A few years ago two parents went out to dinner. A few hours later the babysitter called asking if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids room . the father said " get the kids out of the house house . We'll the '' clown statue '' was a killer that escaped from jail if u dont post this on 10 videos tonight the clown will be in ur bed at 3:00 am with a chain saw in his hand
Panic attacks can be dangerous.Tachycardia can lead to arrythmias.Bascically it like an Cocaine OD.Adrenaline soars and can freak u out and get uber paranoid and get irrational leading to accidents.U need medications if severe.Panic attacks wear down ur body fast.Yes u can die literelly from fright,go into shock or have a heart attack!Panic attack is serious! Never exercise when in Panic.Avoid all stimulants and marijuana.
Why the hell are paramedics there? It's not like you die from a panic attack, it's just an episode of extreme fear and panic and confusion that you just wait to end after usually a few minutes. This is ridiculous.
@TheAlbinoUnicorn333 NOT rediculous I went from a good job to being on ssi& being an addict some panic disorders linger and i would get so irrational u think u r gonna die even when u know u have attacks u think this ones real it's fucking scary!!I'm an artist and intelligent rational guy but this shit can fuck u up I used opiates to relieve it now benzos maybe u or ppl u know had mild ones but ive had ones like that, theres no fucking way id choose to call 911 unless in my mind its serious
@deanrps Umm.. you don't need to tell me about panic attacks because I have suffered with them for a few years, I've had mild to severe ones, and when I have had severe ones, yes, it is very scary because I did think I was going to die. So don't assume I've never had a severe one, because I have, so no need to lecture me. I wasn't saying the panic attacks were ridiculous, calling paramedics was because you don't need paramedics for a panic attack. I do have a panic disorder so don't lecture me.
@deanrps You're telling me as if I had never experienced them. I have had them severe and I didn't need and ambulance, they only really last a few minutes so I have no idea why the hell you had an ambulance, you're either supposed to try and calm down before or whilst having one, or just let it come and go. Simple. You obviously didn't read my comment properly. So don't try and "educate" me because I know what it's like, so stop trying to act like you've had it worse than anyone else.
@TheAlbinoUnicorn333 No i am afraid they can last for hours without any medication. This happens for people who are not aware of PD.The anxiety of what happened to them triggers further attacks and leads to a series of attacks till they are exhausted!! I had them initially when i did not know about PD
PD does not require anything. No medical help is needed if you are aware as to what is happening to you. To get unwanted thoughts u might need Alprazolam or Clonazepam As u know PD never killed any1
@TheSimpleandstraight Look, you don't need to tell me all about panic attacks, as I have been experiencing panic attacks for several years. Yes, I honestly admit I don't know everything about them still, and I know, it really tires you out. Also, try reading my comment before you reply, I said that I KNOW YOU DON'T NEED AN AMBULANCE AND IT WON'T KILL YOU... Jesus... so stop trying to 'educate' me when I already have a knowledge of the subject due to experience and talks with doctors, thank you.
@TheAlbinoUnicorn333 I appreciate the fact you know a great deal. I was just trying to discuss in a good humor with no intention to offend :) I am not trying to educate you. Why would i? You have gone through the same experiences and I did or 1000s of PD sufferers like us do.i was just trying to say that PA can last for hours. Good to know FYI. I dont need your fake thanks anyway. Don't bring Jesus in such trivial topics :P Don't get hyper easily. Chill! Have a nice day!! :P :P
@TheSimpleandstraight I wasn't really bringing Jesus into it. It's just something people say...
I know it can last a while, yes. I guess I was just so annoyed with the previous person who I was talking to about this and they were a bit of a nob-end and an idiot, really. I'm sorry if I came across as too serious and possibly judging you. I'm sorry. Why would I be hyper? and alrighty, thanks, you have a nice day, too. Atleast you don't insult me or act like an arse as most people seem too.
@TheAlbinoUnicorn333 You are doing fine :) Dont be sorry! I know Youtube is such a shitty place where people hide behind the mask of their laptop and take pleasure in insulting others. I can understand!! :) May we all live a peaceful life as Panic Attacks have already caused enough havoc!! i respect you for the fact that you are taking the pain to see someone else's video and trying to help with your comment. Good luck :)
I used to suffer from anxiety, panic, ocd and fear of death for years. Check out my channel to see how I got free and no longer bound to those chains. God bless
The German state uses his secret service BND to systematically rape, torture and murder. My brother Markus Bott had been tortured during five and a half years. I recorded more than 450 hours on video which ended in the legal system. The BND continued under cover of the legal sytem to torture my brother for one and a half years. My brother was assassinated on 11.7.09 because of our homepage linked on my chanel. Whatever lie german snitchers tell you: Germany is the worst torture state on earth.
well i just got my first attack yesterday but wasn't sure what it really was.i was getting problems to breath, gettin short breath and nervous....i went to hospital and the doctor told me that i was getting an anxiety attack...this was the 1st time this happened to me......
@jasminchannel i felt the exact same thing my heart felt like it was pumping in three diffrent places at one got really s;eepy shakey i was just telling my friend i wouldnt even wish it on my enemies it was terrifing
I get nighttime panic attacks where I wake up from sleep to my heart racing and very dizzy and can't breathe! Its horrible!! I also have brain zaps and body zaps where it feels like my body constantly tingled. All this started after trying spice for the first time!
im 12 and i get panic attacks like i start to choke up and my stomach hurts and i start shaking alll over my body and its horriblee! im trying to cure itt already!
I dont think this is a panic attack at all more like a drug over dose. Panic attacks dont last, youre body cant keep up the fight or flight responce. Not to mention they shocked this guy panic attacks dont stop youre heart. YOu may pass out from hyperventilating, but still. He would be running around unable to sit or stay very still, laying ona stretcher would be giving into the panic and your mind wouldnt let you do that. youd be sprinting trying to get away from it.
