@ecv03 this was the middle of September. I think that's the best time to get into the mountains around here. The mosquitoes have died, the days are still long, and the weather is perfect.
What an inspiriing video man... One day I would really like to see all of the PCT. Ive done tiny parts of it and I am already amazed with its beauty. I LOVE BACKPACKING! It totally lifts up a man's spirit. Thanks again for the vid!
I struggle with the idea of God or a God(not saying that God doesn't exist)but when you see something that beautiful and amazing, it's hard for me not to believe, what an incredible gift that has been bestowed upon us... Either way. Thank you for sharing your video. PEACE.
I liked your low key style & the appropriate music.... very nice. Is the trail well marked or do you need to use navigation skills? Also, what advice would you offer to someone wanting to do the PCT?
Thanks a lot. The trail in this section is very well maintained. It isn't really marked, but it's hard to miss it. It's a clearly visible footpath, unlike the AT where you can easily get lost for lack of a visible path on the ground. You don't necessarily need navigation skills if you're staying on trail, but they're good to have. My advice would be to lighten your pack as much as possible w/o sacrificing too much comfort. If possible do some pct hikes so you know what it's like beforehand.
What time of year did you flim this?

@Ekulytes Hey, thanks. Backpacking really is a refreshing and renewing experience. I liked your soloist video. HIking solo is a different experience.

Thanks for watching. It was Mig Lake. You could stand on the shore and see all of the fish swimming around.

Do you plan to do a thru hike? Or have you already done that on the PCT? Sounds like you did the AT already...?
