still on my list to get...having a hard time deciding between the Ballute system and the HD. gold plate is out of question due to me hating the plastic tree mark since I'm too lazy to paint.

wish they make a v2.0 of it tho...so that you can see the red eye sensor behind the black mask ...

this is my first kit, and man.. i was really angry at the first steps of the instrucion manual. you have to slide a part over another one and it did not fit. i figured it out that i put the rotation in reverse but you can't tell the difference. so if someone is going to buy it watch really carefully at the first page and the parts how they fit or you will be angry and lose another $40 just only for the arms :(

ive never gotten a kit with shiny coating... when you cut the pieces from the sprue, is it messy/difficult to sand/clean the part off making it a bit messy without some work? let me know plz.

Can this Hyaku Shiki be mounted on an action base? I am thinking of getting one, but I have been getting a lot of tremors in the area over the last few months, and i would hate for the model to get damaged if it fell over.

if you cut them off the sprues correctly you wont get that paint issue, i didnt get the chipping issue.

Hey Gunbdam fans just want to ask you all a quick question to help me out, i have only watched Gundam Wing so far and would like to wtach the rest but i am just wondering, there is (UC) (FC) (AC) ect but can you watch in any order and it will make sence for example if i watch all of UC in order is any other series outside of UC a complete different show if you understand me ? then wtach all of AC in the correct order then go on like that ?

Only UC stuff is linked to each other. AC covers different storylines, and FC is all alone by itself. Just watch UC in order and the rest whenever you feel like it :)

@ppshchik if you want to paint it I would recomend Tamiya paint if you want to do a custom paint job (if you do allot of custom painting a Airbrush would be a good investment) but if you want to stick to Anime collors Markers are the way to go or buy the apropiate paint set

Great review. Beautiful model. The 3 other "HD" Zeta kits didn't really impress me all that much, beyond just the positive traits of the kits they were derived from. I mean, the glossy plastic and special decals look somewhat interesting, but I wouldn't want a model like that, if all my others then look worse in comparison. But Hyaku Shiki was always meant to stand out, and the HD version does exactly that. The original yellow chrome does look good, but I think I like the HD one a bit more.

the HD color version's gold is a lot less shiny that this one. if you've seen the HGUC model, this MG is almost identical, but then they made a set of 3, called Zeta Gundam Gryphios War. it includes Mk-II, Zeta and a Hyaku-Shiki that had toned down gold. they look pretty similar from what i've seen so far.

The Strike Gundam is a redux of the original RX-78 Gundam, but the Akatsuki Gundam is a redux of the Hyaku Shiki.

Now the are remaking the models for the 2.0 ver.For zeta series,you have the mark2 gundam in white or black and zeta gundam is out.great review5stars and making it a favorite
