what if you don't have the same router like you do because i have an older router and it doesn't have that button?

I have set this up for my upstairs PC, I plugged it into the PC with the Lan cable and powered it on, then hit the little sync button on the side and nothing happened it didn't go blue or anything so I went to my router and hit the same button and nothing happened again no lights -nothing. The power LED, Birdge LED & LAN 1 LED are all lit up on the 1522 but my computer says "Unidentified Network - No Network Access" I don't have MAC filtering turned on so it cant be that I need to add the MAC..

so my dap 1522 was working fine, but then i had to reconnect it because i accidentally unplugged the power cord, but now it wont let me sync it back to my wireless network, the sync button doesnt even light up when i press it, the orange LED showing that bridge mode is activated doesnt turn on,ive tried re plugging it back in, i ve tried resetting it(whatever that does) any suggestions?

Does this bridge also provide a wireless signal access point? Or does it only let you connect wired connections? I basically want to extend my wireless network.

i got a question for you, so i bought it for the same reasons but i want to connect to it wirelessly and i have a seperate router it's a belkin router which is there a way to connect the two together so i can connect to it wirelessly?

thank you for posting this made me think more about this wireless ap i only have a netgear b and g wireless router and i dont know if this d-link you were showing would be better for a access point or that other dlink with 3 antennas coming out of it that you had as your access point
