i was told this is not good on dobermans due to there slim necks. also can one use it on a long line? i would think no since you can give the dog whiplash?
Head halters are wonderful but I wish they weren't so popular. It is extremely easy to inflict serious damage, especially if you are using a retractable leash. (Which they don't warn you not to use!) I believe they should be 'professionals only' or only sold by professionals who are currently training said persons dog. I love my head halter and would never use another for my GSD but it makes me sick to see people jerking on the halters or using retractables. Be careful people!
another thing it is hard to see: A really well trained dog from this woman. How come hardly any of these PHD's in animal behavior still think that studying animals qualifies you as a trainer? The stupid harness is a prime example. I am sure it probably looked good on paper, but where is the evidence other than a reccommendation from someone who has dogs right there, ( I think --next class for her is how to show a viewable video) but would rather drone on instead of just show the evidence!
It depends on what breed of dog you got...I got an APBT and his head halter doesn't bother him. Your dog probably has a mild stop thats why his halter goes into his eyes.

I wonder if Expert Village have a video on how to film a video. Great info, but can't see it! Too dark!

it's really hard to see the halters on the dog because the leashes are black and so is the dog...
