This Colt Police Positive Target Model, First Model or "G" Issue, was introduce in around 1910. My gun was manufactured in 1919. Value is around a thousand dollars.

The gun was purchased via a GunBroker. auction. It was advertised as: “Timing and lock-up are perfect”, “The gun is Mechanically perfect.", however selling terms were "as is".

***Status update***

The Police Positive 32 has been received by the Colt recommended gunsmith in South Dakota and is being assessed for repair. They have preliminarily reported that, "someone installed the wrong mainspring in the gun and we can't emphasize what harm this could have done to it". Nice, huh?
