  • ребятки кирпичей наложили, после удара уже заносили в машину))

boys left their bricks, after hitting a car to carry the already))

  • It was close but not extremely close - my guess from personal experience would say the bolt hit about 250-350 yards (I have similar shot in one of my videos). The reflection from the camera lens creates a ghost image of the original bolt and makes it appear to be 10 ft in front of the camera when, in reality, it is much further away.

If that bolt hit where it appeared to hit they'd likely be dead or knocked over.

  • @Luka56c

Youre a dumbass, lightning doest always strike the tallest object, it strikes the object with the highest positive charge, and lightning happens much faster than thunder does, so there would be a delay sherlock...smh you dont know shit

  • People, don't tell me that you fell for that one.

    It's like 100 % fake for sure!

    Hear that thunder sound? FAKE!

    See the lightning picture? FAKE!

Lightning to thunder time? TOO LONG! FAKE!

And lightnings don't just hit ground like that if there are higher objects around, like that car, or the people!

    F A K E ! ! !

  • Even tho thats close, thats a ghost reflection, lightning must be behind you all

  • WOHOO!

    Amazing!

  • fake

  • Sorry but that looked mad fake.

  • so fake

  • @quintics your so stupid

  • AMAZiiiiNG !!!!! yeaah, I like that !!

  • That's enough to make you wet your diaper!

  • Now the lightning was close, but no where but not as close as it looks, what WE saw was a reflection of the bolt on the lens of the camera known as a "ghost leader". Still rediculously close tho.

  • #1 way to s**t ur pants twice

  • SWEET

  • fucking amazing .

  • That was about 300 ft. I've seen one 300ft away (4 days ago and on vid too!) and the thunder actually took less time.

  • Amazing! - That took nearly .45 sec to hear the thunder clap! You were roughly .09 miles or 475.2 feet from the bolt - not close enough to be injured, but definitely close enough to witness something amazing!

  • It actually hit at or behind the tree line. The closer image is some sort of reflection of the bolt above. You can see it if you freeze the image. This illusion is common in almost all of the lightning strike videos. Obviously still very close.

  • fantastic catch!

  • its not close... as it looks... it isnt... maybe a few k's away coz the thunder didnt come straight after the lightning

  • In 2006 a lighting a strike came from a storm miles away and hit a soccer feild and killed the coach

  • Yeah, I'd haul ass back into the bus, too,

    if that happened!

  • look at it carefully. there are 2 lightning showed at the same time, the red or purple one is the real lightning, and the yellow one on the bottom half is a reflection of it, it has the same figure as that of top half of the real one. so it's not so close, more close one is here:watch?v=o1X9YG5LSPI

  • its not fake u idiots!!! its just ghosting on the camera lens the camera lens is glass and all glass reflects its just the lightning reflecting off the glass in the camera! it was pretty close as there wasnt even a second before the thunder!

  • So, this isn't the real lightning, only a reflection?

  • so fake.if it was that close they would be deaf.If it was that THAT close they would have been shocked.the camera did not even jolt that much, looked like it was just laid over the lens with something. If you just watch some others they are completely different.

  • I think it's fake when I compare it to this one.

    watch?v=bDJkmqPdUnY&NR=1

  • It's not fake. It's because this one is not so close.

  • WOW you guys are fortunate not to have that strike you!

    Awesome vid!!

  • definitely no fake youll notice that day lightning looks very different not only to the camera but to your eye. it appears thinner and less bright, plus half of the time the lightning is actually there its not bright enough to see in the day

  • Its not fake. You have not seen a real strike before obviously, or you are jealous.

    Great capture 5/5

  • fake

  • Looks like fake to me...

  • me too

  • AMAZING!!!!

  • You know you're dealing with storm chasers when lightning hits 30 feet away and they're all like WHOOOHOOO!!!

    :)

  • @joesmoe71 i kno right

  • I Dunno What To Believe :L

Ive Been Striked 10 Metres Away From A Bolt And The Noise Was Like A Bomb, And It Was The Moment The Bolt Hit The Ground,, But You Would Have Been Dead Or Throw About 40Metres In The Air If It Was That Close Lol

  • i would say thats the closest strike video ive seen yet.. you guys are extremely lucky to be alive!

  • lol ok lets get in the car now

  • i remember when i was looking out from the window and suddenly like about 10 meters away from me there was huge lightning storm, that was scary

  • that lightning was about where those trees were in the background. The one that seems like its 5 feet away is a ghosting effect and is not real.

  • Well...technically it is "REAL"...just a ghost leader...like you said...

  • That is NO fake! Pretty crazy! Glad you all were safe!

  • lol? it strikes near you and sound come second after? thats fucking fake burn in hell

  • No bro....thats real...trust me...the close strike is called a Ghost Leader...a reflection of the actual bolt on the lens...

  • Thunder is after lightning lightning is where the noise comes from shit what you learn in school I'm going to 8 Th grade and I'm smarter than you

  • oh yeah that was real you see the camera get all fuzzy? it WAS CLOSE. and thats no joke and no fake. hes lucky to be alive.

  • thats not fake you can hear it cooking the air around it right before the thunder. that's when you know your to close. hes just lucky it wasn't a stronger bolt.

  • Just missed that car - and y'all! Wow. Too close, indeed. Adding to "Lightning" playlist, five stars, excellent!

    *StormSpinner1* in Texas

  • thats was close.

  • This was no fake, turn the volume up then you will realize how loud it was. :-)

  • First off...lightning doesnt leave "dents" in the ground...2nd off...thats called a ghost leader...its a reflection of the lightning bolt across the lens...that was a close strike no doubt but its not like it was 4 ft away from them...

  • How do you figure that?.

  • that´s not fake you dumbass.

the lightning strikes in the powerline.

and you can hear the cracking thunder not so loud as in the real.

  • how the hell was that fake? DONT KNOW WHAT LIGHTNING IS?? then dont BOTHER BEING ALIVE!!

  • That is as close as it gets!

  • when you said "ooooookkkkkkk", i thought of waynes world.

    " oooooooookkkkkkkkk, game on"

but fuck that must have been insain. amazing you did get your brains fired.

  • LOL! Why do we always laugh when that happens? Maybe because we are relieved to have survived? Anyhow, GREAT catch, and I'm glad you are all ok.

  • I bet the resultant blast from that bolt nearly lifted you all off your feet. You are brave to film, I would be too scared lol

  • Dang, too, too close! Bet you felt the heat from that one - glad you're okay.

    *StormSpinner*

  • damn, that was too close for comfort!

  • lol that was like 20 feet away, they all lucky.

  • We certainly were

  • Wicked shot... It's a good thing you didn't get fried!
