I don't think any of the castlevania games are lacking in the music department, no matter how old or new. Can that be said about mainstream xbox 360 and ps3 games? I don't think so.

@SirSteaven93 well every 2D castlevania has had the staircase to the left up where you fight dracula (except Dracula X, no not the one you are talking about i mean the other one but anyway that one points to the right)

I played OoE through to the end two weeks ago and I can happily report that the music is very good in that installment of Castlevania as well. You will enjoy it. :)

Also, I've been playing Castlevania Judgment and that music is just superb. Great remixes of old school Castlevania songs! :D

OoE has fine music -- particularly when they get to the last castle with the library and all those papers strewn on the floor -- but this game, I think, has the edge.
