My favorite scene! A special "miracle" for two little girls..one, from the Netherlands, who never expected to be singing with Santa..in Dutch..and an eye opener for little Natalie, who's beginning to believe there might be something special about Santa after all.

My favorite minute in the whole wonderful movie, though I couldn't understand much more of the song than "Sinterklaas". It's really sweet to see the little Dutch girl's eyes light up and for Sinterklass to lift her up and start singing with her. Her briefly-related background as a war-orphan adopted into America creates an immediate bond, like we know her and feel the pain of her past and her delight in the present moment. I've happily sang the song for years, not knowing the meaning until now.