my first panic attack was from alcohol witdraw after a lday of binging ,since it was my first one i didnt know what is was so i got scared and my mind got blank and my body got numb i thought i was going to die from all the heavy breathing and heart was beating so fast,no im happy to tell you that i managed to control the panic attack by lying on my bed and drinking alot of water gatoride and just moving around the bed and rubbing my arms to slow down the anxiety and ice cold water to the face.
I had an anxiety attack at school, and it fucking sucked. I kept thinking I was never gonna feel normal, and It kept getting worse. Its a terrifying experience
this isnt real, im guessing they got the guy to run a few laps round the block then picked him up.
the reason i say this is because you cant keep still when your having a panic attack, you have so much adrenaline going through your body you just have to move pace around, this guys just lying back on a stretcher, you wouldnt even need a strether unless you passed out, and you wouldnt want to lie down on one
@1Cocknose1 right you are, and i feel terrible saying this but something about the music to this video made me laugh, i mean i know its wrong to say but the music was not right for the video
Guys it's clearly different from one to another someone like the guy in the video could be having sever symptoms and other illness that we don't know about, seizures or something, panic attacks are horrible, they lead your brain into flushing a huge and I mean huge amounts of adrenaline into your blood stream that's why all these symptoms occur during sport but you don't panic cause it occurred due to physical activity, but when it happens just like this for no reason, believe me.. it's scary..
i rember when i had my first anxiety attack my dad thought i was acting and sayed i was a girl and im his dauter hate him but i feel so much better hope we find a treament for this
I experienced this only twice. The first, 2 yrs ago, led to me jumping through my own window and the lady's across the street. Luckily she had bars on the inside of her window, stopping me from entering her home. Have quite a few scars now, including a nice one on the face. I had no idea what it was when it happened. I was able to calm myself the second time around, despite the anxiety feeling just as strong. Good thing from it is no more annoying small talk with neighbors.
Please go to my channel and see my testimony. I used to suffer from anxiety, panic attacks and agarophobia. I have been set free for over 5 years. No meds, no "panic away" or "linden method". You can be set free too and it won't cost you a dime. GOD bless you all.
@Luisugaldecascante LOL. Are you fucking stupid? I have suffered from anxiety for years and know almost every small trick and technique to overcome it happening when I get an episode. Dont smart ass talk to me like you know shit about what it even is :) go get a mental illness off your precious weed, k. You know NOTHING about what panics even are.
Right then and there I knew I just made a new friend and had someone in the ER who could relate to this. And I asked her, " so I'm not going to die, right?" She said, " there has not been one person who died from a panic attack." I was like wow this woman is an angel. Then when I said that I freaked out thinking what if she was an angel from heaven saying that I am not going to die. The shit I was thinking was so fast, so unreal and it lasted 2 1/2 hours. Panic is the worst thing in the world!!
I took a Xanax 1.0mg and Atenolol 25mg and it slowed down to 164....big deal huh? I was sure I was still going to die. Another nurse took over and took me into the back where there are other people in beds and they are in pain cause I could hear all of them bitching and moan about the pain they had. But they had broken bones and some where throwing up cause of food poisoning. I was dying. Help me please. The nurse said calm down and take a deep breath. My sister get's like this too she said.
I have to the ER how many times for this same crap. I drove there once myself....I live 1.5 miles from the hospital so I went. Anyways, I cut in front of everybody that was there and begged them to save my life because I knew I was just about to die and meet God and that made me nervous knowing I was seconds away from losing my life and going to the next life which sux. The nurse took my vitals. O.K. She said, have you taken any drugs? I said, no why do you ask. Your heart is 184 beats per min.
THANK YOU!! Now I know I'm not alone in this shitty experience and that nothing is wrong with me, or at least something life threatening. Every time I had them before I read about this disorder, I though I was going to die from a cardiac problem or that my lungs were about to collapse!!! When I go through this seconds & minutes become hours!!! More than once I have been steps away to get in my car and drive to emercengy room ASAP! By reading you all comments helped get through one min. ago ;)
i had last year for the first time , it was so horrible and i was on the road to the sea and harly we found a hospital , it was so bad and after that i had for a few times untill i went to the doctore
and i had medicine and it works now , i think sleep is more important that u have enough sleep in 24 hours
i get them from time to time but really bad ones are rare and yes they suck cuz not only you are freaking out but you give othere ppl a fright as well......does any one know of any type of help or technique to help with this shit?
@danialphaomega get the person to...well try to talk the person to take slower deeper breaths. Most likely they will be very short fast breaths, which is bad. Ensure the person will be ok by vocally telling them everythings ok. Well ventilated area can help (especially for people like me, with cases of claustrophbia). Helping by fanning or getting a cool cloth to put on the back of the neck to help lower body temperature. Avoid busy, rushing areas with lots of activity or people.
@Smokie181 What sucks is I cannot talk and refuse to when it is really bad. Someone telling me it's going to be ok only makes everything worse. I've suffered through these for about 6 years now and every time I come up with a method to help me, the next time it does nothing. They say to give into it, don't fight it, leap off the cliff (so to speak) and you'll find there was nothing to be afraid of. None of these things including controlling my breathing, staying in a dark room, etc helped.
