If I'm playing a song in G, but at one point, I play a Bmaj7 (instead of a Bmin which is actually in the key of G) and I'm singing a B, will the pedal harmonize with an Eb? I want a pedal that follows my instrument and doesn't just stay in the notes of the scale.
I posted a video response to this, showing how I use the effect for acapella voice and saxophone. If you can't see it, check out Chris Ward Acapella Vocal Loops - thanks!
I wish I knew about that product, before I bought my boss ve-20. I ´m just trying to sell my ve-20 to buy tc helicon harmony g, cause im tired to change the key of my boss ve20 handly before each song..Oh I forgot to tell you Laura that you sing grate and play the acustic very well...Enhorabuena.
Hey nice vid. Until recently I was using a Harmon-G for all of my live gigs. It's a great unit. I've now upgraded to the Voice Live Touch. - I've posted a vid of me playing through my Harmony-G in response. Let me know what you think... Thanks
hi i'm a bass player singer from the netherlands (sorry for my bad english). i got the TC helicon G. so i only use the voice part. the thing is that its feeds back most of the time and is not easy to adjust
i bought this pedal but it doesnt follow my chords at all. for example, mrs robinson (simon and garfunkle) plays in Gmajor for the chorus but Emajor for the verse. the pedal doesnt recognise the key of E major and sings a G natural instead of G#. maybe its something i can fix easily but after 2 months I havent worked it out and the manual hasnt helped. have you any advice?
Your voice, your guitar and this pedal present a combination that does not ask for anything to be added, removed or altered. That is the definition of perfection or beauty.
hey I'm really thinkin' about buy this pedal, but my question is, can I plug my guitar into it with my pedalborad and have this crazy harmonics, the octaves up n down and stuff?, please I need to know haha 'cause this thing it's really tempting me!!!
I am curently using a tc vocal processer, how does Harmonizer Pedal work with that or can it? I am just looking to increase with harmony in live performance but am unsure if this would be the right choice of pedals for me...thanks
@TheMusicFarm , I have been using the create for about 3 years and really like the product , But with changing bands over the years I have learned that no harmony is better than bad harmony...So i am looking into trying to give us a little edge...
@partnr2 I think the Harmony G-XT would be perfect for you. Let us know if you would like to order one. Our standard Youtube subscriber discount would apply... Thanks!

@lmanzanares The Harmony M is the pedal made for keyboards. M standing for Midi. We have a sale on the Harmony M right now. Send a PM for details. Thanks!

where can I find clips of full bands playing with the singer using this product. all i've seen are solo acts with pre recorded backing tracks. Does this pedal work with a full live band? Live drums, bass, electric guitars, acoustic all playing around it?
where can I find clips of full bands playing with the singer using this product. all i've seen are solo acts with pre recorded backing tracks. Does this pedal work with a full live band? Live drums, bass, electric guitars, acoustic all playing around it?
@Plucey You can absolutely plug a guitar AND mic into this unit. The second part of your question will depend on how many inputs are on your amplifier. A lot of acoustic guitar amps will have two inputs - One for guitar, and one for a microphone. It's all amp dependent. Let me know if you would like to order this great product! Thanks!
I see a lot of these videos with an acoustic plugged into it. Can you use an electric guitar with it? I have a Les Paul and a telecaster and was wondering would these guitars work with this device?
I saw that with the 1.1 free update it will also work as a pitch corrector, so is it gonna work the same way as the voitone correct model and with the same accuracy?
I know i want one of the TC Helicon pedals but i have no idea which. Does the Harmony G only work if a guitar is plugged in? Would it still work in a drop tuning for a heavier band?
Thank you..thank you & thank you..I just bought one & I thought it was going to be hard to learn how to use it..from: Rockin Robin Rox & thumbs way up for the great presentation!
@TheYoungFolk Yes, you can connect directly to an active monitor. That is how we demo the Helicon items in our retail store. For recording - You would simply put the Harmony G in the signal path after the microphone. Ideally, you should use 2 mics; one will have the Harmony G in the chain, and the other will be direct it to however you're recording setup is. That way you have your choice of the affected, and unaffected signals when mixing. Thanks!
@hammondplayer91 For keyboards, you will want to check out the Harmony M video we have. It uses MIDI, rather than analog signal to control the harmonies etc. If you can't find the video, send us a private message, and i'll send you the link. Thanks!
@Kapnatui Yes, I just ordered the Harmony M from Guitar Center. It tracks your keyboard playing via MIDI. It even has a "Manual" mode that generates 4 new voices that sing the notes you play on the keyboard (rather than the usual key/chord analysis in the regular mode).
I have one, i love it, use it for live apps every time. you can change the voicing so that it does not sound as processed. definitely a conversation piece.
I am not as happy with the unit when I finger pick. It needs the root , third and fifth to work so if you're hesitating on that 3rd it guesses or holds the previous chord "instructions" ....you'll hear the shift from maj to minor sometimes.
How can i blend it with my G Natural? I mean, can I pick the right harmony while playing through G natural? Or I have to use G natural through one channel, and the harmony G to a second channel tracking my voice?
Correction to this reply. I was just informed that the harmony G DOES need a CLEAN guitar signal. So, you would need to plug the guitar into the "guitar in", and then out of the "pass thru" to your effects rig.
