@muley180 it was built in 1920 by local farmers and loggers. no, it is no longer in use; the last train ran over it in 1979, and it had been abandoned since. it was in very bad shape; the province wanted to tear it down in 2007. the good news is that it is being restored, and the transcanada trail will go over it; it's scheduled to open in summer of this year.
Just curious, is the trestle still in use? It looks to be a little in disrepair. Do you know what year it was built? It looks really cool. Thanks

Wow, we used to walk over that 40 years ago and it was still an operational railway trestle, and was in great shape.