@chubbykatze82 Alot of people will cope with it differently. Depending on how severe the attack is it can take alot to get rid of one and one can pass in a few minutes. Lucky I only suffered one of these but it was a pretty bad one. I needed the paramedics to come help me too. Not sure what it was (I think it was oxygen) but they made me breathe air through a mask and that calmed me down pretty quickly and made me normal again. Well, I hope you the best of controlling these cause they SUCK!
@Smokie181 Thank you for the kind words they mean a lot to everyone who suffers this especially from someone who knows. Even writing about this or reading about it or seeing it sets it off now. I take 2x 2mg Alpazolam a day and it still comes and goes but for the most part all I can think to do is cry or run into the bathroom and try to control my breathing. I've had the ambulance guys do the same with me and an oxygen mask although it seems that would make it worse doesn't it?
I know exactly how that guy feels. It is the worst feeling in the world. You literally feel like you're dying and these symptoms are unexplained. The worst thing is that people keep telling you that it's "all in your head" and their hypercritical comments just eat at you even further. The best thing you can do is just remind yourself that you are OK, breath deeply, and try to get lots of sleep. Put yourself on vacation, deep tissue massage, etc. Just avoid all negative thoughts and people.
I doubt he died he was just freaking out real bad and nobody knew what was going on so they got an ambulance, probably one of his first ones. the more you have the more your body can handle them, i have had hundreds and not died.
I've only had them a few times in my life, weird sensation of everything moving and happening really quickly. I feel light headed, as if i'm in a dream, and I feel like I'm being inflated like a balloon. The only way it goes away for me is to apply lots of pressure on my head. I used to press pillows very hard on the side of my face.
I'm just used to em I dont even bat an eye I was diagnosed with OCD when i was 18 but had it way before the diagnosis. You can get around them there are ways, mine was through deep therapy and meditation.
i had them for 12 years best way to deal is get sum cbt counciling had 8 sessions havent had 1 since.had them driving just got out on the motorway n walked up the hard shoulder done sum crazy stuff but got better see a councilor.hlped me.
Yoga Nidra is the best deep deep deep deeeeeep relaxation to practice, in order to become very calm clear headed and balanced
in a natural way.
Search for "devarsi yoga nidra" it works a treat I know it will help anyone with such and related problems and greatly reduce anxiety and fear, YN is so good that it is tested on war veterans with post traumatic syndromes with good results
Had my first panic attachkafter boarding a ferris wheel. The moment our basket went up in the air started the worst 8 minutes of my life. Had to start meds and today I cannot sit in a meeting or sit in traffic without feeling like I need to run for my life. Once i'm outta the traffic or when the meeting is over, I don't even think about it. It's all in our head but it's pretty powerful stuff...
I had my first real panick attack about midway through last month. It freaked me out! It was durring the night when I had a feeling of "I can't breathe!" Then my legs started to shake and I got sick! Whew! Since then, I have been having slight panick attacks every 3 to 4 days. It affects my apetite (I don't eat as much), I get tired often, shakey, and paranoid sometimes. I went to the doctor, got my blood tested and a CT scan. They turned out to be fine! I think I should get over it soon eh?
@Mathieu1903 u know im having the exact same problem but it cuz i drank an energy drink supplemnt n i felt like i was about 2 pass out so i panicked ( this was last thurs,) but right now im trying 2 4get everything, n i feel like im going to get again everytime my heart starts 2 pump faster so im trying 2 let it cool down n then ima try 2 run again next week
I had my first anxiety the day after veterans day in 09. I used to be in the Army and did a tour in Iraq. I have PTSD but I didn't really understand how it affected me at the time. It sucked. I thought I was having a heart attack. My arms were tingling and i was so scared. I even went to the hospital because I had no idea what was going on. I was on the verge of getting one right now but thank God I didn't, I'm working graveyard and I'm alone. Must think of break dancing kittens. Much better!
my 1st anxiety attack is when i was 15(16 now) it was like my heart is having a hard time pumping, my whole body is shaking as hell and i feel so sleepy as if im about to pass out,SCARY AS HELL YOU DIDNT EVEN LIKE TO SEE YOUR ENEMIES SUFFER IT
I agree. having a panic attack is basically like having a heart attack except it lasts long as hell. Its absoutely terrifying...is it just me or does your hearing get messed up as well? Because my hearing becomes disoriented and shit.
it is scary.. i had my first one when i was 12 (16 now)
i didn't like it... i couldn't sleep with the lights off..i cry and i felt like running in the street.. i dont like that feeling.. i still get them once in a while... to stop those attack... u should do exercise, get healtier and always walk somewhere with a friend..
@jasminchannel i had it in school when i got high. it wasnt my first time going to school high tho. idk what happened, first it was all normal, then next thing i know im freaking out, crying, shaking, it felt like i was on fire...i didnt get the pleasure of passing out tho. i went thru this for like an hour :[ sucks
@jasminchannel My brother has had 21 operations, due to that I developed a Panic disorder..Over 10 years and I am now 17..Infact I'm having one right now.
@jasminchannel i think i had one last night, after smoking a little weed, they tested that i didnt have anything else in my system, so maybe after i smoked it i just got into an anxiety attack idk, but it was scary as hell
90% anxiety is result of lost identity! u wanna be U! before anxiety! but that is the problem THAT MAKE U MORE ANXIOUS stop searching "OLD U" old u produce your anxiety and the first panic atack!. ACEPT THIS SITUATION!! that will help u 50% other 50 is TIME and building some other u more confident and u must have hope every day find some job do something is so hard i know and erase thing that make u unstable with no mercy .... about 3-4 mounths after u acept your situation u will be ok
u are ok then from the blue>>>Panic atack!!! then deep fear from another atack.. that result more atacks and more more more... u know u must stop thinking about that but that is inpossible
then second part is anxiety who is product of your panic atacks (constant fear)
after anxiety >>DEPRESSION!!
then some medication and u are like without emotions ZOMBIE WITH PINK GLASSES:)
