs of Praise To Joseph Smith. He taught That He would sit in Judgement along side The Father and The Son. The Bible Says Jesus ALONE is The Judge! All false Religions put their Prophets Equal to or In Place Of Jesus. Did I walk into a LDS meeting and hear nothing about Jesus and it was a one off? It is a Christian Duty to stand up for Truth and to Refrute those who give false evidence about God, Just a I would compare Arianism to Jehovah's Witnesses, so we do with Mormonism, to show where the scource of the errors originate from! St Peter exhorts Christians to give an account for their Faith, The St Paul said to Contend for the Faith and HE publicly refruted False Teachers, even in front of Kings! See Acts!

Renagade1325 2 years ago 11
Seeing that The Book of Mormon copies huge chunks of The King James Bible, Then Yes it does fit well, in places. But it's not only that but also, when reading Mormon writings and listening to Mormon Teachers the words may sound the same but the meanings are different. Hinkley said they do not follow a prophet of Old but a Prophet of THIS Dispensaion. That means it's Prophets from Joseph Smith onwards who they follow. Not those of The Bible.
REVPIPSTER 2 years ago

HotAmericanGurl 2 years ago
there are no living prophets to day... Christ sent the Holy Spirit to reveal Him... read the first chapter of Hebrews. all these prophets have been fulfilled- completed. False religions do, I 100% Agree. But The God of us Christians is very much alive and very much wants you to know that!

Zeadman2 3 years ago
Well, I am attached to this kind of Ministry and I would define the word Cult differently from how some others define it. I certainly would be more respectful than the likes of James The Preacher would be. I remember when I was under the influence of cult writings, how I felt when people condemned me personally when I was in a group that "loved and Protected me!" The Jesus they taught was not The Jesus of The Bible. But I was sincerely trying to be right with God. Those like James put up walls!

HEY DUDE how is the devil a brother to jesus? lucifer is not even the name of the devil!lucifer is the star Venus! in isaiah 14:12 the word lucifer is helel in hebrew it is a personification of the star to nebuchadneser 2
GiftofGod18 3 years ago
actually the reading is heylel in hebrew which means"light-bearer" or the king of Babylon (helel) - and if you read the context of 14:12 yes it personification to describe "son of the morning" but if you read on Lucifer is given that name because of the type of angel he was being described in vv 13,14,15,16; but the mormon concept of jesus having a brother who was a angel still doesn't make any sense anyways.
