i had the silver addition wheel, and the wheel sits so low on the base that it is impossible to spin it any distance. i rectified this by placing a strip of tape over the hole in the center of the base's underside where the wheel set into the base. that made the wheel raise a few millimeters, enough to make the wheel spin freely.