u must build some other u that is the only medicine.. open mind for a diferent view and nothing else matters
@TomiBT87 "Building a new you" is your solution? I've been having panic attacks as a result of a heart condition since I was 13 years old, I have changed a lot over the years, but none of it effects a condition like this...learning how to live WITH it, not let it control you is way more important than having to change your identity. How is that supposed to help? Try and reduce your anxiety, learn about coping, and tell everyone so they're prepared in the even that they are there. Thats important
:@jen2mj my english isnt so good i cant express myself like i want but ok.yours panic atacks are result of a heart condition that is phisical thing! My first panic atack was about 6 mounths ago. i think like result of my fuckin lazy period and many other things.iv been scared about my heart but everything was ok.then another panic atack. again and again.I havent idea about anxiety then i read about this stuff on net and i'v got anxiety. im changing my old habits that change my identity
@TomiBT87 Changing habits is pretty different then changing identity...I don't know, you just shouldn't let anxiety attacks dictate and rule your life, making you change for them. You should make adjustments that allow you to continue your lifestyle and try new things freely, so that you can enjoy being yourself. Maybe your case is different, but I would say be careful with giving out general advice that might not translate across other situations
i just had my verry first one like that last night i wasent stressen or anything i was just watching tv then all asudden i had a real hard time breathing and my arms hands and legs locked and i couldent move so i called the paramedics and they gave me zanax and breathing tips i was scared though.
ive had anxiety for about 10 yrs, i thought i had controlled it until i quit drinking 4 months ago and now they are a daily thing, im taking medication (alprazolam) but im becoming dependent on the meds. they are only when needed but i use them to prevent an attack on a daily basis, but i think the best way is to talk to someone and to learn how to relax, this really sux, cant even plan a vacation w/ my family
im 23 and suffer from chronic anxiety and i know what u mean. it affects just about every aspect of my life. i dont use meds as i dont wanna be dependent on them but i have steps i take to get through it. i cant go on holidays and sometimes cant even make it to my local pub
very similar ...i stopped going to family events on holidays...I rarely sleep...only way im showing my face at the local pub is if im wasted...My heart actually gets sore from the severe anxiety....i also suffer from pretty bad depression...im a hermit..never leave my apt. i have a very hard time looking people in the eyes...i get a uneasy feeling...life is very difficult for me..
I know how you feel man. The w/d from xanax is fucking hell though, don't stop taking the medication on your own once you've developed a dependancy on them. I've learned this the hard way. There is a lot more to it then just feeling like shit. :/ also, finding someone to talk to and to help you relax is easier said than done.
my anxiety is just totally unbearable. it feels like I'm asleep and not wake up, and the body is awake but not my head. I've had this for over 4 years. I got a sudden terror when I was traveling abroad. has anyone else this feeling? is it true that you can take medication and may wake up sometime?
@Fjellmannen2008 lol, that's sleep paralysis, not a panic attack :0) Sleep paralysis is normal also, it can cause you to panic a little, but having a sleep paralysis episode and having a panic attack are totally different situations. It's like night and day.
@Daisyxpie No, you can't die from a panic attack, but you can die from a heart attack. No one knows which one it is unless they've been through it lots of times. Most people call the paramedics during the first time because they don't know what's going on. During my first panic attack, I thought I was having a heart attack because it felt like I was dying, so I got someone to call the paramedics. The feeling is absolutely terrifying, every time. There are breathin' techniques/meds that can help.
I've had anxiety attacks since I was 5 or 6. I haven't died yet...(knock on wood.) Anyway, I don't think they can kill you unless you have a weak heart. Of course I'm not a doctor but I've never heard of someone dying from a panic attack.
@SamuelKing1oz shut the fcuk up. Thats so not true. If ur heart stops during a panic attack its not from the actual attack, but from something else happening at the same moment. U cant die from a panic attack itself and the chance of something actually being wrong with ur body during a panic attack are really small.
@Daisyxpie Its not that you can die, but people with sever anxiety disorders, like me, literally are 100% convinced that their death is coming from things like noticing something strange about your heart, say its beat is a little bit off, people with bad anxiety think it is a heart attack. You probably don't understand how it feels, Imagine being stuck in a coffin buried underground, trying to stay calm...
@Dran4J Man.. thats the most true thing ever. It can not be explained or understood. Every fucking time im absolutely convinced im gonna die. Even tho i know I've been thinking that every time... Its just weird and absolutely tiring
That's what happened to me with my panic attacks. Actually that's what happened to me my first seven full-blown panic attacks. PAs are different for people. Mine feels like I'm having a heart attack so I call 911.
@Daisyxpie You can never die from the actual panic attack. The paramedics will still come and help you and give you medications to calm you down. If the panic attack gets too intense fainting is the worst that could happen.
@Daisyxpie he dosn not really need them, but ins this moment he (and i guess the people around him) is convinced he does, I sometimes have them hardcore like him, but I know, they can't really hurt me and everything is going to go back to normal. If you have questions on panik attacks, feel free to contact me
@Daisyxpie .... When I had my first panic attack, this is exactly what I looked liked,,, I also thought I was dying of a heart attack! Luckily for me and this guy, I don't think you can actually die from one,,, unfortunately the whole time your having it you THINK your dying. So the question is then WHICH IS WORST!
@Daisyxpie you cant die from it buddy, dont worry. i know it feels like youre going to any minute, like theres a gun pointed to your face, and youre hearts just going to stop, but it wont.
