  • The only acceptable violence is the violence of love.

  • You can play this clip over and over again and the dumbass republicunts will still come the same ol bullshit line; MLK was a republican. A Lincoln repub yes, a Newt, Romney, Bachmann, Perry, Boehner repub, HELL NOOOOOOO!

  • @NewarkBrickCity1970

abraham lincoln was a shitty racist.

  • ... he wouuld support ron paul.. RON PAUL 2012

  • How prophetic, Communist China is going to take over and it knows not God`s name.

  • It's funny that he said that, because that's exactly what happened. Who's in debt to who?

  • Its unbelievable how his words still ring true today...we need to honor him and fight for change in a peaceful way.

  • There is a reason why it says his name, when he says that of the Lord's, they rest hand in hand with peace.

  • ‎"Don’t let anyone make you think God chose America as his divine messianic force, to be a sort of policeman to the whole world. I can hear God saying to America “You are too arrogant. And if you don’t change your ways, I will rise up and break the backbone of your power and place it in the hands of a nation that doesn’t even know my name.”

    -Martin Luther King, Jr.

  • Sometimes I think Christ came back in the form of MLK.

  • I really think that the best way for Ron Paul to get past the political pitfall of his supposed racism and the fact that he voted against MLK Day is to take out an advertisement (perhaps on MLK Day) that consists simply of the first 43 seconds of this clip followed by "I'm Ron Paul and I approve this message."

  • @magister343 That would only work if he meant it.

  • @magister343 I know! I've watched this clip several times, and except for the huge difference in stage presence (RP usually looking & sounding a bit awkward) they sound the same. Just started reading MLK's writings, wish I had read them a long time ago.

  • @icopaseticMHF They very much agree on foreign policy, but not on all matters. On domestic issues MLK was certainly to the left of Paul, although he was nowhere close to a Marxist as some have claimed. MLK's positions were libertarian, but not right libertarian. He drew on the works of Henry George and Thomas Paine to call for a guaranteed basic income paid for by taxes on natural resources. This places him in the Geo-libertarian camp, well left of Paul but not as far as Chomsky.

  • @magister343 yeah, I just read his story about his trip to India, He clearly sees a larger rule for government than RP, but certainly doesn't sound like a Marxist. Reading him, is almost as good as listening to him. Hear that booming voice in my head.

  • everone stop stop stop he mad every brown and black free from drinkning water foutens busses and everything else so you should think him you should not thank the white

  • @theonlyone246

nope, his backers were atheists, and communists.

  • When I see poor people, black or white, homeless, lying on the street, I know that not everyone didn't care and wouldn't do nothing about it. When I hear about all the people thrown in prison or insane asylums for life I know that not everyone wouldn't care and do nothing about it. When I might be one of those people, and I think of MLKing, I know that not everyone wouldn't care, and do nothing about it.

  • break america's backbone, like an earthquake.

  • this is so powerful

  • President Obama needs to listen to this. Perhaps then he won't be silent as muslims in the Middle East and Africa kill Christians.

  • @ConnectionMagazine i just agree with you

obama should not be silent when christian are persecuted, oil and finance makes him shut up, or, he may just don't care,

but as you americans pray, God can touch him.....

know america, that we, here in europe looked at you, as a hope too, for you have blessed the world with the gospel. Turn back to God !

  • The world has been warned.

  • MLK would vote for RON PAUL :) do your own research for 2012 and vote a man in that stands for these ideals.

  • @tred4ronpaul2012 Uh didn't Ron Paul say he was against the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and no Gold Medal for Rosa Parks??

  • @Crisgo3d He said he would have voted against a portion of the Civil Rights Act because it takes away property/business rights of individuals, not that he was against the entire premise. Individuals liberty and freedom seem to be most important to Ron Paul. Exactly why is that bad? I want to have liberty and be free don't you?

  • @HaphazardCrappola Ya but that gives a business a right to discriminate.

  • @Crisgo3d Why would you want to do business with people who discriminate in the first place?

  • @Crisgo3d Wasn't that the entire premise of the Boycotts during the civil rights movement? If you want to discriminate you wont get any business from us? Its a pretty successful strategy not only do you not get business from one group of people, you also do not get business from people who sympathize as well. Business loses money and may eventually close down.

  • @tred4ronpaul2012

No he wouldn't bc Ron Paul does not give a damn about the poor. Dr. King was as much anti-poverty as he was anti-racism. His proposed economic plan was revealed in his Poor People's campaign where he suggested that the government make sure everyone has a job and provide a living pension for those who could not which is in no way parallel to Paul's agenda. Ya'll really need to quit using this man to promote your political agenda, it's pathetic. Ron Paul's not gonna win anyway.

