The water pumps has gone out before, and the brake coolers flew off of it. Can u blame me?

I love cadillac but this XTS looks like or similar to a Buick Regal (2011) with some changes. I like the CTS a lot better and most cars now a days all look the same like no one could come up with a different style to not look like the next car.
I think that the new Cadillac XTS is going to be hard to sell. I mean the Chrysler 300 is RWD and has a V8 or V6. The XTS is FWD and has a V6 only. Also, it will almost certainly cost more than the Chrysler 300 too. Also the Cadillac XTS is made in canada, so I really can't find a single reason to buy it against the Chrysler 300 which also happens to come with AWD as an option.

I dont understand the point of this car. The current generation of the CTS was moved up in size to compete with the Mercedes E Class/ BMW 5 Series and was rear wheel drive and at least somewhat sporty, and yet here we have a FWD car made to compete for the same point in the market. If anything this car competes with the Lexus ES350 or the Acura TL, both of which are competing with the Buick brand so this car is stealing the market share of old people from Buick and younger people from the CTS...
@Pezdetz666 I don't get it either, but I've always thought of the CTS as a lost cause because the STS is much more fit to go against the midsize luxury competitors. The price of the STS is actually intertwined nicely with the prices of the E-Class, 5-Series, A6, GS, and XF. It isn't priced inexplicably below the average, like the CTS. It also has a more fitting shape and size for the class. I wish Cadillac would give itself more credit and price its cars higher. Think of the XTS as the new STS.
The car is stunningly beautiful inside and out. The design is fresh, unique and is a very refreshing take on the "Art and Science" theme. The Interior finishes are well chosen and are integrated very well. The obtuse decision to make this a front wheel drive car is only slightly vindicated by a pricey all wheel drive option.
@rforracing whats the point of arguing RWD over FWD in a car that isn't intended to be sporty? Are people expecting large amounts of steering feedback and the ability to rotate their LAND YACHT with rear tires? Full size luxury car buyers, most of them at least, probably don't even know which wheels are the drive wheels.
As for the V6, last I checked there was still an S350, as long as it isn't the only engine I don't see a real problem.
@mak450 Funny thing is XTS was supposed to be a "luxury sedan" but CTS serves that purpose too. CTS is rear wheel with the same 3.6L engine. So XTS is basically useless, its just bigger in size.
@rforracing The CTS doesn't have anywhere near the interior volume, the XTS will carry another person in more comfort over longer distances. That wouldn't be possible in a sports sedan with the same sized back seat as the CTS. Being bigger IS it's use,