I had a anxiety attack at 23 yrs old. All my muscles clenched, my arms were stuck to my chest, my finger nails were digging into my palms I was clenching my fists so hard, I couldnt walk, was hard to breath, heart was racing. Didnt know what was happening to me at that time, so many thoughts were going through my head, kept thinking that I was going to die, which in turn made me panic even more. was at work and had a server drive me to the clinic and they called the paramedics.
the same thing happened to me that happened to you.
my hands and feet locked up and i was breathing too fast. i thought i was gonna die so it made me panic even more too! i just wanted to tell you that your not alone! what i do is hold my breath as long as i can and let it out.
@Daisyxpie You can't but you do feel like you need them. I've gone to the E.R. countless times because I thought it was so real and I'm still not doing any better. This looks more like a drug overdose or a heat stroke rather then an anxiety attack. Doctors or ambulance workers wouldn't need to put an I.V. on someone having an attack. Also, I don't get the music.
@Daisyxpie so ? Ive had really hard shit ass panic attacks when I try' to smoke some pot, and Ive been most of the times needing to go to the hospital or call an ambulance just b.c I think I'm dying and its what I need to survive, but wow they did nothing to me at the hospital and I'm still alive. amazing. I think lots of people looks for med asst when having panic attacks, it doesn't mean you are in "real" danger, its just adrenaline and negative placebo thoughts. cheers :)
@Daisyxpie you can't die from a panic attack but you can hyperventilate to the point that you get way to much oxygen. This can cause your muscles to "for lack of a better term" cramp up, I had it happen to me one time.....I could not open my hands, my friends even tried opening them....its hard to explain.....that event led me to learn about using a paper bag to rebreath my own air for a little while therefore lowering my O2 levels. Panic attacks just plain suck, hang in there everyone!!!
@etarheel1 Paperbags and all that, don't work for everyone. I had my anxiety go from my chest, to my head. My head felt like.....Oh I dunno how to explain it.....You know how it feels to have your ears pop from the air pressure? That's how my head constantly feels like, and I hear clicking from my jaw at the same time. Then when it's in my chest, I feel an immense tightness in my chest....feel like I'm gonna die
@HansumGent I know exactly what you are talking about, I have had all of the above at one point or another. I describe the ear thing as a chemical reset of my brain.....i feel the "pressure" build in my ears......feel really weird for about a min like the out of body/dizzy feeling then the ears pop or clear and its over....takes about 20 min to come down from the adrenalin dump, shakey hands etc etc............as for the chest tightness it is from muscle tension......we live at such a high lvl
@HansumGent of muscle tension we don't realize how it makes our whole body react....using the start at your feet and relax all muscle groups on the way up help me with understanding when my whole body was all jacked up. theres too much to type here....just email me and we can talk about it...i have been dealing with this crap most of my life.
it's not exactly that you inhale too much O2, but that you exhale too much CO2. In response to the loss of the CO2, bicarbonate in your body binds with hydrogen to make more CO2. The resulting lack of hydrogen causes your blood to become more alkaline. The blood being more alkaline causes your blood vessels to constrict because of a reduction in calcium. The low levels of CO2 also cause tetany (the cramping) from the low levels of calcium. It's complicated. look up hyperventilation on wikipedia.
@Daisyxpie you can die! I've had experience with them. While you're having a panic attack your heart rate is outta control. and if it is not stopped a brought to control, it can stop on you.
@songwritagurl20 Only if you have a significantly bad heart defect. Think about it. Adrenaline (AKA: epinephrine) is the SAME thing they use to treat cardiac arrest along with paddles. How could something that revives the heart make it stop? It won't stop. Also, I've studied exactly how the central nervous system works to a tee. You have the sympathetic, which is what reacts to the surges of adrenaline and speeds up your heart and causes the other symptoms. And then you have the-
@songwritagurl20 - parasympathetic nervous system, which is a fail safe mechanism to protect you from yourself. If the panic attack gets too bad or lasts too long, it will activate and your heart rate and blood pressure will drop. Sometimes you will even pass out. It's the same reason you get so tired after a fight or after being scared of something. In fact, skydivers have below average heart rates when they land. What else would cause that? Don't scare people with misinformation.
@Daisyxpie he doesn't need paramedics but he called them anyways , and they are not sure whats wrong with him so they take him according to the way he looks , which is pretty much shitty , don't be a wuss :P
try to find what cause your panic atack cause panic attacks are fear from something when you realize what causes it you must to break your fear or it never will leave you
oh my god guys i never wouldv thought that panic attacks could be soo bad i fear all the time im going to get one until i get it than i feel allright untill i see my husband again it nseams whe i spend time with him it trigers it im not happy
i had anxiety untill my brother told me about a site called LiveComfortableNow . com .... and it help me get over. Hope This Helps.... LiveComfortableNow . com
No one told me how bad panic attacks can be. I take a beta-blocker which reduces the amount of adrenaline in my system thus reducing my palpitations. I still, however, have other symptoms associated with panic attacks.
I have a number of attacks in a day and each one feels like i'm having a heart attack. Shit to live with, especially when those around me don't really understand what i'm going through.
I have severe panic attacks...I end up on the side of the road struggling with every once of strength to fight my body's natural reaction to hyperventilate (which is what is happening to this poor bloke) I take Valium and im up 2 a 20 mg dose in less than 6hrs, i have been doing this for the last few weeks and my attacks are not subsiding! I am going to try some meditation to learn to control my breathing as well as tai chi! I Want off the pills & live again, hope & peace to all fellow sufferers
my first ones were pretty crazy like that too felt like my stomach was sinking and i couldn't breath or clear through. never needed a drug to calm me down tho was forced to sit it out
I have the same thing though...

