Under your rule both fusion methods would have to create the same fusion and the only difference should be the time limit. Like 2+2 always equals 4, if you're right then because the same people are used despite the method used to fuse/solve, the end result should be the same. But it's not the case, instead theres 2 different fusions

An example being, how since Goku's power lvl is consistently higher than Vegeta's, he would have to lower his lvl to match Vegeta's thus it's not a true representation of their power. Potara however doesn't have this flaw or any other flaw for that matter and unlocks their true power. So in the same state Vegito would be stronger.

If we fuse via Potara, Geniron's power would be 1000000.1. But, if we do it through the dance, Moronius' power would be around 0.2. Or according to Daizenshu, Geniron's power would be 100000.

@SomethinDwnUrPantss You say that both fusions should be the same, but if we do it mathematically like you say there shouldn't be two separate fusions to begin with. Under your rule both fusion methods would have to create the same fusion and the only difference should be the time limit. Like 2+2 always equals 4, if you're right then because the same people are used despite the method used to fuse/solve, the end result should be the same. But it's not the case, instead theres 2 different fusions

@SomethinDwnUrPantss It suggest one fusion has to be stronger than the other. Old Kai says the Potara fusion is a more effective method than the fusion dance. An example being, how since Goku's power lvl is consistently higher than Vegeta's, he would have to lower his lvl to match Vegeta's thus it's not a true representation of their power. Potara however doesn't have this flaw or any other flaw for that matter and unlocks their true power. So in the same state Vegito would be stronger.

@alterera old kai said its better, but you cant prove he meant it power wise. he couldve also meant that the method is better, as in theres no chance to fail, and you dont defuse. and as for the powering down, fusion uses both of the peoples energy even if they power down. it doesnt only use the amount used to do the fusion.

The way Old Kai said it indicates he did mean power, he told Goku that the Potara earrings fusion is much better than the metamorese dance fusion but didn't mention that it was because the fusion was infinite, infact he didn't mention it at all until Kibito and Supreme Kai fused, as if that the fact you don't defuse is just a minor little detail. 2. You didn't disprove (but ignored)my comment about how 2 fusions mean there must be a stronger between the 2.

Lets say Goku's power level is 25000, and Vegeta's is 20000.
Gogeta 25000+20000=45000.

@shadows1422 No, if Base Vegito was ten times as strong as Base Goku, then SSJ Vegito would be ten times as strong as SSJ Goku, etc. Meaning that SSJ2 (I'm certain he could go SSJ2) would be equeal with Omega Shenron, which isn't right. Base Vegito's Power Level is 600,000,000, and SSJ Goku/Vegeta's Power Levels are 360,000,000 each at the time, so Vegito is the two Base Powers combined, then x4 roughly, otherwise when he went SSJ, his Power Level would be over 2 Billion.
