Its me again, now u know the pentatonics pratice the whole scales and combine it pentatonics. Then add 2 or 3 slides in this pattern and tadaa - u have a cool riff. If u play pentatonic scales do as much hammer ons u can, uf u add scales notes, then just pick every single note.
and the third: if u hold one note (u did often) then aways add vibrato and it sounds more authenic.
learn more scales and practice that... dont be on one thing a lot of time. and practice sweep picking and make yours arpegios from hell, oh hell.. and make better video
look at a scale chart and you will learn how to solo and shit. my favorite scales are any pentatonic or blues scales. these two scales are the easiest to learn from (atleast i think so) and you will shred and all that nonsense in no time if you practice scales
All you have achieved is locating the right areas to put your fingers, your technique leaves a lot to be desired. No excuses (i.e your phone) your just plain shod. 45 years old by the look of things and completely shite. Get a life
dude i dont care what anyone says, i use the pentotonic scale and it works perfect for me and my band. so rock on dude. in the words of eddie " who cares about the rules, if it sounds good, use it "
I think when you practice always play a chord progression. say a I IV V or VI II And lesten,to YOUR solo over the chords. If pentatonic is all you know, thats cool,go slow music is a hearing art.if you cant hear it you can't play it.
ya get some better pickups.. but other than that it was good.. i've been playin guitar for like 5 years... but my friend who plays lead in my band is REALLY good at these improv solos.. good job
to the idiots who say the pentatonic is the most boring scale around, try telling that to jimmy page. you guys are truly indie shit heads, man. youtube critics are the biggest collection of posers around, the know-it-all scene kids who hate anything popular. takes a real fuckin poser who plays guitar (just can't write a song to save his life) to say something so stupid.
No problem dude, i will post some other stuff on my channel in a few days, i learnt all the scales and modes many a year ago... The power of the five note scale can be awesome though...Dont be hating, be nice. Peace
ur good

fourth and final: improvise over at least 2 chords, never One, then it will get feeling - combine slow with fast play and perfect... ;-)
u got high potential - play a bit slower and add some reverb, its more fun. Greetz!

true, the pent scale IS the most common scale used in soloing, especially in different modes.
Hax0r3r 5 years ago
what different modes are you talking about? Modes are different to the pentatonic mode. Mixolydian etc.. dimwit
thepoise 5 years ago
there is no such thing as a pentatonic mode. kthx
