I need help here i'm lookin for a good "do it all" 600cc bike and narrowed it down to two bikes...this, the Yamaha FZS model 2002 or over and the Honda Hornet model 2007 or over. Could anyone give me any personnal thoughts, if you've owned any of the bikes and wich to go for (not forgetting the price). Cheers
I don't know why people have slated this video. I liked it and found it useful. I am going to... Calais, France • Lille, France • Arlon, Belgium • Luxembourg • Saarbrücken, Germany • Strasbourg, France • Zurich, Switzerland *Alps* • Feldkirch, Austria • Varese, Italy *Alps*. Turn right (West) to head clockwise along Alps circle I can''t wait. I am going on my own so Im nervous :s At least I am not going until 5th August so maybe I will meet people that want to tag :)
I had to stop your video one third through. I couldn't let my ears take any more from whatever that crap was that was playing. Learn that not everybody has your bad taste in music! The engine noise was great without the bad music.
Ugly bikes but nice ride :P Don't care about the ppl who think every motorbike video has to show guys breaking the speedlimit and driving through 2 cars and stuff.
I did this last year (plus a few more countries) and it was the best trip of my life. Forget your summer holidays at the beach or your skiing in the snow, there is simply nothing like riding your bike across the world with your mate(s).
For EU countries no you dont need your passport (presuming your from the EU). There are no boarders most places. You will need it in Switzerland though. We got strip searched for an hour going through switzerland the first time we went through it by accident! The swiss are mainly dickheads too but we did meet one nice guy. They do have a gorgeous country all the same. If you intend driving outside of the EU countries like Switzerland you'll need to tell your insurance company. Thats it.
simon44, was strip searched in switzerland a "standard procedure" by those guards? or were you guys being suspicious for them to warrant the procedure?
Thank You for putting this vid here. Very nice. I was this year on my XJR 1300 in Alps, too. And can't hardly wait for a next spring to make a new long trip through Europe. See You on the road!
nice video, good luck

middle and high speed corner, and nice view! It looks like Nagano Prefecture in Japan. Though Japanese is almost low and middle speed corner.

i naprawdę... Alpy są zajebiste.... objechałem je .... tylko Szwajacaria ominięta... więc.... coś jeszcze zostało na przyszłość

@mmaestro0 You said it buddy! (translation please?)
CharlesDarwin999 2 years ago
ok.. I'll try translate...
"and that's true... Alps are (great)... I rode around... Switzerland is only skipped... so... something it still remains for future
Actually I used polish vulgarism which means as (great) or (the best)... I hope you understand now...
