  • His comedy is timeless, and still ahead of his time, he broke all the rules on purpose and no apologies.

  • lol, he'd have really loved dick cheney, living for years with no heart....

  • Bill: "The guy's like Jason...I'm back! AHHH! AHHH! AHHH!

    Me: ROFLMFAO

  • Bill Hicks would have bn one of the greats if he lived longer.

  • haha i wonder what bill would say now that rick astley was probably the biggest Internet phenomenon ever.

Damn I miss this guy :(

  • Bill had a conscious experience unlike any other. I think he saw the world as it was and wanted to tell everybody to "squeegee their 3rd eye" as he always said and see it for what it really was: a full of shit, complete pretense, big fucking lie. If there weren't so many cuss words in his material I'd be all for putting this in schools and everything, people need to see this.

  • Ronald W. Reagan is and always will be the greatest American President of all time

  • @nicetomeetyou25 This is sarcasm right?

  • @comedyisgreat24 no what are you some obongo the nigger supporter get the fuck out of here that nigg nogg will be sent back to kenya where he was born on 1.20.13

  • @nicetomeetyou25 What?? This reply doesn't even make sense. Back to kenya? You do realize Kenya is an east African nation and that the slaves weren't even from that part of Africa right? Not that I care, I'm latino, not black, but still, people like you are the ones who bring the collective IQ of your country down. Idiot.

  • @nicetomeetyou25 You're exactly the kind of moron Bill was making fun of, just stop talking and typing, you'll seem smarter. xD

  • @nicetomeetyou25 If stupidity hurt, you'd be rolling on the floor. No offence!

  • @nicetomeetyou25 I'm sure he is worshiped in hell!!

  • @nicetomeetyou25 Where did that come from. He was one of the worse presidents ever, if you are asking.

  • This shit is too funny.

Dick Clark secretly being a wolverine from hell and mounting Chuck Woolery to shit out demon spawn like Oprah Winfrey and Kenny Rogers?

If he were alive today, I wonder who he would lambast to this extent.

  • love Bill, i just think its weird how women in the crowd all have perms and the guys have strange sweatshirts and tight pants what a strange era Bill was waaay ahead of his Time and he'd be amazed at the state of the world we are in, sure he'd still be doing the comedy bit if he was alive.

  • I've done a lot of drugs but I never looked at an egg and thought it was a brain.

  • If he thought the music was bad back then, he'd be livid with what's on the radio today.

  • jimi hendrix top ten american!!!

  • @46spoony "who the fuck is bill hicks?" - 46spoony. maybe you didn't bother to find out? To each thier own, but i don't think unorigial fits, give me one example of who he ripped off?

  • @juqual78 he seemed to touch on sam kinison's angst, primal scream and a few times at the end darkness in the act

  • @krisso247 I think Sam Kinison may have gotten ideas from Hicks

  • @juqual78 Be careful. It's dangerous to feed the trolls.

  • @46spoony

Okay, tell that to Britain where most of his fanbase is as well as the industry greats who admit that he is one of the best comics who ever lived.

  • @46spoony Where in the hell did you get that idea?

  • The funny thing is, Dick Clark is still alive all these years later - and now he even sounds like the antichrist!

  • 4:45 This woman is not amused

  • does anyone else notice that in many bill hicks videos his style makes him look is as if he is performing now in 2012? i dont mean this in a conspiracy way but his look was kind of timeless, its only when you see shots of the crowd that you know the stand up is from the 80s/early 90s and obviously certain current references to popculture of the time period.

  • @africaRBG

He is so timeless it is spooky.

  • @africaRBG I think also alot of his topics are still very current, smoking, drugs, war, some of the politicians have changed, but they are still doing the same things. He was just a funny bitter comedian and that's what makes it. I think the intelligence of his comedy shines through as well which makes it timeless.

  • The only good thing about him dying is the fact that they wouldn't let him smoke in every venue he would play in these days. Could you imagine him performing without smoking?! ahahah wow he would have a mental breakdown.

  • what's with all the breast links on the right. I watch a few Bill Hicks videos and suddenly all these breast suggestions come up. Huh?

  • @barryhawk23 Huh? All I have are Bill Hicks suggestions on my right... what the heck were you watching before you came on here?

  • Does bill hicks only have about 3 jokes or what....

  • @paddymourinho no, he has an able brain.

  • @mrjollypantsjolly What the fuck are u on?

  • @paddymourinho

What the fuck are YOU on? Bill was extremely topical and had jokes on many subjects at the drop of a hat. Watch his early stuff.

  • HAhahaha! that chick at 4:44 is TRAPPED...she hates his ass.

  • Hendrix was murdered.

    Read his autopsy report.