TheAlbinoUnicorn333 4 months ago
@TheAlbinoUnicorn333 NOT rediculous I went from a good job to being on ssi& being an addict some panic disorders linger and i would get so irrational u think u r gonna die even when u know u have attacks u think this ones real it's fucking scary!!I'm an artist and intelligent rational guy but this shit can fuck u up I used opiates to relieve it now benzos maybe u or ppl u know had mild ones but ive had ones like that, theres no fucking way id choose to call 911 unless in my mind its serious
deanrps 4 months ago
@deanrps Umm.. you don't need to tell me about panic attacks because I have suffered with them for a few years, I've had mild to severe ones, and when I have had severe ones, yes, it is very scary because I did think I was going to die. So don't assume I've never had a severe one, because I have, so no need to lecture me. I wasn't saying the panic attacks were ridiculous, calling paramedics was because you don't need paramedics for a panic attack. I do have a panic disorder so don't lecture me.
TheAlbinoUnicorn333 4 months ago
@TheAlbinoUnicorn333 im saying i had them so severe i had been taken by ambulance it was no joke you cany think straight
deanrps 4 months ago
@deanrps You're telling me as if I had never experienced them. I have had them severe and I didn't need and ambulance, they only really last a few minutes so I have no idea why the hell you had an ambulance, you're either supposed to try and calm down before or whilst having one, or just let it come and go. Simple. You obviously didn't read my comment properly. So don't try and "educate" me because I know what it's like, so stop trying to act like you've had it worse than anyone else.
TheAlbinoUnicorn333 4 months ago
@TheAlbinoUnicorn333 Panic Attcks can last for hours :) n first timers would definitely call ambulance :P
TheSimpleandstraight 3 months ago
@TheSimpleandstraight They can last a while, but not usually hours. First timers may call and ambulance, yes. But they certainly don't need one.
TheAlbinoUnicorn333 3 months ago
@TheAlbinoUnicorn333 No i am afraid they can last for hours without any medication. This happens for people who are not aware of PD.The anxiety of what happened to them triggers further attacks and leads to a series of attacks till they are exhausted!! I had them initially when i did not know about PD
PD does not require anything. No medical help is needed if you are aware as to what is happening to you. To get unwanted thoughts u might need Alprazolam or Clonazepam As u know PD never killed any1
TheSimpleandstraight 3 months ago
@TheSimpleandstraight Look, you don't need to tell me all about panic attacks, as I have been experiencing panic attacks for several years. Yes, I honestly admit I don't know everything about them still, and I know, it really tires you out. Also, try reading my comment before you reply, I said that I KNOW YOU DON'T NEED AN AMBULANCE AND IT WON'T KILL YOU... Jesus... so stop trying to 'educate' me when I already have a knowledge of the subject due to experience and talks with doctors, thank you.
TheAlbinoUnicorn333 3 months ago
@TheAlbinoUnicorn333 I appreciate the fact you know a great deal. I was just trying to discuss in a good humor with no intention to offend :) I am not trying to educate you. Why would i? You have gone through the same experiences and I did or 1000s of PD sufferers like us do.i was just trying to say that PA can last for hours. Good to know FYI. I dont need your fake thanks anyway. Don't bring Jesus in such trivial topics :P Don't get hyper easily. Chill! Have a nice day!! :P :P
TheSimpleandstraight 3 months ago
@TheSimpleandstraight I wasn't really bringing Jesus into it. It's just something people say...
I know it can last a while, yes. I guess I was just so annoyed with the previous person who I was talking to about this and they were a bit of a nob-end and an idiot, really. I'm sorry if I came across as too serious and possibly judging you. I'm sorry. Why would I be hyper? and alrighty, thanks, you have a nice day, too. Atleast you don't insult me or act like an arse as most people seem too.
TheAlbinoUnicorn333 3 months ago
@TheAlbinoUnicorn333 You are doing fine :) Dont be sorry! I know Youtube is such a shitty place where people hide behind the mask of their laptop and take pleasure in insulting others. I can understand!! :) May we all live a peaceful life as Panic Attacks have already caused enough havoc!! i respect you for the fact that you are taking the pain to see someone else's video and trying to help with your comment.