  • This is happening right now. China are taking over

  • Too late. Now a red storm is rising.

  • Thanks FBI, Mob, and CIA for collaborating on the assassination of this great man. I knew he obstructed your industrial means in the vietnam war, and posed as a threat to the greater white population. We know, and we understand. But one thing you do need to know is that the heart of the common man perpetually beats, and will we fight for our democracy until the bitter end.

  • Great recording of my old friend Martin. My old friend Martin also said, "of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane."

  • Thank you for posting. Martin Luther King, Jr. was one of the greatest men of my lifetime. He was not killed by James Earl Ray.

    Read:

An Act of State: The Execution of Martin Luther King by William F. Pepper

You can buy a used hardcover at amazon . com for under fifty cents. Great book.

People should know the true history of that day.

  • America's chicken has come home to roost. I believe this is what got him assassinated, when someone speaks truth to power that someone is now a threat to the powers that be.

  • I'm ashamed to call myself an american. A nation of fat arrogant imbeciles who's

    time is way overdue.

  • @710scarletreaper a nation of arrogant MLK, JR. supporters...

  • This warning given by God through the voice of Martin Luther King is a warning that Americans today have ignored. That prophecy of America's backbone of power being broken is happening now. China is getting a piece of that backbone of power. It's no wonder why the sale of GM cars in China have surpassed GM car sales in the USA for the first time in history! There is a small example of America's backbone of power being broken and passed on to someone else.

  • @sheltv100

It is being done by the current cronies inhabiting DC. Ironic that it is who it is dong it...and sad. Dr. King would surely chasten his choice of pastor and associates- liars, tax cheats, and more appointees lacking integrity.

  • @mercedes; The backstory is that the Civil Rights movement like the Tea party movement, Sons of Liberty, letters to the Governors, Guardians of the Free Republic whether they know it or not; linked to the Masonic/Jesuit/Illuminati/Zionist conspiracy for a world Government. The Civil Rights movement known by MLK (Boule Society), was DESIGNED to start a civil war not freedom. This is why the government (secret Societies) assassinated him. Same for JFK, Robert Kennedy and Malcolm X.

  • Thank you

  • i love this first speech what is is called and is the full speech posted??????

  • Martin Luther King Jr.: "Why I Am Opposed to the War in Vietnam"

Sermon at the Ebenezer Baptist Church on April 30, 1967

  • Great man... What a loss to the world.

  • Well done! Thank you so much for sharing!

  • I wonder how Dr. King would feel about a supposed "black man" though an imposter, is the one that is bringing about a nation that does not even know His name? Ironic, don't you think.

  • @pusuitoftruth

Excellent observation and what a question to pose!

  • "Injustice anywhere, is a threat to justice everywhere." - AWE-SOME! 10... thanks for the vid!

  • WOW. THIS IS POWERFUL.

  • America has had no greater patriot, prophet and friend than it had in Martin Luther King Jr.

Would that every nation could give birth to the same.

  • @sircha01

Dr. King would defer to Jesus Christ the words you used to describe him.

  • @sircha01 he was a Marxist, an adulterer, a plagarist, and a moral scoundrel...

  • @samadamspatriot - spoken like a misinformed, bellicose American racist. There is no substantial proof on the fact that he was an adulterer, let alone a marxist. You know who propagated wire-tapping on MLK? The racist, fbi director Hoover. He hated blacks, and tried as hard as he could to find SOME dirt on MLK. And what "dirt" he found was not substantial. He virtually lied about MLK being a marxist. There were marxist, black supporters of king, but he did not represent marxism.

  • @samadamspatriot - as for adultery, his wife, as well as several close people in relation to King did not believe he was a promiscuous soul. Could he have cheated? We don't know. The kennedy's have cheated, but it does not mean they gave their lives for our country. MLK was a man of his own kind, and a brave hero. There were several occasions where he almost died prior his "assassination". You're a bigot, and an idiot on technical terms. I suggest you read books, you impudent piece of filth.

  • @9ner There does seem to be some substantial proof that King was an adulterer. With last years flap about the Ron Paul newsletters, I investigated it. But, unfortunately I haven't kept that info handy, because, like you, I don't think it cancels King's work, so it is really not that important. One of the women who came forward and said she had a long term affair with Dr. King was one of the first African Americans elected to state senate. She seems to be a pretty credible witness.

  • @givebirthathome - I've further investigated into the adultery matter with King, and it is a possibility...but I do not believe it takes any power away from what he's accomplished. Human beings, in general, are very sexual creatures, to a point where I believe devout monogamy is a joke in the long run. King, of his powerful stature, horded in women. For him not to be sexually involved with a single woman is a miracle in of itself.