  • Everyone here loves Bill. He took heaps of drugs to expand his mind and later on he stopped. I know lots of pot-heads who are just wastoids playing PS3 and become vegetables, and other pot-heads who are into philosophy, science and into expanding their consciousness. Drugs don't make the man, the man makes the drug experience. I've been watching Bill Hicks for more than 20 years and love the guy, he's sorely missed. You guys are just elitists who are full yourselves. Bill would have cringed.

  • @CBR11X

wow great comment ! ( your 100% correct on all points )

  • @ZEITGEISTism Peace to you bro.

  • @CBR11X

Thank you ! peace to you to bro

btw Im not a guy ...Im a chick!

    PS

Happy new year to you my friend !

  • @CBR11X Sorry! Peace to you sis.

  • @CBR11X Perfectly said bro! I used to be part of that number. I just drank ate mushies and smoked played ps2 watch tv all day and rarely read anything. Though my mind was naturally drawn towards philosophy, I just had no direction n friends who were like minded. So I just baked! After my mid 20's that's when everything began to change. Got my own place grew my own weed and just study and researched as all my buddy's play PS3 literally ALL FUCKING day. Pathetic complacent sheep

  • @seppukuification925 Same is true here brother. I always loved reading and so forth, I first heard Bill Hicks in 12th grade and his words resonated inside me, but it wasn't until my mid twenties that I started to get my ship in order. I still play the PS3, but all in moderation bro. With so much information available to us all with the internet, you don't need schooling to get educated. We are indeed living in amazing times. Peace :-)

  • MAGIC ! Bill Hicks is still and always be..... a breathe of fresh air (inspiration manifested)

  • I'm sure Bill smoked a tonne of weed in his time. He was a great guy who ate his body weight in mushrooms as he used to say. Not only that he just rickrolled us all.

  • @CBR11X

He smoked weed, but he didn't really like it, That is a big misconception about him. However, he did love mushrooms, and he took heroic doses. There is way more to it than him just getting fucking ripped though.

  • bill maher STOLE that "he's like jason" part : (

  • That oprah fart was just like the real thing..

  • Comment removed

  • who the fuck you gonna watch from 23 years ago who can still

make ya wince--Bill had the balls to say it..And yeah, those people

he accused of being demons--sell-outs every one.

  • got to love the mullet and the last level of douchebagery achieved by Bill Hicks. :P i still love ya Bill, even if you sound like an asshole

  • Bill Hicks is AWESOME!

  • Stop bringing this stupid internet bullshit about Rick Rolling into Bill Hicks' comedy.

  • I wanted to make a witty "rick rolled" comment.

KNEW that the top 2 comments would be witty rick roll ones.

    Scrolled down anyway.

    lol'd

Resisted posting another rick roll comment.

    Read all the unfunny ones.

    Wrote this comment instead.

  • I do believe we just got....Hicksrolled.

  • Why is it when I try to share this on Facebook it gives some bullshit but doesn't actually put the video on there. Big brother fascist assholes!

  • @sheliadianehughey It's does the same thing when I try to share this video on FB.

  • Watching Hicks perform was like an experience. I'm amazed at the man's foresight, wisdom and clarity. He was truly ahead of the curve-he made people question their existence and the nature of reality at a time when this sort of information was alien to most of the people's thought processes. It seem's Hicks knew about the elite's homosexual blackmail network ala Bohemian Grove, the Finders and the Franklin Cover-up.

    Hicks RIP!!

  • @pmsan29

whilst i agree with you in terms of Bill Hicks foresight, to engender the notion that previous minds had not contemplated the nature of existence is fucking stupid. yes, in a temporal and contextual sense Hicks offered something entirely unique, yet, any cursory glance at existential philosophy will disprove and devaluate your point. Research in future?

  • R egan? the worst? worth killing? look at who we have now! Chill bill!

  • @modelprisoner Dude, Regan called the Taliban the moral equivalent to our founding fathers. The guy was actually evil while Obama is just a huge pussy.

  • Classic! Bill Hicks just rick-rolled us from his grave! LoL!

  • Love this soul

  • Put on 'Cliffs of Dover' while watching this. It's fucking awesome.

  • Im not such a big fan of this set...he has better ones

  • The chick at 4:43 didnt put out that night. Go see madonna.

  • Fuck I haven't laughed that hard in forever!! I thot I'd heard ALL of Bill Hicks material... love that there's bits like this out there. Thanks for posting!!! I BELIEVE BILL'S NAME BELONGS WITH THE LIST HE MENTIONED THAT WERE TAKEN TOO SOON. Surgical Reckless Abandon...

  • 3:17 !!!!!!!!!

  • @dearpsychonaut lol thought the same

  • HAHA that man doesn't give a shit :D:D

  • I would have so pocketed his ciggie stub!