Razorokc 9 months ago
my first panic attack was from alcohol witdraw after a lday of binging ,since it was my first one i didnt know what is was so i got scared and my mind got blank and my body got numb i thought i was going to die from all the heavy breathing and heart was beating so fast,no im happy to tell you that i managed to control the panic attack by lying on my bed and drinking alot of water gatoride and just moving around the bed and rubbing my arms to slow down the anxiety and ice cold water to the face.

this isnt real, im guessing they got the guy to run a few laps round the block then picked him up.
the reason i say this is because you cant keep still when your having a panic attack, you have so much adrenaline going through your body you just have to move pace around, this guys just lying back on a stretcher, you wouldnt even need a strether unless you passed out, and you wouldnt want to lie down on one

@RinoaRainbow what you have to do is breathe through your nose.
do not breathe through your mouth.
if you feel like your starting to panic, breathe through your nose.
dont think about it as much.

just remember this.
"you cannot hyperventalate if you breathe ONLY through your nose".
its physically impossible.
once i heard that from my doctor, i wasn't scared anymore and i realized that i would only breathe through my mouth and not my nose.

Panic is the worst thing in the world!!
tomgunc 1 year ago
I took a Xanax 1.0mg and Atenolol 25mg and it slowed down to 164....big deal huh? I was sure I was still going to die. Another nurse took over and took me into the back where there are other people in beds and they are in pain cause I could hear all of them bitching and moan about the pain they had. But they had broken bones and some where throwing up cause of food poisoning. I was dying. Help me please. The nurse said calm down and take a deep breath. My sister get's like this too she said.
tomgunc 1 year ago
I have to the ER how many times for this same crap. I drove there once myself....I live 1.5 miles from the hospital so I went. Anyways, I cut in front of everybody that was there and begged them to save my life because I knew I was just about to die and meet God and that made me nervous knowing I was seconds away from losing my life and going to the next life which sux. The nurse took my vitals. O.K. She said, have you taken any drugs? I said, no why do you ask. Your heart is 184 beats per min.

i get them from time to time but really bad ones are rare and yes they suck cuz not only you are freaking out but you give othere ppl a fright as well......does any one know of any type of help or technique to help with this shit?
danialphaomega 1 year ago
@danialphaomega get the person to...well try to talk the person to take slower deeper breaths. Most likely they will be very short fast breaths, which is bad. Ensure the person will be ok by vocally telling them everythings ok. Well ventilated area can help (especially for people like me, with cases of claustrophbia). Helping by fanning or getting a cool cloth to put on the back of the neck to help lower body temperature. Avoid busy, rushing areas with lots of activity or people.
Smokie181 1 year ago
@Smokie181 What sucks is I cannot talk and refuse to when it is really bad. Someone telling me it's going to be ok only makes everything worse. I've suffered through these for about 6 years now and every time I come up with a method to help me, the next time it does nothing. They say to give into it, don't fight it, leap off the cliff (so to speak) and you'll find there was nothing to be afraid of. None of these things including controlling my breathing, staying in a dark room, etc helped.
chubbykatze82 1 year ago
@chubbykatze82 Alot of people will cope with it differently. Depending on how severe the attack is it can take alot to get rid of one and one can pass in a few minutes. Lucky I only suffered one of these but it was a pretty bad one. I needed the paramedics to come help me too. Not sure what it was (I think it was oxygen) but they made me breathe air through a mask and that calmed me down pretty quickly and made me normal again. Well, I hope you the best of controlling these cause they SUCK!
Smokie181 1 year ago
@Smokie181 Thank you for the kind words they mean a lot to everyone who suffers this especially from someone who knows. Even writing about this or reading about it or seeing it sets it off now. I take 2x 2mg Alpazolam a day and it still comes and goes but for the most part all I can think to do is cry or run into the bathroom and try to control my breathing. I've had the ambulance guys do the same with me and an oxygen mask although it seems that would make it worse doesn't it?
chubbykatze82 1 year ago
Watch the movie fight club and you will be cured from everything
ririmja 1 year ago
I know exactly how that guy feels. It is the worst feeling in the world. You literally feel like you're dying and these symptoms are unexplained. The worst thing is that people keep telling you that it's "all in your head" and their hypercritical comments just eat at you even further. The best thing you can do is just remind yourself that you are OK, breath deeply, and try to get lots of sleep. Put yourself on vacation, deep tissue massage, etc. Just avoid all negative thoughts and people.

TomiBT87 2 years ago
u are ok then from the blue>>>Panic atack!!! then deep fear from another atack.. that result more atacks and more more more... u know u must stop thinking about that but that is inpossible
then second part is anxiety who is product of your panic atacks (constant fear)
after anxiety >>DEPRESSION!!
then some medication and u are like without emotions ZOMBIE WITH PINK GLASSES:)
u must build some other u that is the only medicine.. open mind for a diferent view and nothing else matters
TomiBT87 2 years ago
@TomiBT87 "Building a new you" is your solution? I've been having panic attacks as a result of a heart condition since I was 13 years old, I have changed a lot over the years, but none of it effects a condition like this...learning how to live WITH it, not let it control you is way more important than having to change your identity. How is that supposed to help? Try and reduce your anxiety, learn about coping, and tell everyone so they're prepared in the even that they are there. Thats important

Maybe your case is different, but I would say be careful with giving out general advice that might not translate across other situations

ive had anxiety for about 10 yrs, i thought i had controlled it until i quit drinking 4 months ago and now they are a daily thing, im taking medication (alprazolam) but im becoming dependent on the meds. they are only when needed but i use them to prevent an attack on a daily basis, but i think the best way is to talk to someone and to learn how to relax, this really sux, cant even plan a vacation w/ my family
pmanning1977 2 years ago
im 23 and suffer from chronic anxiety and i know what u mean. it affects just about every aspect of my life. i dont use meds as i dont wanna be dependent on them but i have steps i take to get through it. i cant go on holidays and sometimes cant even make it to my local pub
BigDiikPlayrrr 2 years ago
very similar ...i stopped going to family events on holidays...I rarely sleep...only way im showing my face at the local pub is if im wasted...My heart actually gets sore from the severe anxiety....i also suffer from pretty bad depression...im a hermit..never leave my apt. i have a very hard time looking people in the eyes...i get a uneasy feeling...life is very difficult for me..

Fjellmannen2008 2 years ago
did your right lung collapse? no nevermind, thats a silly question the disease would have kiled you by now
broadcastmyass4u 2 years ago
@Fjellmannen2008 lol, that's sleep paralysis, not a panic attack :0) Sleep paralysis is normal also, it can cause you to panic a little, but having a sleep paralysis episode and having a panic attack are totally different situations. It's like night and day.

what the fuck? I thought nobody could die off a panic attack and this guy needs paramedics?! Well thats my security gone right down the drain ..

ditto =S
EvilBlakBunny 2 years ago
@Daisyxpie No, you can't die from a panic attack, but you can die from a heart attack. No one knows which one it is unless they've been through it lots of times. Most people call the paramedics during the first time because they don't know what's going on. During my first panic attack, I thought I was having a heart attack because it felt like I was dying, so I got someone to call the paramedics. The feeling is absolutely terrifying, every time. There are breathin' techniques/meds that can help.
EminemLove24 2 years ago
when i had my first one i went to the hospital its your first reaction.i been having them for 6years
SSCARR009 2 years ago
I've had anxiety attacks since I was 5 or 6. I haven't died yet...(knock on wood.) Anyway, I don't think they can kill you unless you have a weak heart. Of course I'm not a doctor but I've never heard of someone dying from a panic attack.

