@luketpayne10 Technically speaking, "Ronin" means "Lord-less" or "Peace-less", Ronin are Samurai that have lost their lorod, or left him in dis-hornor or something like that. In RL, they used to travel about as mercenaries, bodyguards, raiders, highwaymen, bandits or performers(They would put on shows with their weapon skill).

ikko ikki meant "Ikkoshū Uprising". The Ikko were mobs of peasant farmers, Buddhist monks, Shinto priests and local nobles. The ikko would rise up and capture provinces. Eventually there growing strength and the threat they posed led to their defeat by legendary generals such as Nobunago and Ieyasu. The last of the Ikko were courted by Toyotomi and fought alongside him.

beat this campaign 1st day DLC came out =P i took Asai's land and made hatorri my vassel to hold the east. then pushed south west to how you did with the tokugawa i think. then at realm divide i fought the weakened hatorri and took kyoto ^^

He started out on youtube with Empire: Total War, and has amassed a following ever since. beware of the shoni, in my campaign they repeatedlt landed invasion forces even though they were on the other side of the map. im playing wolrd domination and the real divide only made 3 clans go to war with me :) also i remember you said you didn't think that the shogun didn't attack you but my allies were walking through kyoto a lot and the shogun attacked them every time :D

Ronin are wandering or masterless samurai, Ikko Ikki cannot train samurai, but they can train Ronin, which are .. I guess, more "independant" samurai.. anyhow, I think their stats are the same as regular samurai units, but I may be wrong.

The Ikko-Ikki were militant buddhists who followed the teachings of a branch of buddhism called "The true pure land school" and specifically a monk named Rennyo. During the Onin war Rennyo was forced to flee to the mountains and followers began to gather around him. Rennyo was a pacifist but that didn't stop his followers from rising up and using violence.