  • King end of discussion if anybody think differently he is wrong

  • I MISS BILL

  • I like Barry Maniloe :(

  • Sylvester Stallone?Why!?

  • OMG, FUCKING HILARIOUS.

  • brutal.

  • "Jimi Hendriz died in a pool of his own vomit; you know how much vomit it takes to fill up a pool!" - Bill Hicks.

  • @DaBoulDick Victor Lewis Smith stole this joke.

  • I LOVE THIS!! OMG! THIS GUYS A FUCKING GENIUS!

  • great upload many thanks

  • @dragoran

He was definitely before his time, wasn't he?

  • Genius! Man he was one funny bastard!

  • hahaha i LOVE the ending! i don't think he mentions oprah in any of his other shows that were recorded! i should really send this to my roommate (who loves oprah...) ;)

  • did EVERY guy wear a blazer in the 80s?

  • @sumsocrates ya

  • hick roll

  • 3:19 holy shit is there something beyond faving I can do for this video? And don't say share it on Facebook that site is shit.

  • Lets not forget that fat fuck Americans managed to murder most of these visionaries.

  • Did Bill Hicks just rickroll me?

  • People there where laughing and being scared at the same time.

  • hicks, stanhope, carlin, lenny bruce, brought philosophy to the realm of comedy, there are no more stages left where someone will listen to an idea from an average man putting out his outlook on life that may change the thinking pattern of someone else comedy is without a doubt the last stage of philosophical thoughts and chatter

  • CAN´T GET ENOUGH OF BILL !! HE JUST CRACKS ME UP EVERY FUCKING TIME.. THERE SHOULD BE A GENIUS HEAVEN WHERE YOU JUST FIND HIM EVERYTIME YOU WANT... FUCK THAT'S MY KINDA HEAVEN

  • Have some taste, have decency lol, Rolling Stones reference there.

  • couldn't agree more about Reagan

  • @speedformercy ur a noob, he filled all his cigarettes with weed u homo and smoked em on stage, why do think he was so good? theres no question in my mind that bill was disgusted with tobacco.. who wouldnt be

  • @AlexMacarie Yeah RIGHT!

  • @danlikeshisdog well seeing as he thought, and I quote, "I think weed should be MANDATORY" and then he also said once, "don't classify weed as a drug man, its a fuckin herb" so..... he speaks for himself

  • @AlexMacarie Doesn't mean he smoked weed on stage though does it. I totally agree with Bill and smoke weed myself, but calling someone a homo and saying he, and I quote, 'filled all his cigarettes with weed' is a bit of sweeping statement to say the least.

  • @danlikeshisdog the beatles did the same thing... i would have done the same thing if i was bill also.. seriously, cigarettes are gross, there's no way you can convince me that bill didnt realize this and kept smoking them.. he bashed the cigarette companies all the time..

  • @speedformercy sorry i meant that to @southpark3003

  • 5:39 Holy shit, it's SHAY CARL!

  • I know about the cigarettes from personal experience... not the heroin

  • did bill hicks just rick roll me?

  • Only one word for Bill: GREATNESS

  • cigarettes are harder to quit than heroin...

  • @MisterWite1 do you know this from personal experience?

  • now hicks is added to that list... :(

  • gotta love hicks

  • Bill Hicks? Cancer? Or Modern Murdered?

  • A role only playable by the most good and illusion free. its not pretty to see sometimes but the corruption he speaksabout does not stick to him

  • I love the sam kinison references here. 2 greats

  • manson killed some pretty annoying celebrities. yay

  • He was high for this show.

  • @majorporpoise more like coke or mdma trust me i've been there :P

  • bill hicks talks about jay leno.. bill hicks is a corporate lackey to the tobacco industry.

  • @southpark3003 what kind of loser attempts to make fun of bill hicks. the guy dedicated his life to exposing evil, including tobacco companies...

  • @southpark3003 "corporate lackey"???? Are you fucking kidding me? You should get your facts straight before you make an idiotic statement like that. I don't what your point about Leno was, but he's actually a corporate lackey as well as a fucking cheeseball who should've retired a long time ago. Hicks is a legend and who gives a fuck whether he smoked cigarettes off and on during his career??

  • @SecretAgent068 big tobacco = one of the largest corporate monsters out there. are YOU fucking that ignorant? shut the fuck up and die bitch.

  • @southpark3003 Yes I know all about "big tobacco" jackass. So what's your point? Calling Hicks a corporate lackey just shows your juvenile intellect. Oh, and the "shut the fuck up and die bitch" line is simply brilliant. For a 5th grader you seem to know a lot about corporate monsters and comedians who are actually funny and have something relevant to say.