  • @9ner As I've mentioned, we agree on the point that King showed great bravery, and wisdom, and did great work. But, I'd have to quarrel with "devout monogamy is a joke in the long run"---it might be quite unavailable to some people (and King had to travel constantly)...its very important not to run down ideals--and monogamy is ideal for many people. Similarly, although abstinence is a joke for Bristol Palin, its clear that some young women very fortunate in their parent's guidance, do have

  • @9ner the opportunity to marry with a heart unsullied by prior broken attachments. We might find that too difficult to contemplate, that others have had better opportunities and less painful experiences, but if we don't....we just contribute to an atmosphere of nihilism that helps create more painful experiences for others in the future--by creating hopelessness about striving for something better---not something Dr. King would approve of! Read A Return to Modesty if you get the chance, its a

  • @9ner good book.

  • @9ner Georgia Power: " During her first term, less than a month before King's death, she spearheaded passage of a statewide open housing bill...

But her relationship with King was more than professional. As she revealed in her 1995 book, I Shared the Dream, their work together led to a love affair that continued until the last moments of his life."

  • @9ner Whoops--that should be Georgia Powers.

  • @sircha01 you know mlk slept with many hookers right? nobody is perfect american has had no great patriot haha i beg the differ george washinton

  • John F. Kennedy is on that level, J.F.K. exposed the Illuminati, but you are right tho, along with J.F.K., Martin Luther was one of the greatest men to ever walk this earth, he is a big hero of mine, and im a white male, but ii understand the message, we must not see race as a divider anymore, it is the elites plan to keep us divided

  • God Bless us all blck or white!

  • This is Gods man....Truth for all..

  • MLK's words are coming into fruition.

  • 3 The LORD is a warrior; the LORD is his name.the tribes of the world are from many colors and land.

look into your eyes and see your light.

fuc you caeser, fuc you royals, fuc you false prophet fuc you new world order beast

  • Every time i hear him speak it gives me hope that we will stop this evil from ruling the world.

  • thank GOD he was in america because now we know that the new world order is not the messianic force to be. thank you Martin Luther king for sharing your dreams with us.

  • shalom ! this is true to this day! the storms and the winds and the earth shaking is called judgement! not mother nature being upset! America has been warned! Now The Father is judging this whore! Those who follow truth escape from this beast and save urself! shalom

  • Although not as eloquent, given that MLK also was inspired by Black Liberation Theology (look it up), is it possible that the infamous Reverend Wright's comments share a common thread with the theology of MLK? Obama should try harder to make this point, and to explain how one can take from Black Liberation Theology, and in spite of the divisive rhetoric, still end up at having a dream of an America where people are not judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.

  • Obama absolutely should be making this point, but politically he's probably better off just leaving the subject and letting it die rather than addressing it. Especially since people could twist him referencing the government as arrogant as another unpatriotic statement. All in all, i would say he's better off letting the topic die.

  • Response appreciated and agreeable. I think when I first commented, there was still major backlash against Obama from the Reverend Wright controversy. I think we agree that Obama COULD or SHOULD have handled the situation better. But all in all, as you say, he should take advantage of the preferable timing of this revelation and let it fade from memories. GO BAMA!

  • Wow, who would have thought Reverend Wright would emerge again and make it worse. I think it is becoming more evident how poorly Obama has handled this situation. I always said from the beginning, that if he was always so ready to distance himself when necessary from this man, once he knew he had aspirations to take his political career nationally he should have separated himself from this reverend (like at least 5 years ago). I passionately support Obama's candidacy, but I can't apologize.

  • of course, let the topic die so that you can become president before making a stand that speaks truth and love. gotta win...win win win win win!

  • Whenever I listen to that first clip, it is just so powerful and moving that I want to weep. Good bless.

  • @MercedesSantiaga

The Word of God has that effect on ears that want to hear.

  • To think of the things that could have been if Martin and Bobby had lived.

I hope that we all realize that we need to stop watching TV and playing video games and get involved with our government once again. It is being bastardized by those whose greed and ARROGANCE have come to make us the scorn of the Earth.

God bless America? ... More like: God Help America.

  • I love that man.

  • rofl

  • This is proof that Bobby Kennedy, who said he was inspired by this inflammatory preacher, was really anti-American and probably a Muslim as well.

  • What papa said, but with the sarcasm button switched on. Bobby a Muslim? I guess that is kind-of like being a Catholic...

  • joke

  • His words still ring true today, especially true today. Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr. were amongst the greatest Americans of their generations to speak out against social injustice. To say that these men were nothing more than muslims, because they spoke out against injustice, simply makes yourself sound like you are clinging to an old, stale, and dead ideology. With such thoughts still in our minds, this world will tear itself apart.

  • Powerful.

  • really
