On Verizon when i look at upgrading a current phone the thing to the right says it is free but the thing down to the side says requires Data Pkg 29.99$ or higher. Does this mean its a one time 29.99 purchase or does it add to the plan and there is 30 more dollars on the bill then there is with a normal phone?

i just used this phone at Verizon and I noticed that you didn't review the swype feature it has or how you can physically write out a word with the little pen thingy and it will turn what you write by hand into text form.. Do other phone companies have different versions of the phone with less capabilities or something?

@monkeywren8 The i8000 is the number given the International Verion of the Samsung Omnia 2. In the US its model number is the i920. The front of the phones do look different, however software wise they are very similar.

Need help. I have an unlocked Omnia 2 i8000 and have problems of the phone hanging up by itself during calls. Usually, calls hang up on calling and receiving calls within less than a minute calls are initiated. My carrier is ATT, any solutions or suggestions. Thank You.

I use contacts - calendar most. disappointed when moved from my LG VX8000 to a smartphone, doesn't have feature I was used to, where you set a cal remindr to have a diff sound than other cal reminder. all the cal reminders are same. when download pics to ea contact, can't alter them on your outlk snc, can only attach a pict to a contct thru the phn. I set a sound and a picture of the person who calls me. heck of alot of work when you have to do it all on the phone