  • @SecretAgent068 shut uup and die noob

  • @southpark3003 Yet another super intelligent statement. Junior gets grumpy and says stupid shit when he hasn't had his nap. "Shut up and die"???...damn you are a 5th grader!!! Go back to the kiddie pool and leave us grownups alone.

  • @SecretAgent068 shut uup and die noob. Bill hickks will forever be a corporate lackey.

  • @southpark3003

    Utter Bollocks.

Bill Hicks was a prophet. Your just too stupid and enslaved by the life long indoctrination of fascist, globalism to see it.

  • @AlexMacarie

He did not smoke weed. he did not like it. but he believed in legalization of it because he believed in freedom, he had no problems with weed. just wasn't for him.

please read up on this man before spewing garbage you piece of shit.

  • @samaramasexpot aaaree you joking? he beleived in fucking MANDATORY marijuana.... uhhhm yeah okay buddy say whatever the fuck you want, and even then beatles emptied allt heir cigarette packs and filled them up with joints and even went as far as to hot iron the plastic wrap carefully shut again to look as though they had never been opened.. this man was a hip man, im sure he was hip to what was happening and to the truth, so please read up on the world before spewing garbage, YOU piece of shit

  • @samaramasexpot Wow. You're horribley un-informed. I guess you haven't watched his bit about believing Marijuana should be mandatory for everyone? Seems like you don't really know much about him or what he believed, to be honest.

  • @Idlethumb88

Go To Kevin Booth's blog on the sacred cow website first, now it clearly says "One of the biggest misconceptions was that he smoked pot." Bill believed in freedom of your own body. He just didn't like pot. so how dare you try to lecture me on something you clearly have no idea about, just because you watched some youtube clip of him talking about pot doesnt mean you know a fucking thing. instead of immediately trying to call me out, you do some research first.

  • @samaramasexpot Watch his fucking routine, you idiot. He has talked about times he was smoking weed and done a whole bit about mandatory marijuana. That doesn't mean he was a stoner that done it all the time, but he did. The same way he was doing coke on a video with Sam Kinison, that doesn't mean he was a cokehead. If he says so himself, why would you try and argue with him about what he did and didn't do?

  • @Idlethumb88 I never sd he never smoked weed, he tried weed, he didnt like it. At the time he died, he wasnt doing drugs anymore. You are completely missing the point of any of his routines, He was preaching freedom, freedom of choice, freedom over your own body. did you even read the blog?

you clearly are not a real fan of Bill, or else you would research this, SERIOUSLY, a simple fucking Google search would do it.

And I've seen every single fuckin thing this man has done, asshole.

  • @samaramasexpot He spoke on stage of how it would be a "better world" if everyone smoked marijuana. Also, "Not only do i think marijuana should be legalized, i think it should be mandatory". Neither of those two things are about "freedom". You've clearly read one thing on the internet and now think you're an expert on everything, when actually you're a stupid cunt. "I've watched every single thing this man has done, asshole".You're the exact type of obsessive competitive fan he would have hated.

  • @Idlethumb88

Dude, If you're not going to research this, then shut the fuck up. The information is out there, and i gave you the link to Kevin Booth's blog talking about the misconceptions about Bill. And yes sir if you want to know, that bit is about people taking life too seriously. There is so much more to this man, and you trying to put him in a category he doesn't belong is what he would have hated. I may be a cunt, but I'm right about this and you're fucking stupid one.

  • @samaramasexpot

Good for you, you're absolutely right ! Bill was not a slave to "drugs" Isnt it ironic, how some people label great people (eg: Hicks who was a great human....BEING) as "drug addicts " how pathetic !

  • @ZEITGEISTism

Thank you! Finally, someone that cares enough about Bill to understand the man, and not assumptions and misconceptions!

  • @SecretAgent068 bill hicks is a corporate SLAVE to the tobacco industry.

  • @southpark3003 (sigh) is? (smh) idiot.

  • @southpark3003 Were all slaves... the only difference you need to acknowledge it. I've watched alot of Bill Hicks stuff and he seems to have acknowledged his own slavery in this world we live in. First step to freedom tho right?

  • @spruceshark Well said dude!...I spent way too much time bickering with this ass clown.

  • what a legend!

i bet some of the people were scared of him.and he looks a bit like mark chapman here.

  • Look at her face at 4:44. Great stuff.

  • this guy was truly fearless

  • Dan Hicks Rick rolled the crowd!!!!!!

  • 1980s, Debbie gibbson= justin bieber, 2010

  • @dacptn right on.

  • @dacptn eeeeeeexactly!

  • Just the same as most people not being able to handle actual rock n roll, the same is true for great comedy.

  • Oprah is the biggest pile of shit !

  • @Mescaline20 shit every where in the world are insulted at that remark!

  • @Mescaline20 Both literally and figuratively.

  • just... epic

  • crazy hella funny!
