In the highway code it states that you should pull over for emergency vehicles on blue lights, Ive been driving fire engines for over 15 years and lost count the number of times ive had to swerve to avoid arseholes who dont have a clue how to drive!!

No wonder EFAD stands for Extremely Fast and Dangerous.

well you can kinda tell by the pitch. The buzzers are digital buzzers. In Fairfax County we use Q sirens and a digital in medics and Engines, Towers, Trucks, etc. etc. And The Fairfax County buzzers are so loud. They Vibrate the Engine when you pull the string. These buzzers sound like loud washing machine buzzers.
on my PRL we have wails yelps two tones, two tone air horns and a bull horn. i dont think they will ever get rid of 2tones as lots of people associate that with fire services