@Daisyxpie You can die from them! If your unhealthy and in bad shape Your heart can just give up.
SamuelKing1oz 1 year ago
@SamuelKing1oz shut the fcuk up. Thats so not true. If ur heart stops during a panic attack its not from the actual attack, but from something else happening at the same moment. U cant die from a panic attack itself and the chance of something actually being wrong with ur body during a panic attack are really small.
mjoek 1 year ago
@Daisyxpie Its not that you can die, but people with sever anxiety disorders, like me, literally are 100% convinced that their death is coming from things like noticing something strange about your heart, say its beat is a little bit off, people with bad anxiety think it is a heart attack. You probably don't understand how it feels, Imagine being stuck in a coffin buried underground, trying to stay calm...
Dran4J 1 year ago
@Dran4J Man.. thats the most true thing ever. It can not be explained or understood. Every fucking time im absolutely convinced im gonna die. Even tho i know I've been thinking that every time... Its just weird and absolutely tiring
mjoek 1 year ago
@Daisyxpie
That's what happened to me with my panic attacks. Actually that's what happened to me my first seven full-blown panic attacks. PAs are different for people. Mine feels like I'm having a heart attack so I call 911.
yankbastard 1 year ago
@Daisyxpie You can never die from the actual panic attack. The paramedics will still come and help you and give you medications to calm you down. If the panic attack gets too intense fainting is the worst that could happen.

So the question is then WHICH IS WORST!
driftingfar 1 year ago

Smokie181 1 year ago
@Smokie181 hey im jonathan and im 16 years old.
the same thing happened to me that happened to you.
my hands and feet locked up and i was breathing too fast. i thought i was gonna die so it made me panic even more too! i just wanted to tell you that your not alone! what i do is hold my breath as long as i can and let it out.
TrippyMuch 1 year ago
@Daisyxpie You can't but you do feel like you need them. I've gone to the E.R. countless times because I thought it was so real and I'm still not doing any better. This looks more like a drug overdose or a heat stroke rather then an anxiety attack. Doctors or ambulance workers wouldn't need to put an I.V. on someone having an attack. Also, I don't get the music.
chubbykatze82 1 year ago
@Daisyxpie so ? Ive had really hard shit ass panic attacks when I try' to smoke some pot, and Ive been most of the times needing to go to the hospital or call an ambulance just b.c I think I'm dying and its what I need to survive, but wow they did nothing to me at the hospital and I'm still alive. amazing. I think lots of people looks for med asst when having panic attacks, it doesn't mean you are in "real" danger, its just adrenaline and negative placebo thoughts. cheers :)
luisugaldecascante 1 year ago
@Daisyxpie you can't die from a panic attack but you can hyperventilate to the point that you get way to much oxygen. This can cause your muscles to "for lack of a better term" cramp up, I had it happen to me one time.....I could not open my hands, my friends even tried opening them....its hard to explain.....that event led me to learn about using a paper bag to rebreath my own air for a little while therefore lowering my O2 levels. Panic attacks just plain suck, hang in there everyone!!!

@etarheel1 i knew you it! that you can get too much oxygen!
haveumetmark 9 months ago
@etarheel1 Paperbags and all that, don't work for everyone. I had my anxiety go from my chest, to my head. My head felt like.....Oh I dunno how to explain it.....You know how it feels to have your ears pop from the air pressure? That's how my head constantly feels like, and I hear clicking from my jaw at the same time. Then when it's in my chest, I feel an immense tightness in my chest....feel like I'm gonna die
HansumGent 6 months ago
@HansumGent I know exactly what you are talking about, I have had all of the above at one point or another. I describe the ear thing as a chemical reset of my brain.....i feel the "pressure" build in my ears......feel really weird for about a min like the out of body/dizzy feeling then the ears pop or clear and its over....takes about 20 min to come down from the adrenalin dump, shakey hands etc etc............as for the chest tightness it is from muscle tension......we live at such a high lvl
etarheel1 5 months ago
@HansumGent of muscle tension we don't realize how it makes our whole body react....using the start at your feet and relax all muscle groups on the way up help me with understanding when my whole body was all jacked up. theres too much to type here....just email me and we can talk about it...i have been dealing with this crap most of my life.
etarheel1 5 months ago
it's not exactly that you inhale too much O2, but that you exhale too much CO2. It's complicated. look up hyperventilation on wikipedia.
futuredoc2014 2 months ago
@Daisyxpie you can hyperventilate
JazyGirl26 1 year ago
@Daisyxpie you can die! I've had experience with them. While you're having a panic attack your heart rate is outta control. and if it is not stopped a brought to control, it can stop on you.
songwritagurl20 1 year ago
@songwritagurl20 Only if you have a significantly bad heart defect. Think about it. Adrenaline (AKA: epinephrine) is the SAME thing they use to treat cardiac arrest along with paddles. How could something that revives the heart make it stop? It won't stop. Also, I've studied exactly how the central nervous system works to a tee. You have the sympathetic, which is what reacts to the surges of adrenaline and speeds up your heart and causes the other symptoms. And then you have the-
mbthewisewolf 11 months ago
@songwritagurl20 - parasympathetic nervous system, which is a fail safe mechanism to protect you from yourself. If the panic attack gets too bad or lasts too long, it will activate and your heart rate and blood pressure will drop. Sometimes you will even pass out. It's the same reason you get so tired after a fight or after being scared of something. In fact, skydivers have below average heart rates when they land. What else would cause that? Don't scare people with misinformation.
mbthewisewolf 11 months ago
@Daisyxpie he doesn't need paramedics but he called them anyways , and they are not sure whats wrong with him so they take him according to the way he looks , which is pretty much shitty , don't be a wuss :P
