@88omarz When making music, I use MOTU's Digital Performer software (although many others use Logic) along with a Mobile Pre interface from M-Audio. The MOX does have the ability to send signals digitally, directly into a computer, although I have not tried this yet.
I remember getting Houserocker, and a few of your other MIDI files from AOL before I think it even offered Internet access. I still have them, too, after several computers have come and gone. Thank you.
can you make a video with a all the ryhtms, example, bossa, samba, salsa, cumbia, tango, bolero, cha cha cha, soft rock, balada, merengue, lambada, all the latin rythms. tanks for all your videos. they are great.exelents. magnificos. muy buenos gracias, y hasta pronto.
@jguadalupepineda1261 I have never made videos devoted to the drum sounds - an instrument like the MOX comes with hundreds - maybe thousands of drum patterns in it.
hi, nice,y have a question, are you speak spanish.? because , i am not speak english very well. and i have a lot questions for you. thanks you have a good one. bye and take care.
okay, thank you, i was referring to the speakers that were on display during your video though, i know you record directly to the computer . Thanks for your response.
@88omarz Sorry, a lot of people ask me this question thinking they are hearing the speakers. :) In any case, I have both M-Audio BX5a and Event 20/20 monitors.
would you recommend getting the mox8 over the 6 based on the action and the ability to get 88 keys or is it in your opinion not worth the extra money, am not too concerned with the price.
@88omarz Many people will disagree with me, but I have never been interested in weighted-action keyboards for synthesizers. I am a pianist, and like weighted action for piano sounds. However, to me it is weird to play organs and synthesizer sounds with anything but synth action keyboards.
@david130653 The M3 has more features, but I wasn't using them. It is also a much heavier, and likely sturdier instrument. The keyboard action on the M3 is great, while the action on the MOX is mediocre. Ultimately I bought the MOX because I wanted the Motif XS sounds in a more affordable package. Ultimately I would prefer to have a new Motif XF6, but those are $2399. The MOX6 is half that amount.
@austinmcrawford Yep.... I bought it when it first came out, and have kept it. It think the Micro X has lots of great sounds. I have several Micro X demo videos here on YouTube.
@keybdwizrd I've been looking through your playlists, and I can't find it. I didn't see it Under Original Compositions and Improvisations so I don't know where else to look :P
ok thank you sir.

I know you used to have a Korg M3, how does the MOX compare to that?

How do you like the MOX6 compared to your Motif? I have a Motif ES6 and have always felt it was clunky and complicated to use.
cffellows 1 month ago
@cffellows The operating system in the MOX is very similar to that of the Motif and Motif ES.

Great to have some new demos, Michael. Wish you would come back to the keyboard more often. These long dry spells are painful!
