Thanks for sharing this. I met Pete Seeger over 40 yrs ago on a school field trip to see the Friendship sloop on the Hudson River. I remember my parents being apprehensive about it, because they said he was a communist (honest to god). What I found, was he was a kind, sensible and wonderful man and I learned to make my own decisions based on experience not hearsay. He changed my life at that moment. I am forever grateful. Wow what a night of pure love, peace & inspiration for All! You're sharp to recog. Shelli. And the party afterwards was spectacular. We got VIP status and hung out with neighbors Jay Ungar (the fiddler near our roof) & a host of others, like Oren Lyons who has been working closely on our "Iroquois Power for the 21st Century".
